Hello friends and welcome back today, I thought I would share with you guys how I wrap my straight hair in the evening. So during the day I might wear a hat or something I've been obsessed with my my queue and lately. So, at the end of the day, you just want to make sure that you detangle your hair before we start wrapping, so I'm just doing that with a brush, and this is also going to help me create my part. Now you want to part your hair, how you wouldn't normally wear it during the day. So if you have a side, part go ahead and part it on whichever side you normally wear it on I've been wearing my part down the middle. So that's where mine is and then you want to smooth down the two halves and tuck them behind your ears, and the next step is you're going to continue your part all the way down to the back of your head and take these two halves of hair. Whether they are the same size or not, depending on your part and you're, going to neatly cross them over each other, diagonally like so so as flat and neat as possible, and then you're gon na take two huge clips and clip these two halves onto your head And the main purpose of the clips is basically just to keep your hair from falling down in the process of wrapping it around your head, so you can use as many Clips as you need for this. I probably could have used two more, but I only use four but keep in mind. You can use as many as you need to hold your hair up and then, after that, really simple you're done. Wrapping your hair and then you're gon na use your head scarf to wrap your hair into place, and I love this head scarf. This is from Sally's, it's really stretchy and really easy to use, and I just I have two of them. I love it and if I can find it online, I will link it down below, for you guys and as I mentioned, the clips are temporary, so we are just going to flip them out really easily so keep in mind when you're wrapping your hair, your head To keep the clamp part of the clips on the outside of your head, so they're just really simple to slip out and the clips that are more on the top of your head, keep the clamp towards the center of your head. That way, as you can see here, the clip is just really easy to slide out, so just keep in mind where your clips are so that it, your hair, is not falling down as you're trying to take the clips out. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope it was helpful. It'S a really simple way to wrap your hair at night, especially if you don't want to spend a whole bunch of time on it. Like me, and at the end of this of course in the morning you're just going to unwrap your scarf and your hair will be nice and straight like it was the day before, and you won't have to use heat on it again. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did, please give it a thumbs up and thank you guys so much for watching if you guys enjoy these videos subscribe. If you would like to see more, I love you guys and I will see you guys next time.

T'keyah B: Haven't thought of this method. I just posted my straight hair routine and I may try this out !

Susanna J: This makes so much more sense than the old wrapping technique where one side always ended up funny looking and feel thin. Please carry us along to your next relaxer appointment so that we can see the process :D

Shalika Ro: This has been the easiest wrap method I've seen! Thanks for sharing!!

RyMingTahn: Cool! I've been doing this method for years- when I wear my hair straight ☺️ it's so much better than the traditional wrapping which hurts my edges

Sarah: This is the first hair wrap I’ve actually been able to recreate. Can’t wait to see the results! Thanks for sharing ;-)

Tanamontana100: Found you through Kayla!! Gorg, and very helpful!

Sisi Honour: I absolutely love your technique! It's simple, quick, and still gives the look needed to wear it down the next day. Thanks for sharing your technique!

Procrastinart: You've actually taught me a new method. I can never do it in the traditional way because my hair in the crown always come out messy. Thank you and your hair looks so healthy <3

Katkiddude 28: thank you so much for this, usually it takes all of my family to help me wrap my hair but this was quick and easy just for me

Ylva Bjarnson: This is a blast from the past for me Charisse. I'm a 60 year old woman with hair down to my fanny. My hair is almost as curly and frizzy as a black woman's hair. When I was about nine, there was a commercial on our black and white TV where a black woman showed how to wrap hair around her head. That's when I started wrapping my hair to help make it more manageable. This was the 60's. I also knelt down, put my hair up on the ironing board and ironed it with a real iron!!!!! Thanks for the info as there are many women of all nationalities with severely curly/frizzy hair.

annelyseb55: This is great - so easy and simple - thank you!

Ashley Jackson: Just want to thank you for making this!! My hair is natural and when I straighten it and wrap it in the circle it comes out bent up and creased and weird lol. Can't wait to try tonight!

BriBri82: Thank you so much for posting this video. I’m now going to start wrapping my hair like this. I don’t know what I was doing wrong with the old wrapping method, but the middle of my hair started breaking off, and my hair has also become very thin. Although my hair has grown, the middle of my hair has broken off and my once same length hair, is now uneven, due to the breakage in the middle of my hair. Thank you once again for this video.

Ash Lovee: Simple and straight to the point! Love it. Thanks for posting

DenayTheDiva: I stopped wrapping my hair all in the same direction because one side of my hair unwrapped perfectly during the take down while the other side made my scalp feel tender; I would comb it down in the opposite direction after wrapping and it wouldn't fall properly.  I love wrapping my hair by using this method.

MsBerry: Awesome, this was super, super simple. Since my hair is shorter, I inserted my clips starting below the crown and going downward. I just have a wrap cap (instead of a full scarf). So I left the clips in, wrapped my hair and I'm able to sleep perfectly fine. Thank you!

erikuuhh: So glad you made this! Definitely gonna start trying this technique, seems a lot safer & not as harsh on the head as the usual wrap one way technique. Thank you hair guru lol

A: THIS IS SOOOO MUCH EASIER than what's out there. Love this method!

