Samurai Man Bun \\ 4 Easy Quick Men'S Hairstyle

Here are four super simple hairstyles inspired by pictures of Samurais when they're on their day off getting Chipotle, liking pics on Instagram, holding puppies, not killing people etc...

Hi I made my bed for you, I'm so thoughtful. So recently I kind of got obsessed with samurais when you think of a samurai, you think of like these really badass guys who, like swords and just like the freaking awesome. But you know, aside from killing, people from Hypertime samurais were actually pretty fashion-forward. If you look at pictures from back, then they just look super cool just standing there doing nothing and they're just dressed all like casual and stuff, but it's actually the hairstyles that I'm really focused on in this video pic tapenades ponytails mad buttons. All of those already existed back in the day, but I'm guessing all those hairstyles were more for utility purposes. So samurai could get the hair out of their face, so they could see where they were stabbing so getting really inspired by those pictures of samurais. I thought I would do a hair tutorial on man, buns inspired by samurai or Asian guys or people that look like me. But honestly, I don't even know if I can call these hairstyles, because these are like super super easy. It takes like two or three steps to do them, but I mean it's hair and it's styled so yeah anyways, here's, the video there's four hairstyles that I came up with so before I'd like to do any hairstyle. I like to use a little bit of dry shampoo. I just find that it creates a little bit of texture and then it's just easier to make hairstyles. Also, here's a side note the dry shampoo, I'm using it kind of sucks, so I wouldn't recommend this brand. I only bought this dry shampoo because it was like 2 dollars and because I'm be so cheap, oh and some people wanted to know how long my hair was it's about like this length. I didn't measure it, but yeah it's around slight. So the first thing you want to do is gather all your hair into a ponytail and make sure that it's a little bit higher on your head than usual and once you're done, that you want to take your hair tie and wrap it around your ponytail three Times I noticed in a lot of pictures that when samurai would put their hair up into a ponytail, they would put it up a little bit higher so that the ponytail would almost make like an L shape. And it should look something like this and what I like to do is pull a few strands of hair out from the back, because I mean you just spent an hour killing people. So if your hair looks a little bit messy, I mean that's okay, and if you would like to add to this messy effect, you can just take a comb and just tease the SH out of your hair and in the end it should look something like this, Which you can leave it as or you can smooth it out a bit, so it doesn't look like a little bomb went off in your hair and yeah there. You go. That'S the final look all right. Let'S move on to the second hairstyle, so the second ear style is going to be quite similar to the first one. So, instead of putting all your hair back into a ponytail you're going to put some of it back but leave a little bit in the front. So you can have a fringe. So after you decide where the front part of your hair is gon na, be you want to take some of the hair from the back and make it into that ponytail again and after you fix the front part of your hair a little bit, it should look Something like this. This is also another messy laid-back hairstyle, because you spent like an hour shaving someone's face off with your sword. So it's okay. If your hair is kind of disheveled all right, so the third hairstyle is going to be one with the top knot. So the first step is to gather the hair that you would like to put in your top knot. So once you've done that you want to take your hair tie and make that ponytail again, but instead of pulling your ponytail through all the way. On the third time, you only want to pull it half way and with that little piece of hair sticking out at the end, you want to take that and wrap it around your bun, and you want to pin that in place with a couple bobby pins and Once you're done, you should have something like this: the back your hair should be laying flat, and if you want, you can break to the front run your hands through it give some texture, oh by the way when I was making this hairstyle, I didn't have a Mirror and my camera doesn't have a viewfinder, so I didn't see how bad of a job I did of making this top knot. But essentially you want your top knot to look something more along the lines of this, so the last hairstyle is another one using the ponytail that we already did, but instead of pulling your ponytail all the way through, you only want to pull it about 3/4 of The way so that it makes a little ring, I think that this hairstyle looks the best on guys with really really long hair. So what I like to do is pull out a few strands on the side and the back to give it that long, hair, don't care look, and this is the final look all right and that's it. Those were the four Asian hairstyles that were inspired by samurais. Oh, my god, there's hair all over my bed. Archie Thomas: Great video. I have insanely curly chunky hair so I really like these styles. What I find easy to do is instead of the single ponytail do two, half and half, top and bottom, so it catches everything and reduces flyaways. The technique where you fold it over so it's just a small bun works great with this and leaves you with two vertical buns and literally nothing in your face.

Pajtim Hasani: as an European with 76-77cm of thick long hair i always find it difficult to gather the locks into a proper bun. I only succeed 1 in 20 efforts. The weight and the type of hair indicate a lot. I can only go for the last style ye did. It seemed to be less harder and maybe a way to balance the weight of the bulk gathered up and not hurt the scalp. Sadly I don't have any proper image of my ancestors' long hair but i know they were mostly in braids.
