Trying The Melanin Hair Care New African Black Soap Shampoo By Naptural85 In London Uk

I bought the new Melanin Hair Care African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo by Naptural85, as well as the rest of the product line. Getting it to the UK was pretty quick, it took about 1 week and a half, shipping was free because I spent over $75… $94.73 to be exact (£74.75). Then customs fees hit me once the package arrived in London. I had to pay an extra £20.63 ($26.84).

What'S good guys, it's ida and welcome back to my channel if you're new here please subscribe, because my aim on this channel is to teach you how to become hairdresser free, how to do your own hair in the comfort of your own home. So make sure you turn on that notification bell, so you can be notified every time i put guys it's been. It'S been a long a long time coming, i've been waiting to try out melanin hair care since whitney first launched it last year and because i can't remember what it was, whether she wasn't shipping internationally or the fees were hella expensive. I don't know, but i didn't end up buying it. The first time she launched her products. So when she announced that she was launching a shampoo, i said i have to somehow get my hands on it and my hands on it. I have got. Of course, i had to go all out and buy the whole melon care range, because you know it's from the states on the uk and it makes more sense to buy in bulk than um yeah just to buy one thing and have the shipping fees bite me In the bum, so what i did was, i ordered everything every hair product that she had, so that is, the multi-use softening leave-in conditioner, the twist elongating style cream, the multi-use pure oil blend and, of course, the african black soap reviving shampoo times two. So i placed my order the day that they dropped on august 28. 2020.. I received shipping confirmation on september, 2nd 2020 and the products arrived at my door today on september 9. 2020.. So the reason why i ended up buying um two bottles of this shampoo is because they had this free international shipping over 75 and the way it worked out was. I had like, under a dollar left, to get that 75 and i either bought the hair band or something like that or buy another product which adds almost another 20 dollars to it. So i decided to go ahead and buy two of the shampoos, because i feel like i could use my normal oils or i could use some shea butter and i felt as though the shampoo was kind of unique in the way it is. I went ahead and bought two of those. Today'S video is all about the african black soap, so i'm gon na just open it up and give you guys my first impressions, so it is a twist off cap and you just open it up. Oh, you know what it smells like. It'S like toothpaste, it's like a. I can smell the peppermint. It'S not super super strong um, it's like yeah. It just reminds me of toothpaste. I don't know what toothpaste particular, but it's quite subtle, but it has got that pepperminty smell and i'm not hating on that. So my hair has been my hair. It needs some serious tlc like serious. I haven't washed in three weeks coming on to four coming onto a month, my hair has not been washed and i have not been looking after it guys. I feel, like i come on here a lot and tell you that i'm not looking after my hair. My apologies, i just you know things get ahold of you and you don't look after her. So that's why i just waited for this hair product to arrive, so i can actually do a wash day. I'M not sure whether i should go ahead and do a pre-poo a pre-poo beforehand, because i don't i i can't lie guys. I don't usually do a pre-poo, i don't ever pre-poo my hair. I just usually just go straight in with the um, with the shampoo i'm going to go straight ahead and just drench my hair with my spray bottle and then go ahead and apply the shampoo onto my hair and we'll see how it lathers the texture. All of that good stuff wet up my head, please you know what, for the sake of experiments, i do half of my hair with the leave-in conditioner as a pre-poo and then the other half i'm going to just go straight in with the shampoo and see what Happens, you know my hair's got gel in it. It'S got all kind of all kind of things in it. Look at this. What is what is the white substance coming out my head right now, i don't. I couldn't even tell you. One thing i must say is that i am in love with sleekness of the packaging and the colors and just the whole branding of melanin. Hair care is just it just says, stuff to my soul, so i'm gon na put it right here just to show you guys, it is like honey on the hand, love it. I'M gon na first of all apply the leave-in conditioner to that one. Half of my hair, this is what the leave-in conditioner looks like. So i'm going to just apply that to this half of my hair. It'S giving me chewing gum vibes. It is giving me orbit, not all bits. It'S i can't remember, do you guys remember those gums? Yeah, that was like a yellow pack and then you open, it's got a little strips of gum inside it and it was like wrigley's something or another. What is in this? I can just smell like oh, it's giving me chewing gum spearmint, oh whitney. I just want to eat it. Oh, my gosh, okay, so reading the instructions because it comes with a little sheet of instructions on here, it says to use the leave-in conditioner as a pre-poo, you should apply to wet or dry hair working it through alongside the melanin hair care, multi-use, pure oil blend To remove shed hair and prep hair for oil cleanser, so i'm gon na do as the the queen asks, and i will use both i'm going to get the oil we are in. Let me smell this one beforehand: oh, it's very subtle. Okay, i can smell something. I recognize this now. What is this sage jojoba? Maybe it's a whole bunch of sweet almonds? Okay, oh okay! I love me and oil guys. All i usually use in my hair is pure shea butter mixed with olive oil, and that is it so um. I had to get the oil i honestly had to, and it's really runny like i couldn't even put it on my hand, to show you it just slips right down. How long were you meant to leave a pre-poo on your head for someone, please? Let me know in the comment section down below and i meant to rent out the pre-poo. Is it what is going to stay in my head? What'S meant to happen? Oh, look at the definition. Are you guys deep in the definition of my hair? Are you deep in the definition so now i'm gon na go ahead and apply the shampoo straight on to the side of my hair. I love how big these um containers are. Look at this, i think my hair is drying a bit, so i'm gon na add a bit more of the water spray, some more water into my hair, but it