Hi guys, how are you I'm Robin welcome back to my youtube channel and welcome back to another brand battle now this one is the Battle of the freeze hold hairspray. I'Ve got Tresemme up against, got to be now you'll notice, I'm not in London. That'S because I'm still at home in the refuse of Scotland - and this is the perfect opportunity for this Brown battle, because but any of you have been to Scotland, especially in the north, then you know that it can be cold, it can be wet and it can Be windy! No! For me, this is a hallelujah. Let'S do this round battle. We are going to actually came these hair sprays and see which one is going to come on top. So in this one, I'm going to go through several factors and talk about what the products actually are: the packaging, the ease of application, the drying, the finish the hold, the wash ability, the price and then. Finally, my verdict, which product will win that guys, if you're new to my channel, you might be thinking what the hell is a brand battle. Then you need to subscribe right now, press that button just below the video and also, if you have subscribed but you're, not seeing this then hit that Bell button, and that will give you notification here. We go round battle, freeze, hold hairspray. Now the two products I've got are both super hold hairspray. The Tresemme is the strongest one over that whole range. I trust me: it's an American company started in 1947 instantly. Great knowledge versus has got to be, which is one that I find a lot of younger guys. Maybe yourself mentioned quite a lot and this is from the glued range, but no they've always got gel for a bluing and spiking your hair, and this is blasting free spray with a number four screaming hold: no packaging, not Nestle an important part of brown battle. But if we want to talk purely aesthetics, then they're both in aerosol cans, the Tresemme one in this white aerosol can with black writing and then blue accenting. I'M I'm not a massive fan of it. I think it's a little bit old-school. Also, I don't think the finishing is great on it versus the got to be, which is, at the opposite, end you're very bright. It'S very young, the bright yellow with a black board. Writing on it also with it sort of silver nozzle on it. I think is very different compared to other products that are out there, but guys piper packaging goes to got to be now for testing both these products. I'Ve just done my usual sort of quick hairstyles. I thought we want something with loads of volume, so i've just used a little bit of the Loreal bleached and gloss mousse into damp hair blasts with a hair dryer. Then it needs a little bit fudge matt head extra to really build and defined that here before then, using the hair sprays, no for ease of application that got to be one. We obviously know it's got this nozzle on it. It'S actually really, then great at directing that hairspray straighten to where you want it quite very fine mist. It gives even coverage versus the Tresemme, which is slightly heavier in the mist. It'S still very good at sort of getting into the hair, but I did find I was getting it arraigned about my hair on my back and it was really courting me. So the point for ease of application goes to got to be know. This next factor depends on how quickly you need to be getting out of the house for me a journey black, my hair, and I want it to be good to go now. Both these products did dry very fast. The Tresemme one went straight in it started drying as soon as I'd finished, and it did feel slightly sticky before it finished very since that got to be one which just dried so so quickly and basically, as soon as I was finished, blasting it. It was good to go so the point for drying just because it dried slightly faster goes to got to be. Both of these products did give a matte finish. The Tresemme one had slightly more to have a clean look to it and look less shiny than the god to be. I'Ve also found that, with a got to be one through the past times, I have used it and also to get just a little bit too close to here. Then you will get a slightly white texture to it, which does then look a bit like glue. So the point for finish go to try to mate. If ever there was a place to test freeze hold hairspray. This has got to be it really windy. Still very much here. No, the got to be one was great. It stayed in position. The wind was actually slightly last, I'm gon na depress anyone. It just really stayed in place. I think that I had a great to spring to it, but I have to go. I found that it had dropped just lately, really not moving rock the bit of volume versus the Tresemme one which actually, we had higher wind, faster wind. The Tresemme one kept itself in place when I saw push down on it and a great spring, and afterwards, when I got back in the car, it just looked exactly the same. So the point for hold, because I was so impressed with how it finished - was Tresemme for washability there's, actually not much in it. You know they both wash over hair very easily just with water. I'M gon na need for a shampoo, but I have found on numerous occasions when I use the Tresemme one. It did leave my hair with a slight like this smallest. I might have a sticky residue. So the point for washability, just because I left my hair feeling cleaner goes to got to be now. Price always comes down to where you live. Currency delivery charges. All of that. So I have a link where I found it down below a friend on Amazon and also on booze, which is actually I got these if you're in the UK. Now this is 250 mils of the Tresemme, and this was 3 pounds and 5 pence versus a slightly bigger bottle. 300 mils of the got ta pee, and this was three panes. So the point for value and price goes to God to be so verdict. We have got five points for the god to be versus 2.4, the Tresemme so purely on points. The brown battle winner is got to be, but stop your packing guys clapping right now. This is where bran battles get. I think very interesting now, for most the points got to be wins, but for the things I think that are very important for a hairsprays Tresemme comes on top that hold was fantastic in the wind, it didn't move, it's sprung back into place and also the finish Was so clean that a lute like you didn't even have a hair spray in place? So really my overall winner for this one is Tresemme. Well, don't rest away and also for 5 pence extra nonce, I'm going to break the bank. They go guys. My fries hold hairspray Brown battle. We'Ve enjoyed this one and also enjoyed being in my homeland of the northeast of Scotland, but thank you so much for watching guys. Come and see it, but guys, I'm gon na see you in my next video, which will be next Thursday, bye, bye,

