FEATHERLIGHT HAIRSPRAY - R+Co Bleu

Hey guys, it's cheyenne, i'm going to show you guys how to wash your hair with your extensions in and then also just do like a quick everyday blow dry. These are just a few techniques that i found that really work well with having extensions in your hair, and i have gotten quite a bit of comments asking for this video, so i'll be right back, because i need to go shampoo and condition my hair, because i Want to show you guys how i like to blow dry, my hair, with having extensions. I just got out of the shower just washed, my hair and i'm going to put in on a cloud from rnco. It'S a new leave-in treatment spray. So it's great for detangling. It will help rebuild the hair, your hair and the extensions, so i'm just going to spray it in from scalp to ends and then i'm going to go through with my favorite brush my wet brush. So i'm going to start at the bottom and then work my way up to the top. I'M going to teach you guys how i like to blow dry, my hair, when i'm wearing extensions, i'm going to layer on mood swings. So mood swings is going to help smooth out the hair. It will protect the hair from the heat and then it's also going to help protect the hair against the humidity as well. So what i love about it is, it doesn't, have any oil in it. So you can put it right up to the scalp or right up to the extension and it's not going to make the extension slide. It'S not going to weigh down the hair, so i'm just going to go ahead and add it all the way through stop to ends. So i'm going to go in with my dyson blow dryer with the attachment piece to just power dry, my hair extensions. So this is just going to get some of the water out. It'S going to cut a lot of your dry time down like in half, so it's really important to dry the extension part first and then dry the ends. So here we go so i'm focusing on this top just removing some water and cleaning out my hairline. First, i dried my hair. It'S about 80 percent dry. I use the nozzle attachment on my blow dryer to smooth the cuticle down. That'S going to give you a lot more shine and then i like to get in there right at the root area, where the extension is and to dry that area first, so the extension won't slide. So i just put my hair halfway up and i like to split my hair in the back like this and bring these two pieces forward. So i just have like these two little sections to work on at a time, and i am using my dyson blue dryer with the attachment and my dyson round brush. So i'm going to set my hair in the brush and take my blow dryer and finish drawing it in so a little tip here when you're blow drying the blow. Dryer should go parallel with a brush like this rather than on top of the brush. So this can actually burn the hair when you're parallel with your blow-dry iron brush, it's actually going to smooth the cuticle down and give you like a lot of shine and that healthy, looking hair. So i'm placing the brush underneath i'm taking my blow dryer and i'm focusing on getting the blow dryer and the brush parallel together instead of on top of the hair. Here we go so now, i'm going to blow dry the top and i'm going to apply the dallas thickening hairspray from ironco. So i'm going to go right in at the root area. What i love about this is, you can wake up the next day if your hair is flat and just kind of revamp it spray it in at the blow dryer i'm going through and adding it to the top, because i definitely want some volume and then hold To the blow dry, so the dallas thickening hairspray is going to give my hair a lot of volume at the root and help hold the rest of the blow dry. So now i'm going to go in with my round brush again and my blow dryer and just take this front section here all forward. So again, i'm putting the brush in my hair first and then taking my blow dryer with the nozzle attachment and just directing the hair, all down the velcro roller, and this is just a great way to give me like that nice swoop in the front, almost like A curtain fringe look without committing to the haircut, so here we go so now, i'm going to finish with featherlight hairspray from blue. This is a really lightweight hairspray. It has a little bit of like an oil to it. So it's not going to feel sticky or crunchy in the hair. It'S going to just leave you with like a really soft finish. It'S also great for those little flyaways. So what i like to do is spray my hand and then just pat the top. The oil from the hairspray will actually soften the hair. A lot of people have those like little wirey hairs right through here. It will just go in and like flatten those right out.
