What'S good, today's video is going to be all about me moisturizing, my six week old, knotless braids that i'm flexing on camera right now, um. Let me get a little closer and show yeah a little closer, so boom um, i'm gon na get a little closer to my scalp and, as you can see, you can still see all of my parts clear as day six going on seven weeks later, um yeah. I spray water directly on my scalp on my hair. I foresee hair um, but up at the attachment of the braid there's no breakage just growth, so i'll probably still keep them in another two weeks um. But yes, i'm gon na show you how i moisturize my hair, okay and right here, my phone that fell off my quick little setup to record that i used today um but anyway. Yes, i've had these braids in six weeks. Um, i've been moisturizing them since about a week after i got them put in and i try to do it daily, but there is times where i'm just moisturizing my hair every three days every two days, but for up to me i would moisturize it daily. So first thing i always use is water. It'S an old myel, leave-in conditioner bottle, but it's just flat-out water always kind of use. The water next same bottle, but it actually is the leave-in conditioner. I put that um on my hair after water. Third is oil. I use do grow, stimulating hair oil. I also use uh myel oil um, but yeah. I use that today and last lotta body, coconut and shea oils mousse definitely want the foaming. Mousse comes out the best and yeah. That'S what i use i'm coming in closer on. My braids to show how some of my hair is separated from the braids from moisturizing it so much, but the braids were put in so well. You can't tell unless you're close as i apply the products i applied them in order, as shown first, i spray water on my scalp and then directly on the braids, where my hair was next to leave-in conditioner, squeeze it into the braids so that it actually penetrated. My hair strands next i followed up with oil. I don't know how much oil to use. I think i always use too much i go through and squeeze that into my braids as well penetrate my strands and then follow up with the mousse, which i put on top and around my edges to kind of lay the hair. What i'm showing now is what i consider the most important part of maintaining my hair. While it's in braids and that's taking care of my scalp, i do have dandruff. I do not get crazy flaky with braids. I don't wash my braids. I just keep my hair moisturized and i don't deal with my flaky scalp. While i have my braids in so, what i'm doing is adding a measured amount of oil to my hands, rubbing my hands together, getting on my fingers and my fingertips and going in and massaging my scalp. This encourages growth. I know. We'Ve all heard that and for me it definitely encourages growth, while my hair is in braids. So no matter what i skip, i don't skip this moisturizing of my scalp and going through and giving myself a massage. It'S really important, and i specifically made sure that i recorded this part where i'm pulling my scalp and massaging my scalp as a regular video and not a time lapse. So you see that i do not. I don't cut no corners like i take my time and go through and give my hair the love it needs give my scalp that massage really do it good make it worth it get that blood flow moving and you we wear braids a lot of times to Encourage growth: just do your part, and this massage is a really big part of that, and i'm just constantly adding oil um, i'm adding this oil to the braids i'll. Take it down a little bit to the ends. The ends are also showing how long these braids have been in so yeah. It'S about that time soon. Here they don't look that bad, but they don't like they looked when i first got them done. You can tell they're a little older um. So yes, definitely taking my time doing this i'll come a little closer to show my scalp's looking great snowflakes like and i'm telling you i have dandruff like for real, like i have to wash my hair every two three weeks. Otherwise it's flaking, but no flakes moisturized. Looking good, i wish this photo was more focused, but i just wanted to show my scalp after moisturizing it looking good and healthy. That'S it on today's video thanks for checking me out. Oh one random question: does anybody know what to do with over pump foundation like this is a big problem? I waste foundation? How can i say this drop a comment thanks, bye,

Ty Christina: I love how you took your time and showed each step on how you maintain and take care of your hair. I will be using these tips the next time I get braids. Thank you!!! Ohhh and to answer your question about the over pumped foundation, I use to over pump my concealer and found that putting it in a baggy saved it.. Works for me