Robin James: Brand Battle will soon be finishing up for this series. More new series coming up on the channel. Very excited for you to see them.

Acid Mack: Thanks for this video, ive used Tresemme for a few years now and its been great but sadly it seems like they have changed the formula as the freeze hold does not seem to freeze hold as well as it did before. It seems more wet. It would be good to see a new comparison video for these two with the new formula Tresamme as i am now looking for another freeze spray that is as good as Tresamme used to be

Cameron Walker: YES! Thank You for doing a brand battle with got2b glued! love these Brand Battles, makes buying hair products much more simple

KO Doom: Thank you for this video. I love got2b glued hairspray to keep my wigs in place, but I have allergic reactions to it so I'm excited to have stumbled across this alternative! Will be purchasing tomo.

Christian Toy: 4:00 If ever there was a place to test a freeze hold hairspray, this has "got 2b" it. Good one Robin.

Kevin McGee: Great video as always Robin! I have used the got2b hairspray before but didn't like that the nozzle always got gummed up and wouldn't spray I will definitely try the TRESemme

Gerardo Salgado V.: Amazing video Robin! Really sad about the end of brand battle, Congrats, you've done a really good job with this series

Emre Y: such an awesome review man. I'll try either one of the two on medium/longish hair. I hate windy days, especially when it's basically windy everyday here, so I feel ya.

Reaver: The Tresemme one is so heavy! Half of it just falls to the floor, switched to Got2b a while back :) So much finer and lighter

NayBoy91: I've always used the tresemme over the got2b. The hold is so much better. Thanks for the vid :)

Charlie Mills: OMG! I remember you using the got2b hairspray in your very first video, the hair mousse review. I love this Brand Battle!!

Argo Athen Mosaw: my hair is long and i never use these products nowadays but these videos are extremely interesting to watch and it's cool learn about all the differences in each product :)

xyber81: Anyone else find that hairspray attacks the styling product you’ve used, the hair falls into strands and your hair looks dull. Sometime the hairspray just sits on the surface and dries dusty too, depending on the product used previous.

julflo80: This guy is a professional, everybody else will just use a fan but he step in the car and went out to get a real windy situation. Kudos for your dedication!!

Coxy37: I use tresemme freeze hold purely because, where I do a lot of sport throughout the day it keeps my hair in place throughout.!

J 21: Do some hair powder comparisons for this series please! Great vid

Learn Scottish Gaelic with Love Gaelic : Since the formula changed of the TRESemme freezehold, it doesn't hold the hair in place any longer. Just as bad and low quality as a cheap hairspray now. It falls flat after a few minutes. Got2b is even better than that now. In Scotland (islands) with high winds, I used to be able to rely on TRESemme even at 50mph winds. It always fell into place. Now the hunt is on to find another one...not easy.

Patrick Newman: great video! i really like the brand battles what u make :) its very interesting as well :) btw i subbed! ;)

Pijbb: Robin, and to others. How long (in minutes) do you usually blowdry for? I've heard recommendations to do it for about 8 minutes to "seal the cuticle", which gives your hair the shine and volume. I have no clue how long I should be blowdrying for.

