Sadam one Salam aleikum: can you please give you a pinion on wearing protective styles like box, braids or single braids, using weave for the purpose of growing your natural hair? I watched your Q & A on locs and braids, but I was concerned about the weave part. As I know you can't wear fake hair, fake nails, etc, but wearing protective styles grows your natural here also I wear hijab and I'm not married. So no one's going to see the style. I just want to grow my natural hair. Through this method. I'Ve been searching about this for a while and couldn't really find anything. So I really appreciated the dark Allah. Praise Allah rewards you with jinnah eyeshadows waalaikumussalam lost a lot over the capsule. Thank you very much we are do. I may Allah allow us all to paradise. I mean, as far as your question, what is my opinion about wearing protective styles box, braids, etc. I would advise you to take the means of growing your natural hair, enhancing your natural hair. If that's, what you want strengthening fortifying your natural hair permissible means what is something that's eat, something to drink or a permissible way of twisting your hair braiding, your hair, locking your hair as far as using artificial hair or another animal or woman's here for the purpose. Not of looking like you have long hair, but just for growing your natural hair. My opinion is not to do that and to stay away from that. The process alone clearly said la ilaha. Illah was Musto sila or allah allahu la silla, philemon, so select as i've. The law, every muscle, Radovan was narrated in the fight process of me, said that Allah curses the woman who extends and almost gets the extension he idea for phlegm did not specify. So my opinion is to avoid it even with the intention and purpose of growing and enhancing your natural hair. Ok, that's my personal opinion that you asked me for, and I would advise you to do the natural things which I'm sure there are many of twisting braiding washing certain things you can eat certain things you can rub in and massage into your scalp, which can allow Your hair to grow naturally, and most importantly, is that your hair is only going to grow based off of what Allah has allowed it to grow, whether it is your DNA, your genealogy, the climate in which you live whatever along decree, that's what's gon na happen. I can put this type of tonic on my face, as brothers said. One brother he walked up to me gave me a gift. He says this is some tonic. Someone gave to me for you to grow your beard that you get a beard must be. I can scrub the time that guys can rub it in as much as I want. I can call my face. I can put olive oil on my face. I can put my face in the sun-baked my face. Whatever my hair, my chin or my cheeks, is not going to grow no more than what Allah does Allah has decreed. I can try, I don't know, what's the Creed, I can use the step up, but it's not going to grow and unless Allah has created to grow. So if I notice - and if I realize this then would it make sense most definitively - please little ox giving you it's not in your DNA or your genes that will forbid, regardless of your father, had a full beard or not. Maybe it's in your grandfather. We took the genes from this relative with this ancestor that didn't have a lot of hair on his face or because your lifestyle is stressful or something that you eat. Sometimes you drink whatever the case is this allows giving me try, take care of it, but I should be pleased what Allah has given me. He didn't give me a big Fork, wooly beard, some people say I can't understand it mostly how you're not upset that you have a beard, your Sheikh, you have to have a beard, your Musti, you have a beard. You can't look like you're, 14 years old 16 years old. You have to have a beard. I have to look like how Allah allowed me to look like. I have to look like how Allah wanted me to look like. So that's my advice. Try to grow you here if you want long hair and if not be pleased with it. Long hair is not everything. There'S some women who have hair down, literally literally down to their knees, some people down to their feet. There'S some women as they say there is and here down and down to her behind her buttocks down to her butt down. Sorry, she has long hair and she hates her here. She wants to cut her hair. She wants to trim the hair here. It torches out. It punishes her, it gets it away after wash it after dry it after coma. After do this, I have to do that. This is well known, many women, they hate along here and they weren't sure here and it wound, I'm sure here say I have some long hair. I have to have longer hair huh, some people that have skin or pearl skin, not all, but many of them is run on. They hate this skin complexion. They hate their lack of pigmentation. They want to sit under this machine, they will go to the beach. They want to get half-naked or even naked. Why the other black just to get burnt by the Sun, so they can have darker skin richer skin. This is well known and there's some people, a law is giving dark-skinned rich dark skin and it went up bleach their skin. They want to use face cream, they want to take this product and get the surgery to get lighter skin they're displeased with how they look. How long made them our law says that you so little chrome fill out hi me Katyusha a lot of the one who gives you your surah in the wounds of your mother as he pleases soprano talks. Remember right now made a mistake. Will make me black make me white, give me straight: hair, curly, hair or nappy hair or long hair make it long. This is dangerous! Let on the fact that if the person is growing in here or straightening, their hair or cutting in here braiding here, whatever the kitchen be for religious reasons or social reasons in which short hair is ugly. It'S bad thing for women to have short, hair or curly, hair or nappy hair is bad and then went bad here like this is is low. Silky hair is back straight. Here is bad, we start imitating people and following the trend in a style and what people give as the standard of beauty. It'S very, very dangerous. So, as I said, it's nothing wrong with money long here. That'S what you want! It'S nothing wrong with one in the full beard. That'S what you want. Try do what you can, but still be pleased with Allah, so just cut up what he gave you and that shouldn't lead you to join something that is clearly impermissible or possibly impressible. Now the concept of a woman growing her hair, i only win weave or yarn or extensions. That'S a very long fix issue, a 50 debate. Is it absolutely on arms? They have extensions. Can a woman put in a yarn? Can a woman wear a hair, that's Mary! If it's different color its dubidouxs cider, that's a long discussion if the husband allows it it's a long discussion, muhammad saw the lights on them said around Allah. Allah curses so therefore, try over here do not put extensions, then put in quote-unquote, weave or wig or whatever, with the in purpose of the hair growing. That'S my personal advice as a woman that I see to be benefiting of the situation that allows Angela make you please without which he has given you Allah knows best.

