Hey guys what's up and see boy Kelly, EDA and welcome back to my channel if you're new here click that subscribe button down below. If you want to get notifications, there's a little bell button down there, that you can click and get notifications anytime. I upload. Usually I upload once a day, but you know what you've always been going through a tough time, so maybe like once a week or something like that here. Also, I just wanted to make a side note. I am going into surgery at the end of the month and I'm hoping that I can have a pretty good amount of videos uploaded before then to keep you guys like company. While I'm healing cuz, I will be out for a couple weeks. I'M not really sure how it's gon na go, but you know we'll see you know obviously I'll make a whole video about like what's going on in that video hope, I don't die Apple weeks ago I uploaded a video about my hair extensions about VP fashion, which I do use regularly. There was kind of like mixed reviews. I noticed a lot of people had different kind of experiences with VP fashion. There was also just like a little bit of hysteria. I think a lot of people have this kind of saw in their head that VP fashion sends like somehow like different hair like more high quality hair to influencers and they send to their customers. I investigated this just a little bit. I'M not like Inspector Gadget here or anything like that, but I did do a little investigating. I compared like. I have six bundles of hair from VP fashion and I compared that with my friends who have either been influencers or they've bought straight from VP fashion, and I really didn't see too much of a difference but yeah. Maybe I wasn't really too clear. In the last video, like I kind of said several times, that, like VP fashion, is good for the price you know like for really really good high quality, like beautiful, seamless, remy, hair you're, probably looking at, like, unfortunately like around $ 1,000, which sucks and that's way Too expensive, which is why I do think that VP fashion is a good alternate if you're paying maybe like 250 to 300, for some pretty thick extensions. You know, depending on the thickness that you order um so yeah, that's what I meant by like. I think it's good for the price. It really is like you're looking at it's around the same as like a hair extensions that you would buy from Sally's. You know the pretty much the same: it's Indian hair and unfortunately, if you're buying the blonde hair like it's been processed, it's been bleached, it has chemicals in it and if you don't take care of it yeah it can definitely get really ratty and really rough really Fast, so that's why I took this opportunity to kind of make a separate video just about how to care for your hair extensions, because, obviously the more you care for your hair extensions and you take the time to kind of brush them. Shampoo them condition them and store them properly, like the longer you're gon na have them, and we want to be able to use them for that like long period of time right. So I'm just gon na do like a really straightforward video of like how I care for my extensions, how I store them, how I wash them even how you dry them can make a huge difference like keep in mind. Your hair, dryer, is still a heat tool and heat tools will do damage on hair, so yeah, it's really really simple stuff, and hopefully this will help you guys out. I know a lot of people don't have too much education when it comes to hair care or like salon care. I guess, if you will most of my best friends are licensed cosmetologist, like my best friend Nina. She does my hair and she gives me a lot of like just like help to understand how to care for my hair and that's why my hair is in such good condition. So I just want to bequeath this knowledge to you and hopefully I'll help. You guys and help you take care of your hair extensions, a little bit better. So I'm going to feature BP fashion for this one. I'M gon na use the hair extensions that I showed you guys last time that I dyed I've, worn them. Maybe a handful of times, maybe like seven times, they're, still in really good condition. I'M gon na show you guys how I wash them dry them store them, and everything like that. I also wanted to show you a couple other sponsors that we got specifically for this video. The links to them are gon na be down below, and I'm really really excited that we got them to sponsor this video super thumbs up. Thank you so much so, let's go ahead and dive into the products and then we'll kind of go and transition into like how to care for the hair. Okay, take it away. Today'S sponsor is vanity plate, and just so you guys know this hairdryer is 50 % off with the link down below you can use the code Kelly hair in all caps to get this for 50 % off. I absolutely love this hairdryer. It'S actually an excellent hairdryer. Dre borrowed it from me and she used it and she was like wow. That'S like the best hairdryer I've ever used. So I actually gave her one there's three different settings for air pressure and three different settings for heat and then, of course, there's a cold shot for styling as well. The nozzle on the head is removable, so you don't have to use the air shot. If you don't want to the other great thing about this, hairdryer is it's super lightweight, because if you're blow-drying, all your extensions, your arm can get really really tired. So yeah, it's really cute. It'S really lightweight it's a great hairdryer for a really really good price. Okay, to start off, you want to make sure that you're rinsing your hair in all cold water like very, very cold as cold as it can be. You don't want to wash the hair too much, because this is not like your hair, so wash it as little as possible just to get the product out of the hair like if you have hairspray in there or anything like that, or just to kind of make Them clean so the first product that I'm going to show you is the shampoo from a hollow butter. So this is a haircare line from Japan. This is the rich moist line, which is the most popular selling, and this is going to be the best for caring for extensions, because moisture is going to be your best bet with maintaining your extensions. I absolutely love this products like it's amazing. I'Ve used to clean my brushes, I've used it to give Toshi a bath and I'm used it for myself as well. So the shampoo is excellent for like not only locking in moisture but helping the color stay. So when you're washing your extensions, you want to make sure that you're actually washing the weft as well, because that fabric there does absorb a little bit of the oil from your scalp. So you want to make sure you get that clean to the weft. Has the most density of hair? You know it's really tightly wound, so it can definitely like hold on to you know a lot of things like products like hair spray, mousse or even just the oils from your hair you. So you really want to make sure you get that washed out. That'S probably gon na be