Emma H: I never understood how to keep my hair straight when sleeping! I have an undercut so I find the others of wrapping hair (all in one direction) tricky. This is perfect and i can keep my middle part! Thank you!

Esenahs: this is exactly what i do! it has always worked better for me than the traditional method. btw you look great charisse!!

Shanique Buntyn: I use the exact same method. Works great every time

Wendelyn Arroyo: Thank you!! This method helped me SO much!! Very simple & convenient❤

WavySpiceTV: your hair has grown so much charisse i love it! middle part really suits you too

Lilmiss Noname: Hi. This is the easiest and quickest wrap method I've seen so far. Love it. Thanks for posting.

Delorian Eunice: Girl thank you! I've been searching forever for an easier way to wrap my hair!

Nette: oh my word!! Saw this video a week ago and I must say, this the best youtube hair tutorial I've seen. HELPED SO MUCH not to mention how well it works compared to the "other wrapping way" Thanks!

Patrice Brown: You and your hair looks gorgeous!!I'll definitely try this method when I grow out my haircut! I always hated the traditional method because I never got it right! And brushing your hair to one side every night can cause thinning on one side.

Lucelia K: O jeito mais fácil que aprendi até hj! Thank you

annaftw: I have curly hair and I do this before I go to sleep with damp hair, and it works sooo good thank you for this video! It saves me so much heat and stress <3

Kysha: Simple yet so helpful thanks!

K W: Soo much easier and less painful! Thank you! And end to my always raggedy hair!!

Kellie Marie: Super simple! Perfect. Thanks!

Her Crown Adjusted: I love this method because it’s less manipulation than the traditional way which requires constant brushing. Thanks for sharing!

Zhaklin Vasileva: This looks so simple! Thank you dear!

Aurielle.G: I’m gonna try this tonight cause my scalp has been so sore on one side since I’ve been wrapping it this past week. My hair looks so great but I can’t do the soreness. Hopefully I get the same sleek results with this method

Dee Barnes: God bless you and youtube. Whenever I straighten my hair I usually wrap it by just brushing it in that circle but I absolutely hate that method because I feel like I inevitably tangle my hair in the process and then struggle to get on that cap (i'm blanking on what it's called, but I then mess up my wrap 2 or 3 times before I finally get it on THEN put my bonnet on after that). I'm going to try it this way tonight. Thank you!

Jasmin Moon: i have always had trouble wrapping my hair...i just watched this and tried it and i am soooo praying it work for me...fingers crossed

S.K.I.N.T.H.I.C.I.T.Y: thank you thank you thank you! so much easier than the traditional way and way less tension on your hair!

Kris: This video helped me so much . I'm 12 and I just got my hair permed and I never wrapped my own hair before.this may have taken a little longer but it was worth it thank you so so much! I wrapped my own hair for the first time tonight thanks to you.

Respectfully Angie: Awesome! I'm definitely going to try the cross wrap, because I've never been able to get the regular hair wrap down. Thanks for sharing!! New subscriber.

Winston Sylvans: Really helpful and straight to the point. Thanks.

Islandgirl: I am legit obsessed with all your videos! I'm not even relaxed lol Im natural but I was all up in this screen girl!

Tisha Dupuis: This was a great video! I'm going to try this method under my hard hat!! Thank you!

Anastasia Slays: life saver thank you!!! I know how to wrap my hair but this method seems a lot easier

TwofoldLife: This video was very helpful ,I recently straighten my hair , and was having a tough time wrapping it ,this will help dramatically Thank you #DeonahSymone

Shawty Jo: Thank you! This is the easiest hair wrapping video I've seen so far!

Uptowngirlthred: Seriously, I struggle with wrapping. Crossing over hair was a light bulb moment. Why haven't I been doing that! Lol I just wrapped my hair with no issue and removed clips at end. Thanks for this. So glad I watched your video tonight. Lol Now to not be a rough sleeper. Thanks again. Can't wait to watch more videos. Finally mastered a wrap.

Carolyn Hunt: This is perfect. I could never do it the old way. Thanks

CINDY BROWN: Thank you I used this for my daughters straight hair!

Gina: I love this video..very simple especially for me I have slipped discs in my back and couldn't do it the other way

LaPorcha Tanzale: I'm not even relaxed and I watched, simply because I love watching your vids! Lol

Bianca Molton: Thank you. I have been trying to wrap my hair and my hair would keep falling but this method I did soo easy ❤️

Khristian Simone: Nice and simple!  I love it! The next time I wear my hair straight I am going to try crossing it in the back like that and using larger clips (bobby pins are a paaaain)

Just Kandyse: Love this!! I've never tried it that way!

