This hair tutorial will show you to achieve heatless curls overnight using a sock bun. This hairstyle works best on medium to long hair and if you have thin, flat hair, this no-heat method of curling hair will give your locks a lot of volume! Hi guys, today I'm going to show you how to achieve big voluminous hair with soft curls and waves using a sock bun or hair donut. This method of creating heatless curls is fast, easy, and effective. You can do it before you go to bed at night or you can do it in the morning if you want your hair curled for evening events. I saw many pictorials on pinterest on how to achieve heatless curls with a stretchy headband but I tried that and found it difficult to sleep with. This is comfortable to sleep with but make sure your hair is dry when you do it because wet hair can give some people headaches. Enjoy!

Hey guys me here in this video, I'm going to show you how to get big voluminous soft curls using a sock leg. This hairstyle is great for people who don't want to tease their hair and use a lot of heat and best of all. It'S super quick and easy to do so. If you want to learn how to do this, then keep on watching. First off tie your hair into a high ponytail and if you're aiming for overnight curls, you might want to situate the ponytail right above your head. I don't recommend doing this hairstyle on damp hair because it might not dry up by morning, if you blow dry your hair and make sure that it's at least 95 percent dry. Now, if you want curls in the morning, then do this tonight before you go to bed. But if you want curls in the evening, then just do this early in the morning. The next thing you'll need is a hair donut which looks something like this. But if you don't have one I'm going to show you how to make one using a sock first off, you want to find a clean sock, preferably one that you no longer wear next flip the sock inside out. Look for the part of the sock, where your toes would go and cut the tip off with a pair of scissors on the opposite end of the cut you want to roll your sock up until you get a doughnut shape when you're done. You should have something that looks like this next feature: a ponytail through the hole in the sock. If your hair length is similar to mine, then divide your hair into two equal sections. But if you have shorter hair or you want more volume and divide your hair into three or four sections instead put your thumb and index finger through the top of the hole and pull the first section through then repeat the same steps until all your hair is Wrapped around the donut, if you want tighter curls, then definitely use a thinner sock and that will give you very tiny ringlets when you're done with one section of the hair move over to the next, when you get to the tip of the hair, just tuck it Underneath the sock bun, so this is what it should look like and remember, to put this bun right up up your head so that when you go to bed at night, you can sleep comfortably on your pillow without the fun getting in your way, anyways I'm going To go to bed now and I'll see you in the morning when else ts, as you can see, my hair is quite messy in the morning because I did sleep on it, but no worries we'll fix that later to remove the stalk gently unravel it like what I'M doing here you don't want to just pull the sock off your hair because you want to curls to be nice and bouncy. I forgot to mention that my hair obtains kiss and curls quite easily, but if you have stubborn hair make sure to apply some hair gel or hair mousse before you wrap your hair around the sock and since the ponytail was so high up. When you release it, you get a ton of volume. No teasing is necessary, just apply your favorite hairspray for long-lasting curls and you're good to go.
