Pencil Bun | Easy Style For School

I don't know why I thought of this hairstyle the other day, but when I was in high school I use to throw my hair up in a pencil bun all the time. It was usually when my hair was driving me crazy and kept getting in my face while looking down at my books. You know those times when you need your hair out of the way and you don't have an elastic on your wrist?! Well seriously, you can always find a pen or a pencil... unless you're looking for one in your desk drawer. In that case you'll never find one. Am I right?! I had so much fun filming this video and since, I've thought of like five more styles that would be cute with a "pencil" or hair stick. I'll definitely be revisiting this idea in the future. Hope you guys like!

Oh hi guys it's addy from twist me pretty make sure you subscribe. If you liked this video and let's get started, so we are going to pull our hair back into a ponytail and have your pencil ready and you're going to take your finger and wrap it around your finger and then twist your finger up just like we did In the messy French twist tutorial, so let's go ahead and do it again take the hair around your finger and then twist your finger up and end it kind of like on a slant and then take your pencil and push it down and it into the bun. Push it out right above your thumb, push it back in and back out. I used to do my hair, like this all the time in school, when I didn't have elastic and you can get these twists to be really really tight. So the one I have right now is plenty tight for what I need and if I have to redo it, you know in an hour guess what it took me like thirty seconds less than that, like five. So anyway, here's um how you can do a half cup one and then this is another way that I like to do it you're gon na take your pencil and wrap the hair around vertically and then make your pencil kind of do a 360 and then push It in towards your head out in and out again and that's kind of how you get the pencil to stick is that it's in out in out, so it's kind of weaved in so anyway, practice around with the pencil bun. It'S usually is one of my favorite, easy hairstyles, you don't need you, don't need anything but a pencil so anyway. DivaVonThese: I used to do this with chopsticks when i´m working in the kitchen and don´t have a elastic. So my husband made for me a fork and knife of wood, as thin as chopsticks, to wear them crossed in my bun. :D