HaitianMuslimah: Asalamu Alikum I went natural and the first few months was hard two years later my hair is long ...... and I did not use artifical hair to do so. InshaAllah eat clean, and drink 8+glasses of water. I do believe gents plays a roll but inshaAllah be grateful with what Allah set has given you

Ann B: I am a Christian, but i do agree with what you are saying. We should be content with what God has given us.

Jasmine Gilbreath: Assalamu alaikum..i appreciate this channel so much. I love that it deals with a lot of questions that black muslim sisters have. Ive been searching for answers on these questions for so long and couldn't find them. May Allah bless you and JazakAllah khair.

Aramatoulaye Dabo: This is exactly what I was looking for. I wear the hijab and I just want to grow my natural hair, so I went to the salon and the lady suggest I use synthetic hair because my natural hair is so short. I'm planning on going to the salon this week and I'm not gonna add synthetic hair in my hair.

Smart Beauty: As Salaam Alaikum. Organic castor oil might help to grow your hair.

Mrs.Slay3r: protective styles are actually showing results of worsening hair. if you have afro textured hair 4c hair , the best permissible way id recommend is to deep condition. look up a few videos on youtube and stay consistent :)

Ashura Ramadhan: I've been stressing about my hair... it doesn't grow and i realise that if i had beautiful hair, i would never put hijab on it.. really Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin... so grateful for my little hair

F.Y.I: Assalamu alaykum. What about using rubber thread or hair thread that looks like yarn as a protective style

Waleed James: Weave actually damages the hair and will cause hair loss

Umm JJ Nine: Alhamdulilah good advice, Allahummah Barak.

Oyekanmi Eniola Naheemat: Is traditional African African threading method halal? It's a protective style I'd recommend to sisters To the best if my knowledge it isn't and my Muslim sister doesn't thread pass the length of my hair.

N W: I’m really sad because I just don’t feel pretty with my short hair... and it doesn’t grow

OMB darlxng: Can i ask a question??? Please reply❤️ Im going to use box braids because my mom wants to take care of my hair but shes too busy because we just moved in and im going to go to school soon and im a hijabi, can i use box braids to cover my hair instead of a hijab because i cant have box braids while wearing a hijab, Thank you.

Magnificent Truth seeking Queen: Ja zak Allah hir. Mashallah Mufti I love you for the sake of Allah ❤️❤️❤️

Oyekanmi Eniola Naheemat: I have also been searching for this for a while

Amal Samatar: Jazakallah khair

Suleiman Hussein: As a guy I’m I allowed to braid I’m tried of cutting my hair and really want braids

Theresah: By this logic, shouldn't wearing makeup be forbidden too? As God is all knowing, he knows that our hair specifically type 4 hair, is very unique and is not easy to maintain. For some black women, it's easier to maintain our hair in "protective styles" whether it's due to societal pressures (I'm sure God is aware of) or personal choice. If we're "cursed" by doing these practices, why does God reward people who engage in these practices financial success (i.e hair business owners, models, singers and actresses etc ...) I guess a lot of black women are "cursed" and are doomed for hell. Sigh ‍♀️ ..... #You'reDamnedIfYouDoYou'reDamnedIfYouDon't

Saima Ayat: Protective style is a myth . The best way to grow hair is to feed the body fresh clean whole foods and to keep it clean and moist . And as mufti said our hair will grow as much as it is meant to grow. We must learn to accept what Allah has given us. Even when it comes to our hair...

Lashes&Lipgloss !!: Why is it haram?

amina a: Good question

Catlover furever: What if someone has alopecia? Are they allowed to have hair extensions or wigs then?

Teekannenkevin -_-: Facts

HaitianMuslimah: Haram, extensions are cursed

Mariam Bashir Ismail: My question is can men have braids;.¿

Samar 2: What about a hairband. I also have a beard

Anonymous Muslim: Nice Moroccan Arab Jelbab.

Samar 2: What about a hairband. I also have a beard

hmm: Drink Fenugreek tea

The Maroon: Brother what happens to the person who has a website selling fake hair

Umm Ali's Happy Home: Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to sell wigs? I know Muslims who own Beauty Shops and they sell extentions and wigs etc. I have read mixed fatwa on this. JazakAllah kier.
