Hi guys welcome back to my channel today's video is going to be a detailed, knotless braid tutorial and i'm going to be showing you guys the technique that i use to install knotless braids on my clients. This video is pretty long, but it's very detailed and the more you watch the more you can understand what i'm doing so that you can practice. So i'm going to start off with five. That'S four four pieces of hair. It doesn't really matter how much hair you choose to add. It'S all up to the braider um, the more hair you add, the bigger the braid, the less the smaller the braid for this size, which i would say is about medium size. I would stick to about four to six pieces and it'll give the braid enough stability. So i'm going to start off by parting off a section and i'm going to take a little bit of edge control and i'm going to put it in the part and along the base of the section of hair, so you're going to want to comb the hair. In every direction so down to the side up and to the other side, just so that the hair isn't sticking to the scalp and i've also used just a little edge control a little bit of shine and jam. But i try not to use too much on my mannequin head because it does cause build up, which means i have to wash her more often and now we're gon na split that section of hair into three pieces. It should be equal sized pieces. So this is where you're going to need to pay attention. So, as you can see, my right hand is holding the far most right piece and using this technique, your index finger and your thumb are going to be doing most of the work here and in my left hand i have the middle piece and the left piece. Now i can only speak from a right hand perspective because i'm right-handed so you're going to use your index finger and anchor the hair to the scalp. So you have a good grip and then you're going to take your thumb and go underneath the middle piece and grab the left piece with your index finger and thumb. So then you're just going to do the same thing to the other side. You'Re going to take that piece and use your index finger to anchor down the hair to the scalp, use your thumb to go underneath the middle piece and grab the foremost right piece. This is basically just a braid, but if you didn't know now, you know now, i'm also going to take the weave extra hair extension. Whatever you want to call it, i'm going to use my index finger and thumb to create a loop and i'm going to take that loop and place it in between the index and thumb of my left hand and then you're going to place the real hair over The fake hair and you're going to want to put your index finger right in the middle of the base of the hair and then keep braiding. I hope this makes sense. I feel like you, can't necessarily learn everything from just looking at it. You kind of got to be hands-on, so yes watching this video, you might be like. Oh i've got it, but you've actually got to sit down and try to do it. You know what i mean so you're always going to want to add the hair on the right side. Well, at least this is what i follow. Other people have added it on both sides only on the left side, but my rule of thumb is to add the hair in on the right side. With my right hand, i feel like i have more control and it's just the way i find the easiest. I know my heart, so the rest of this video is just going to be straight repetition. I'M going to be doing the same thing on the remaining pieces of hair, so sit back, relax watch it because the best way to learn, of course, is to watch it. First then practice i practice what i preach and get not sure what you lost, but i'm what you mean. I know my heart: okay y'all. So these are the finished knotless braids and i'm not perfect. My braids aren't perfect, but practice makes perfect. So, of course, i'm gon na keep practicing and you guys should definitely keep practicing and don't give up. It might be challenging at first but hard work and dedication. Okay, if you want your brace to look good, you got ta practice, it's that plain and simple, but that is the end of this tutorial. Thank you guys. So much for watching don't forget to hit the subscribe button below to become a part of my youtube family. Bye y'all, you
