How To Wear A Hair Fork (Part 1: Twist Bun)

Hi everyone - this is Shayla Lucia with Sarah shop and today I'm going to teach you how to wear a hair fork. These aren't actual forks like from The Little Mermaid, like my little sister thought. When I first talked about it there, you wear them like you, wear a hair. Stick and they've got two little ends here and you just weave it into your hair, they're really useful and they can be used to make a variety of hairdos. Now you do need to have hair that can make a button in order to wear these I'd recommend at the very minimum shoulder Lee my hair, I'm growing it out to donate it's currently an elbow length hair, but these first few hairdos that I'm going to show You don't reply. Are super long hair, I'm going to do a separate video for people with really long hair. So here's my little arsenal of all these hair sticks. I have them up on my shop right now. I'Ve only been making them for about a week, so they're, I'm sure I'm going to be coming up with many many more hairdos that can be done. Using these I mean I, but I have too many to hold up right now and that one's all tangled, but we're going to start with the most basic hairdo, which I call a twist bun. Now you start with your hair freshly brushed and I've got this accent. Braid in left from earlier, I'm just gon na leave it there. You take your hair as if you're going to wear a ponytail, and you start twisting it you just twist a twist until all your hair is twisted in its full length, and then you start wrapping that twists around itself, just keep going when you get to the Very end, you twist the ends of your hair together and tuck them in and under the button. Next take the hair stick of choice in this case, I'm using the one that's about three and a half inches, it's pretty sufficient for holding up a bun like this. All day long, you may find the different size works best for your hair. So your the process with this is always a weaving back and forth with the hair fork as soon as you stick it in your hair. So I'm going to stick it in this way and then weave it back around and then we leave it up and down through the bun until it reaches the other end. There we go and this bun will stay in all day. I mean I can shake my head, it doesn't it's not gon na go anywhere, it's really easy to take down. It looks really cool you just whip this out, wave your hair whoa, you
