Is it just mirrors the intro a little quicker? Now i don't know. I felt like i had like at least five minutes before: what's up everybody, so sorry, i'm late um, i just had to get some last minute stuff together, um and yeah, but we're here we made it so i was absent last week um. I do greatly apologize for that um life just kind of took over. If you saw my um journey to wellness vlog, you know it was just a lot of stuff going on that particular day and i just couldn't get home, prepare a meal and get on in a reasonable time and still have time to go to sleep. So i just decided to just like not come on uh last week, so i told y'all i was going to be making myself a priority and putting myself in my well-being first and that's, unfortunately, what it looks like sometimes so um i'll definitely be sure to let You all know through um the community tabs next time, i'm just telling you that day i was just completely like exhausted and over it. I just i didn't want to look at the computer. I didn't want to look at social media. I i was just upset so um yeah, that's what happened um but yeah. I'M good today was today was a good day um. First, before we get into anything um, happy belated mother's day to all the mothers out there. I know we missed um y'all for the mother's day. I know we have plenty of great mothers in our afro tribe, so i just wanted to give y'all y'all shout out and acknowledgement also shout out and congrats to all the uh graduates this year. I'M pretty sure we got quite a few of y'all up in the chat. Our apple tribe is full of educated black women, so shout out to y'all uh, make sure y'all don't sit on those student loans, make sure y'all make them payments, because if you don't you're gon na be like me and that [ __ ] is just gon na Rack the [ __ ] up but uh. Yes, congratulations and best of luck to all your future endeavors and yeah. So let's go ahead and get into um the watch party. We have kind of a lengthy little intro here, so i'm gon na try to get through this as quickly as possible, but just just work with me here um. I see y'all commenting on the headband. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This is kind of like my new thing now, like i'm, i'm very much obsessing over uh head jewelry um. I think it kind of makes you look real regal and it just kind of works with the beard and everything, speaking of which i've been getting a lot of cop compliments on my beard before in the beginning. I was just getting it from the men's. I mean not the men's, but the women's, but now it's like a lot of the men's are noticing it and they're like complimenting me and like just like mentioning it they're like. Oh, i wish i could do that. I had this one hispanic guy look at my beard. He was like damn. I wish i could do it if i, if i could i'd lock up my beard like that, and i was like oh okay. Well, i mean so what can i say? Oh actually, now that i mention it, i did see one guy. I couldn't tell from a distance if he had his bear hairs, braided or if he had locks but just be on the lookout, because i'm starting to see more men experiment with their beards, and i don't know if it's just because i'm doing it now. But i also started to notice, like some dudes at the skating rink, letting they they bear curl up a little bit more. You know what i'm saying like they. Let they nap up a little bit, so i'm like okay, every everybody trying to count this down, but okay, hey uh! So yes uh first order of business next week and i wish i would have came on last week. So i could give y'all a bit more heads up for all the channel members and patreon members. If you're a channel member on the hair channel on here or on my gaming channel, you are welcome to join us next saturday, which is on the 21st. The registration, page and that'll tell you all the information about what we're painting and the items that you will need for the sip and paint and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out leave a comment. Uh, send me a message dm me on instagram on discord or something if you're on discord, the link is on discord as well. I have an event posted under the server a lot of confusion with the discord, so i have two discords. I have a notification discord where you can't do. Any posts is literally just to notify you whenever i upload make a post or go live um on both my hair and gaming channel. So if you're on there you're not going to have access to the link, the private discord is called the afro tribe salon. So in that server, that's where we do the movie nights and you can connect with me and other members. I haven't been as active on there lately because i've been so busy but um our last sipping paint was so much fun. So if you have the opportunity to join us, please do i would love to see everyone's um interpretation of the portrait that we were. We will be painting and when we're finished, i want to get your um your paintings a picture of your painting, so we can share it on the following watch party: okay, uh. So that's that again, that is on saturday um, the may 21st, and i believe this set for eight o'clock. So it's not too too late. I believe so it's either 8 or 8 30. I should be on top of these things: um, okay, so next thing to uh talk about here, um, so i'm pretty sure a couple you noticed on the starting student screen. It seems like every week our do not request list gets more and more updated. So we have a new person added to the list um and that is miss mickey the barber okay. She is now on