does lava, but i feel like it will help feel like. It helps a lot more of my hair was wetter. I absolutely love the fact that it has like a nosely top. It makes everything that much easier, because i always struggle to get shampoo into my roots, and i feel like having this made for that purpose. Exactly yeah, it's matting on this side here, but it's not anything like worse than what i've used before i can't lie. I don't go out there looking for special shampoos. Nowadays, i just use whatever's in the bathroom um i've been using tresemme and honestly that stuff and that mattes up your hair, but this isn't even bad if i can run my fingers through it like this, i am not mad at all. It'S even giving me curls now i'm going to apply the shampoo on this side with the pre-poo on it. Definitely look it's a bit harder to lather up on the side with the pre-poo on it. I'M not sure exactly why that is. Yeah definitely feel like this side has taken the shampoo more all right, so i've applied the shampoo, i'm gon na, go wash it out and we'll see how that works out. Oh my god, right right, oh, oh god, almighty! So yeah! It'S a it's! A clarifying shampoo! All right, it is a clarifying shampoo. So the first thing i noticed as soon as water touched this i was like yup nope. I can't run my fingers through this side of my head, the side without the pre-poo, but then, with this side with the pre-poo, i was able to run my fingers through a couple of times before it started to feel the same way that this side felt so Um yeah, i would definitely say pre-poo if you um plan on putting your hands through your hair, a lot and really trying to work with it um this, because i don't tend to go in with a second shampoo. Whenever i wash my hair, i just got one done basically and then conditioning or whatever so um yeah, i feel like the prep, would definitely help as a protective barrier and without the pre-poo it just takes away everything. You know your hair feels like straw, though it's not like a bad feeling because, like i said, i've used other shampoos, where it literally just felt like all matted up and all just like. If you touch it will break kind of feeling, this one isn't that bad. It'S not like, oh my god, if i, if i rub my fingers through it, it's going to break off. No, if i run my fingers through it, i can rub my fingers through it and it isn't that bad. But overall, i do really really like the shampoo. It has got a slight peppermint feel it's not like hella tingling, like certain hair products are, i would recommend it and right now i'm going to go in with the um leave-in conditioner and just to see how it feels right after washing my hair, and it's also Good to have clean hair right now, i'm telling you that now, oh yeah, okay, let's take a section, shall we and see? Oh, i love the smell of this leave-in conditioner. It just gives me all kind of childhood feels nostalgia and everything i feel like this. Shampoo. Just gets my hair ready to drink up all the moisture that the leave-in conditioner is going to give it. So if i put it on this section as you can see as soon as i go through it, it's like it's so happy. My hair is so happy right now - oh my god, and i'm so happy because i love this smell. So what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na go through my hair, because i don't like to leave my hair dry for too long. So i'm going to go through and just apply the leave-in conditioner just quickly, nothing too crazy. I want to give you my final thoughts on the melon african black soap, reviving shampoo. So initially i can tell you that the smell is pleasant. I am not one. That'S really too fast when it comes to smell, but i do enjoy the kind of peppermint tea any kind of mint smell i really really enjoy so that just goes across the whole ball when it comes to the melon hair care products. I am a fan of the smell. I did not have to use a lot of the shampoo. There is still quite a lot left. I say i would probably use this shampoo, maybe twice a month once a month depending i personally don't have a strict wash day routine like i can wash it one day with shampoo, then the next week i might just do a co-wash like i don't have any Particular set routines, but now, with this melanin, hair care line, i feel like i will implement a routine because i haven't been excited about hair products in a very long time. So this range is going to make me just that bit more strict in terms of how much it strips your hair. It literally like clarifies if you need something to make. You start from zero you're gon na start from zero, and then you can start putting all your products on um. I think it also makes your hair ready to soak up any moisture that comes its way. So as soon as i used the shampoo when i put in the leave-in conditioner, my hair was like happy again so um. It definitely is something that you could use when you need a deep clean and when you don't want to, but you don't want to carry on with the product, build up. I think, if you're a person that uses a lot of products, especially gel, this is going to be really really good um. But if you're somebody who doesn't like that stripped away feeling, then i wouldn't recommend it. Maybe if you want to do it every once in a blue moon, then sure, but if you don't like that hole, oh my hands are not going properly through my hair kind of feeling. Then maybe it's not for you also in terms of the price, i kind of knew what i was getting myself into. I knew that buying things from abroad was going to be expensive, so not only did i have to pay for the products. Luckily, it gave me a free shipping but then also importing it into the uk. I had to pay an extra 26 or 20 pounds on customs fees, so once it landed in the uk for me to actually get my products, i had to pay that money. So i'm glad that i didn't have to pay for shipping, otherwise i'll be ultrabix, because i spent what almost 100 pounds almost 100 pounds on this all together and that is calculating that's about 20 pound per product, which is about 26 per product. If you include all the fees that i had to pay um, was it worth it? I personally say yes because of the amount of product that you get and because of the quality, and i like the smell and my hair, it seems to be loving it so fast. So i'm not complaining. It'S not going to be a consistent thing that i'm constantly going to buy it's one of those like luxury products. In my personal opinion, thank you guys so much for watching you're, definitely going to see more of the melon hair care line on my channel, as i experiment a bit more with it. I will see you guys next time, peace, love and life, so you