Jaden: I used gotb everyday! Im glad you're talking about it

Matt Pritchard: I've only used the Tresemme one and I found that when I sprayed it onto my hand to brush down the flyaways it dried before I even got my hand to my hair

Aziz Nikbin: Amazing video as always, Robin. I have a question though, and it's not related to the video, what do you think of Tresemmé shampoos? have you tried them? which one would yoh recommend? Thanks! :D

Jeremy O'Neal: How are the smells? I've used a tresemme touchable gold hair spray before and the smell just absolutely overpowered my cologne, I smelled that hairspray all day

Godyr: i got a lot of hair on top (More than most) with the sides cut and tresemme freeze hold lasts a full 24 hours if you dont touch it its an amazing hairspray i suggest it highly. Wind dosent even affect it and you dont need to put a big amount on either and it dosent smell nasty either.

LiquidMoon13: Great video! What is the North American/Canadian Equivalent to the Tresseme Freeze Hold spray? We don't have that product here :( Our stores carry Tresemme products, but not this specific hold freeze spray Nor is it available on Amazon Canada or States :( Love this haircut btw!

Luca Santangelo: Quite a clear winner then, Nice video as always Robin! Hope you had a lovely xmas and New Years!

Erin Kaye Ozga: I've been a fan of Tresemme for years! Nothing wrong with Old School.. good one Robin

Tim Wong: Just got the TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hairspray 500ml for £3! What a deal!

Jesus Hernandez Fuentes: I’ve been looking for something like this! You’ve saved me. Thank youuuu

Scullzyy: Been watching you for years now! Love your videos.

SMOKEY428: So tresemee is stronger than got to be glued, i always thought got to be glued was the strongest spray ever, gonna have to try tresemee out

Charlie Huan: Thank u for the review. I agreed with u. Love tresemme spray

Jack Van Landeghem: Hey Robin, have you ever taught about doing a basic "how to use clay" video? Also what do you think about Jack Barber clay? I heard its very good for people with thin hair! (Sorry if my english is not the best im from Belgium :) )

Ross Williams: Really useful tried both of these and never knew the best

bz.27k: I get the same tresemme one £3 for 500ml, only annoying thing with that huge bottle is its so wide hard to put it in your hair yourself and grip it

joeykong94: One issue I have with the got2b is the nosel gets sticky and clogged on me a lot of time

sku619: Do another Hair Spray brand Battle!! plz :D

AB ram: Hey Robin , how does your wella silvikrin classic stack up to these two? are they going to replace it? Btw awesome video as always

Akil 97: this one was extremely helpful!

Jawad Aamir: I recently bought the tresmme and its not as good as it was before. The hold isn't there much tbh and hair falls.

Rafi: Hey Robin, long time subscriber :) Could you recommend an alcohol free hairspray? The one i use right now has alcohol and dries out my hair

Mahmudul Hasan: @RobinJames I bought the Tresemme hair spray after watching your video but not sure what hair product apply before blow-drying. Any suggestions?

nikhilsrl: Robin, may be you should give different weightages for each factor, like for a hair spray more weightage should go to hold. That might just give a better result

Andy LookCute: Will we get the same effect if we only use hair spray unlike the one in your video? Will our hair fall after sometime?

Mark Santiago: Can moderate use of hairsprays cause hairloss somehow?

Sterling Frey: Hey, can you do a brand battle on dry shampoos?

Ryder: Great vid!! Was looking for a hair spray thanks

Vland Fusilero: this guy deserves more subs.

Jack Lantern: How do these smell? couple of hairsprays I bought the smell was very strong. lol Anyone recommend a lightly scented hair spray?

AWESOMEXEPIC: Do you think shape ups/line ups are good or have a purpose?

TSimSimP: Im so greatful u made thisthanks robin

Ninja Nerd Student #69: When I find the wind disrupting my hair or driving with the windows open, all I have to do is wet my hands in any public bathroom, and move the hair the way I want again. Done. Gets back to its previous possession and stays even stronger.

Daniel Eid: Does tresemmé damage hair if used every day ?

enrico diberardino: Awesome video, how inch is good to spray?

sd5353: Interesting... I've been using the got 2b spray for like 10 years. Just ran out today so I'll give the Tress a shot. Thanks!

Harish Kagale: Is it suitable for daily use?

eli hauser: i think you should way the points so things that are most important like finish and hold should be 2-3 points more than the other categories.