the do not request lists and um. I don't know the issue that sis had with being featured um, but she didn't. She didn't even say anything: she didn't leave a comment. She didn't leave a message. Nothing. She just gave me a straight up strike, so i have a whole strike on my channel because of her so um. I sent her email to get more clarification or to try to you know, fix the situation, but i haven't gotten a reply, so it is what it is so don't request her all right, moving right along uh, so um with me doing this whole health journey to Health and wellness and everything i feel like i am yeah. I know i know it's, it's it sucks it sucks. It is what it is, though, and i actually need to go back um because i feature her videos a couple of times on a few live streams. So i'm like, i hope she don't give me multiple strikes, because that would just be like overkill and you know like three strikes you're out, that's it so i'm like. I don't even know what the problem is like. Was she offended that i said something about her work like okay, um, so in regards to my eczema, i've been um just doing a lot of reflecting and things and actually by mistake, i i feel, like i've kind of figured out what's been causing my eczema um. I don't, i don't necessarily think that it's diet related. However, i do think that the diet can um influence. How intense or bad a flare-up is. I feel like what i've been experiencing for the past couple of years has been a form of contact dermatitis and that's basically when you, your skin, comes in contact with something that you're allergic with, and it has a reaction to it, whether it be breaking out in Hives getting itchy developing a rash for me. It was this hydraulic eczema. Now i don't know this for certain, and i'm still trying to figure this out and the only way i'll be able to know for certain is to wait it out, because i'm still healing from um a really bad flare-up that i had a couple weeks ago. But ever since i stopped coming in contact with the thing i think it is, i haven't had a single blister pop up like not one and i'm like. I, i pray to god. That'S exactly what it is, because if i could just cut that out and get my hands back like i can get my life together, i can be up in the salon full time like i i feel, like my whole. Life has just kind of been on pause for like the past two and a half years because of this condition so um just just cross your fingers, you know, send me your prayers and thoughts and positive energy and everything - and i i hope, that's what it is. I feel like every time i kind of do this like this is what it is. This is what it is. I always like shoot myself in the foot, but like so far, it's like it's, it's crazy! It'S it's like nothing! So once i know for certain i'll be sure to get on and update you all and um explain that whole situation, but i just wanted to let y'all know that so um, it's gon na be a few weeks um, because it takes a long time for your Skin to like heal and regenerate and everything, so i won't know for certain until this old layer of blisters completely disappears and go from there all right now, um we have an unboxing of sorts here. Let me pull this over here. Somebody sent me something and i've been sitting on this for almost a whole month and i just wanted to uh do the unboxing, so it comes from knobby and co, that's n-a-b-h-i and he already opened the box. She wants to act like oh, i repackaged it. So you can, like you know, act like you're opening it for the first time i don't know what's in it, but i'm like girl. If you give me a little commercial to play, that's even better! All right so next thing on the list: um, we just have one more thing, so i know y'all been hearing all this talk about this, this client from hell that came to the salon the other week um. So let me let me just give you the run down with that. So henny called me when, when did she come in, she called me that friday night and she was like yo somebody's coming in tomorrow. It'S a detangling service. They got matted hair. Do you want to take it, and i was like i was thinking about it and i'm sitting i'm looking, i'm like detangling services alone. I don't know if my hands could like deal with being up in them gloves for so long. I just don't know, and then i was like i'm supposed to be doing my liver flush tomorrow. So i'm not even supposed to be working. It'S my oh! It wasn't. Even on friday it was saturday she was coming on a sunday which is my off day. I specifically scheduled my liver flush to end on that sunday and monday, so that i wouldn't have to deal with leaving the house. So i'm like i'm supposed to be doing my liver flush tomorrow, like i ain't got time for that. But then she mentioned that um. You know she knows that this is the off day, so you know you get to charge more for the inconvenience and i was like, and i was like a few hours couldn't hurt right. So then i was like. Let me let me see what the situation is, that she has a picture of something, so she sent me a picture in a video of the woman showing her hair in his maddest state. Hey everybody! Thank you. So much for all the compliments she sent me. The uh, the the picture and video that she sent her and it was like her hair - was like divided in half and it was like two sections that was like just matted up and it didn't look too bad on the video. So i was like okay. Maybe i can, you know, go ahead and you know make it happen like run through it, real, quick, the longest time it's ever take for