one of the most important things that you do when you're hearing for your hair. So I like to use a lot of shampoo and I really like to go through all the way top to bottom to get everything out. So the entire line is formulated with key ingredients like shea butter African Mango. They even put raw collagen in there, which is crazy each line. It has its own unique ingredients and finishes so this one like some have smooth finishes, and some have like more like a shiny finish, but you can really feel the difference of like moisture. That'S in the hair once you rinse it out like it's so much more soft and smooth just like you can run your fingers through it. So it's also good for detangling too. So here is the conditioner in the conditioners, my favorite part, because this boy smells so freakin good. It'S just crazy to me again. This is part of the same rich moist line. It is the most intense for damage repair formula recommended for like dry damaged or anybody who has like a normal to dry scalp. This guy has about like thirty nine botanical ingredients, which you know it also has like shea butters and stuff like that or even a sigh avocado oil, coconut oil Rose oil, macadamia, nut oil, almond oil, honey, rosemary extract, chamomile extract as people say, chamomile or chamomile. I don't know but yeah, I love the conditioner. It is so rich, so nice and it just makes your hair feel so soft after you're done with it and then, of course, we're gon na finish off with a hair mask from the same rich moist line. I love this stuff. This is the last time I could use it. I was like out completely if you guys want to buy anything from the hollow butter line. The link is gon na be down below. I love this stuff. The the hair bath is really really wonderful and it's probably one of the key things that you want to get to make sure that you're getting as much moisture into your hair as possible. Um everything that I'm recommending is for people of dry scalp. But if you guys have an oily scalp, there's another one called premium scalp that really helps with that, like, I think, there's like a clay in there. That kind of helps absorb the oil and like impurities and things like that. So they have a bunch of different lines for different hair types and things like that. But for extensions you do want to stick with that rich moist products, because it's you have to have moisture in your extensions to keep them alive because it's basically dead hair. So, basically, with a hair mask, I just put you know a pretty good layer into the whole thing and I brush it through with my fingers, making sure to get the ends because that's like probably where it's the most dead and then I kind of just leave It to the side I'll leave it for maybe 20 minutes for ticket for it to kind of like absorb as much moisture as possible and then come back and rinse it okay. So here's my super secret, a not so secret method of how I dry my extensions to make it super easy. Just get a desk or you know your drawers and just slide your extensions inside and then you know these just stay in place and it makes it so much easier to give your extensions like a blowout with a proper round brush. You want to make sure they're kind of like slightly air dried before you go in with the hairdryer and look look at the little lights when you go up and heat, I think that's kind of cute in that cute anyway. So I have a round brush here and you're gon na take one section at a time make sure you brush them before you go in with the round brush, because you're gon na go down basically like this and just kind of hold the nozzle against the brush And kind of go down slowly so, like I said you want to make sure that your extensions have already been kind of towel dried like give them a couple minutes to just like you know, drip dry a little bit. You don't want to go in when they're like totally wet, because if you do that it it'll break the hair and what I mean by that is like when your hair is wet. It is the most fragile it's at its most fragile state. So you want to make sure you kind of like dry it just a little bit before you get in there. You you're gon na end up damaging it way more. If you go in there, when it's like completely wet anyway, you can also use the nozzle to kind of to kind of hold the hair, so you can kind of like go through again and again and again I go through the entire, like weft of hair, like Maybe eight times so you're not gon na get it in just one pass right. You don't want to burn your hair on the way through so going to the next section. You see the other one. I left it damp dry. So just take your time with they don't rush through it. It also helps if you have like a heat protectant into the hair as well. Again, that's gon na help the longevity of the hair but yeah, so this run brush that I have. It has like two different types of bristles. One is like a super soft that almost feels like a natural like boar, hair or something like that. It'S not it's all synthetic and then the longer ones are just like more plasticy. So it just like that combination of different bristles helps keep the hair in place and smooth it as you go through and then once you take it out of the drawer, you want to make sure that you blow-dry the wefts before you put them away for storage And finally, to store your extensions, I would recommend this tiny little bag from VP fashion they're about $ 15. I think on their website, but these are just like essential for keeping your hair clean, safe, like just for flat storage. It'S awesome! It comes on this little finger hook right here, so you could even put it in your closet. If you wanted to, I just hang it on the back of my bathroom door. Cuz I little like hangers there, but yeah you just put it in like there's a little clamp here that holds the hair together and it just keeps it all in one direction, which is pretty important. I used to like braid them before this and they used to always get like tangled, and things like that. So this is a pretty good tool thanks for watching this video, I totally forgot to mention before just as a disclaimer. I am NOT a hair stylist. I am NOT a cosmetologist, but I have been weaving it up for a long time. Okay buddy feel, like I kind of know what I'm talking about. I'Ve been doing weave extensions what-have-you for about ten years and hopefully, if anything, you got a couple of tips and tricks out of this video that you can use for yourself to store your hair extensions, because we all know hair extensions are expensive and it's such a Pain to dye them and read eye them, and everything like that. So so, if you guys liked this video go ahead and give me some feedback, I'm always open to constructive criticism on where you guys like to see this go. Also, if you have more tips, I'm totally open to learning new things about how to care for hair extension. So I guess what yeah boy has another date tonight. So I'm gon na pop my extensions in and then I'm gon na go out subscribe.