Lukáš Helcl: Is there any odorless hairspray? Most of them have a stench that doesn't leave during the day and overpowers everything.

plumbumpoisoning: Have you considered weighing the different scales more? Like finish could be worth like 1.5 or something if that's more important

Doba Troba: Can they be used on long hair ?

Fred Rojas: What hair product do you recommend for thick hair styled into a comb over ? I want a product that keeps my hair up but not hard and I can reshape it throughout the day. Pls reply

Nah.: How come you didnt use Silvikrin hairspray? I thought that was your favourite go-to?

Bearie roblox: Do a battle between layrite clay vs a similar product

Momin Khan: Bro ur killing it with these vids loving it keep up the dope content I rate it

Aksshay Sharma: Are these sprays safe to use?

Jesus Christ: Thanks for the video. Is applying product before hairspray necessary?

steven: Why dont you blow dry the got2b so it can freeze faster?

Max Button: But Robin you could get the Got2b and a plastic carrier bag to put all your shopping in for the price of just a bottle of Tresemmè

Umer Hayat: Hey !! Can you please tell me which products have you used in intro part? Your hairs are looking thicker and fuller.

MichÆl BAKRE: What shampoo do you recommend? I'm currently using Kevin Murphy stimulate me wash and it says it contains Silicone Quaternium-16, but I'm not sure if that's bad for you?Because I watched a video saying the bad silicones end with a certain letters (forgot them).

C9 Cyanity: Do you prefer L’Oréal mousse or Toni and guy because in your videos you always use L’Oréal but in your brand battle Toni was the winner so which do you prefer more.

Cameron Crawford: Dude hair is 10/10 in this video

Liam Ruane: Would hairspray work well if I have a long fringe?

Hazuma: Loved it.

HubbmuscleTV: TY again Robin. You’re the best!

misery: hey robin! are you going to LCM this year january 6th? i liked your video from last year, and hope that you'd make one this year as well, cheers

I DS: Absolutely inaccurate and unacceptable video. I usually use got to be glued because of this video I thought I'd buy the tresemme spray. Wish I never bought 3 cans that were on offer in the supermarket. Got2be has a lot more hold. It's not even comparable. The only thing the tresemme spray has is it has a matte finish compared to a more wet look got2be. But for me and my thinning hair the hold is extremely more important.

imtomhall: I would love to see brand battles for clothing too like with black skinny jeans or certain shirts, it could be called Clothing Clash instead maybe.

Elias Bardis: Lmao! "screaming hold...oooooooh!" best line lol

Dillon C: Does hairspray effect the shine if you are using a pomade or a wax?

Yellowstone: nice video as always. i hate hairspray :D

MacDeath: LOL Who knew that you could make so many hairspray puns in one video?! :D

Joshua Richardson: If ever there's been a place to test a freeze hairspray, this has Got2B it

Andrew Worton: I would love it if you showed us the shampoo and conditioner you use. I have not found a shampoo nor a conditioner that leaves my hair felling plump and thick.

caleb: What is your favorite hairspray?

TheMelZagers: Great job again Robin , And yes i am going to spam/ask this in every video please Morris Motley Styling Balm vs some other amazing/god product

Qinwei Yang: best review ever i want to say

leo Hammond: I have very thin hair and I want a quiff. What's the best product to use❤

the3amigoz: are you going to review any more got2b products, preferably the inPlay paste

City Boss: Great Video

SK: Is got2b bad for your hairs?

Nicholas Song: Robin, possibly.. Content on Thickening shampoos/conditioners for fine hair? Since you're into products that make hair fuller and add volume. I don't see any such content on YouTube as well.. Tricky part is how the content is gonna be presented tho!

Fettster: Robin what are some good hair waxes that can be used on medium/short hair that have little no shine? I tried to TIGI Bed Head workable separation wax but didn't really work for me. Looking for something I can find on the USA amazon.

Abs D: I use the silvikrin maximum hold

dgnty: "I have just used a little bit of the mousse" * applies 300ml of mousse * lol

Matthew Lacey: Unrelated, but what shampoo do you use, Robin?

cameron pollard: Please do a budget brand battle

Ur Mum: hi robin im from the borders in scotland and i have thick hair what do I do because i cant get my hair good

Yessarr: The smell puts me off the got2b one!

Hayden Tift: I live in the US how can I purchase the tresemme or is there any alternative to a hairspray that will stand up against tough wind?