me to like detangle somebody's matted, hair um was seven hours and their hair was matted for, like months like, i think she Said it was matted for at least nine months um. I have a client that doesn't detangle her hair for a whole year and i get through her hair in an hour or less so, but she has really thin hair because she she lets it mat up and tangle but anyways. So i wasn't expecting it to be any longer than that, so i was like okay cool um, i guess i'll come in tomorrow and so she scheduled the appointment and i showed up - and i was i had my station ready - had all my supplies ready to go And she told me she was like they're coming from new york, so they're like going to be like leaving the airport and literally like coming straight to the salon. I was like: okay, cool, that's, that's fine, and so i'm waiting. It was running a little late, which is cool. They finally show up and it's her and her husband, which at first i thought it was her son. But that's that that's just that ain't even fun, [ __ ], that's legit! What i thought it was okay, but she shows up and he comes in the door. I greet him. She comes in the door. I greet her and literally off the bat like as she's walking in bags in tow before she even set her bags down. She says my hair slow down slow down, i'm like god, damn she's high and strong. So i'm like we're not gon na do this here. I need you to sit down and and then we'll we'll have a a proper consultation and discussion, but like hi, how are you i'm narada nice to meet? You have a seat and let's, let's go from there but off the rim. I'M like: oh, okay, okay, okay! So she sits down - and i think at this point her hair was wrapped up. So she takes off the wrap and i see the two portions of hair that was matted and she starts telling me what happened and as she's talking to me, i'm inspecting her here and then she came all the way from new york. She couldn't find someone closer well, here's the thing um between her not being able to find somebody. They were pressed for time like she had somewhere to be the very next day, and i think she was going to her daughter's engagement party or something like that hold on. Excuse me real, quick cook. How are you talking about lowballing? I ain't even talk about the price, yet chill all right so um, so she yeah she tells me she shampooed her hair with this medicated shampoo that she's been using forever, but for some reason last night she uses it and it mattes up her hair, like just Mattes it up and i'm like okay um so yeah she couldn't. I guess she couldn't find anyone in new york to do it right then, and there and then i guess, like she had to book an appointment like weeks out in advance or something like that. So um, i think her daughter, searched and found my video on youtube and contacted the salon that way, and so she made her way to our salon to get her hearing done. Yeah it was, it was well, you know what i believe it because her hair was um severely over processed, and i don't know if she just didn't know what the [ __ ] she was doing but baby, and i i tell y'all it's it's, not the afro Cakey, hair that mattes up and tangles like that, it's that loose wavy, curly silky, looking hair, it's very deceptive that hair will mat up really easily. So i i believe it was the event for her daughter in georgia. No, she was over in new york. She she she came down and she was going right back so um so yeah. She um she's, telling me it's the shampoo i'm inspecting her hair and i'm looking at it and it's like i'm on just one side. But it's like a solid mass like it is hard. It is firm in a moving in a folding. It ain't, none of that. It'S just hard. She said on the side that i was looking at, that she had been working on that for like six hours prior to and she got like some of her hair out and i was like. Oh okay, you did a pretty good job because i could see like a lot of her ends was out from the the mass. So i complimented her on that. The other side i looked at it and it was just as bad, if not as bad as the first sign. So i was like okay this i this i bit off a little bit more than i could shoot. Honestly, i didn't think i was gon na be able to handle all that in the short time frame that i was expecting, and so we get to talking about um starting the service. So then, i inform her of the service price now when it comes to detangling services, i charge by the hour and being that this is an off day and due to inconveniences on my off day i um i'll. Let her know what exactly what the service cost would be per hour and it was definitely with a well beyond the well not well beyond, but it was. It was in the three digits okay, so it was not cheap. So i told her what the service was. She was like no, no, no, no, that's not what we discussed. It'S not what we discussed and i was like okay. Well, what? What did you discuss? Because i wasn't there for that conversation because haiti set up the whole appointment. So i'm like what was the discussion? She was like, i was told this price, this price and i'm not paying it, i'm not paying that and i'm like okay. Well, let's, let's just call her right now, let's get this situated and we can go from there. So i call hannie i'm like yo uh. I told her the price is this she's saying the price is that she was like okay uh? No, she was like no, i told her what it is i was like. You know what don't even worry about it, i'm on my way, i'm coming. She was literally on the way to come to the salon. Anyway, she said she got some