Tanishala Frost: This method makes sense to me and easier. I can’t stand the other way cause no matter what it keep falling down and drives me crazy. You have a new subbie ❤️

Marie Brewer: Nice hair and information ... I have natural hair and use a satin scarf when sleeping. Great video about protecting our hair charissechristine23!  Hugs, Ms. M

JoAnnie A: You're really good at explaining. Great vid!

- 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 -: Loving this method never tried it before

Dog Scott: This might work for me...my hair is very fine but dense, and easily damaged. I've been trying to find ways to wrap my hair at night, because I think that's where I get most of my damage, but every other wrapping technique requires you to wrap your hair all the way around one side of the head, and my fine hair would never stay put, even in a scarf.

laura palomarez: Thank you! After watching multiple videos on YouTube your version was the easiest for me.

Fatima Farmer: Beautiful hair! Loving your channel

Giulia: fantastic! I have really thin hair (my complexion is kind of palish mediterranean, I'm Italian) and especially now that I cut them to a medium lenght they tend to get curly at the ends at night and I don't like it at all! But now I know how to do. Thanks <3

Dreya Nelson: I like this method so much better than the old traditional way of wrapping! Which is damaging to edges. This way is so much more comfortable and gives the exact same results

Jasmine Selena B.: This was incredulously helpful! My Betty Spaghetti strands appreciate you!!!

Calisa Hardy: Well, that was easy! Been looking for a quick easy method----thanks!

CandaceVon TheMua.: I've done this method and every morning my ends are krimmped... And it never stays flat but I hate the original beehive wrap bc it makes my edges sit up on one side but the other is layed and Slayed. It's like I went against the grain on one side.

TwoLaLa: Interesting technique!..I've never seen it done that way before :)

Janet STEPHENS: Thank you so much I am definitely going to try. I was always finding ways to keep my hair neat n finally I HV found out.

San: I'm so glad I found your channel. This is great. Thank you for sharing!

Stephanie Wolf: The only way I can actually wrap my hair.. thank you!!!!

_kellyxoxo: I needed this video.. Wrapping my hair made my scalp really sore when taking it out n i hated the way it looked afterwards.. All i need is some clips! By the way your hair looks really healthy! loving your videos/vlogs from The Bahamas ♥

Alexandra Cole: OMG this is so smart y have I never thought to use hair clips to hold my hair in place. Wow this video just saved me litteraly 10 min at night now.

ladynefertitibk: I love that method it's so easy to do.

Ebony Wilkes: I'll try this method next time I get a wrap too! Instead of wrapping it because one side does look flatter than the other. What made you choose this method? If you don't mind me asking :)

Anne Lee: Your skin is looking so good

Myriah Owen: thank you so much I tried so many other wrap styles without success this is the  ONLY one that worked

Lucky Lucky: You saved my life sis! Thank you soooooooo very much

Rozzie Mo: I use dry wrap method, wrapping hair around the crown of the head. I've found I don't like my hair in the groove behind the ear all night. Causes a bend in the style at that point when I comb in the morning. Seems your method would be preferred if you want more volume the next day. I don't start getting volume until the 3-4 day after a fresh press. I'm not relaxed.

nadia albert: It works doing it for years ❤️

Tam Tam: omg. I thought I was the only one who wrapped their hair this way. I started doing it this way becuz I got lazy lol

Vanessa Maria: This was really helpful. Thank You

appleandeve1022: hi charisse!i find your technique really easy, thanks! by the way where do you buy your head scarf? :)

TifaL20: omg, thats so much easier than combing my hair around my head.

22 Strings: Thank you so much !!! Helps me a lot

TianaG: This method looks so much easier than what other people have showed me. It takes me like 45 minutes just to ALMOST get it tied up correctly. I'll try this though.

Tieranni Monet: This is genius!! Thank you!

4waytrip: You are the best because I was trying to fix my hair but I couldn't so I just had to search up something and you helped me a lot thank you

rei0fsunshine: I've never seen this methood before it looks soooooo much easier then the way I was taught

prettykyra12: im definitely gonna try this method to prevent one side looking totally different than the other if you wrapped it all one way

Destinie Robinson: Your hair is everything!

Shayenne Wilmans: Your hair is super pretty! Do you moisturize and seal every day?

Betty Millz: girl! thank u i'm gonna use this method cause lord knows i can't wrap my hair for shit

Bejaye: What if your hair is too short or uneven to wrap it around your head? Do you recommend wrapping it differently?

Erika Earley: I used to wrap my hair like this and it was long and healthy... then started to wrap my hair around and now my hair is breaking at the edges and shoulder length. going back to cross wrapping!

Luna: Do you need to remove the clips or is it just for comfort? :)

teeahrahahnet: Genius. My edges fell out the regular way

Kay D: damn it after all them years of actually having pretty long hair and never thought about this no one ever showed me this

Kayla Howard: 31 years well 19 years of combining my owm hair i never got this down thank you

Sabinne Charles: does it stay like that overnight or does it come out?

Andreia Naiara Iris Da Silva: Me gusta, de ésta manera es bien sencillo gracias.