type of weird feeling or whatever, so i was like okay cool, so i was like well she's on her way. So we can, you know, discuss this when she gets here. The husband was like well look, whether it's this price or that price we we need to go ahead and get started with undoing her hair, and i was like: oh okay, that's fine! Now here's another thing, though so i'm thinking the mother or the wife called henny about scheduling the service. It wasn't even her. It was her daughter that scheduled the service that much i didn't even know like. He called me and told me about the whole service situation, but i didn't know all of that. So it kind of put me in a very um a very unsure and uncomfortable position. I don't like having those type of conversations like because i don't know what they discuss. I know what she told me, but what you're telling me i i can't verify or deny, because i don't know what was said or what wasn't said so in avocado it was just like too many middlemen in this process. So i didn't want to like jump the gun, so i was like i'ma just let her come in and dictate what it is and what it is so, okay, cool, we uh, we not starting until we agree on the price. Well, look i was like. I need to get the [ __ ] up out of here, so i i got ta figure this out, whatever whichever it is gon na be. We need to figure this out and i and henry said she was coming. So i knew if any was coming. [ __ ] was gon na get handled either way because she wasn't gon na. Let [ __ ] fly um, but how can you get started if you're unsure you're getting paid it wasn't that it it? The husband and the wife were clearly on two different. They weren't in agreeance they weren't on the same wavelength. It was obvious the husband really just wanted to like get his wife's hair, fizz and fix, and the wife was just like she. She just was real adamant about the price and i think he was just. He was just grateful that we were able to like work on her hair and get her hair unmatted. You know so they they weren't really in agreeance on this, so i kind of saw where he was coming from and annie was only like 10 minutes away, so it wouldn't have made a big deal either way. It went so and and then also the fact that they took a flight out to come to this a lot i was like: okay. Well, either way. It goes. I know they're willing to pay some money because ain't, a lot of people go and book a flight. The day before to come to a salon and not pay for a service like i don't i don't know too many people, that's gon na. Do that so um any shows up as i'm starting to work on her hair. It was like 15 minutes or so and when i started working through her hair, i was like oh [, __ ]. This is, i don't know if i have to work through this a little bit more, but this is not what i thought it was going to be. What i tell you that hair was solid like it was like it was like this. It was like it, it don't move like it was. It was hard it was like i couldn't like get the comb through nothing, it was solid, um, so hindi shows up and we talk about the whole price situation. We clear that up. The price is what what i say it is and they're like. Okay, that's what it is fine cool whatever so henny asked me she's like do you need me to jump in, because this is looking like more than we thought it was, and i was like yeah. I do because i i need to get out of here in a reasonable time, so she was like okay, cool, so henny jumps in and um she working on one side, i'm working on the other, so yeah it was solid as a rock it was it was. It was, it was not moved what in the world does she have in her hair? So here's the thing the woman's hair was really really long. She had at least 20 inches of hair and when her hair got matted up, it drew up, drop drop, drop drop. So all of that length got compacted into this singular mass on the side of her head um and that's what made it worse. Shampoo did that. I don't know if y'all use medicated shampoo like prescribed medicated shampoo, but that [ __ ] is real drying. That [ __ ] will dry out your hair. That [ __ ] will fray out your cuticles that [ __ ] will match your hair up. If you, if you don't know what you're doing so, um i'm working, i'm working an hour, goes by two hours goes by and i'm still not making a breakthrough with this. This mass of hair - i'm like at this point - i should be getting into this mask and like breaking it down, but i'm just like getting at the surface at this point like i did get some of the the hair out, but it wasn't enough that i was Happy or content with with the time that was spent on it did she have a handful of she had white people here um, i don't know how full her hair was, because it was all just kind of clumped together yeah she was free for me. Now. Here'S another thing which, when she first came in and we first started the service, i asked her if i could um take pictures of the before and after she said no, and i was like okay, i you know i just want to document you know so that Other people can see my work and find you know just know that i offered this service or whatever and she was like. No, no, no, no, no, no, i'm famous where i'm from too many people know me too many people know me, i i don't feel comfortable. I was like okay, that's that's fine. I i respect people's privacy. You don't want to be recorded, that's perfectly fine. I just wanted to ask permission, and you said no, so that's cool, so that was it and i was like [ __ ]. No, nobody know you. I thought nobody know your ass, so um as i'm working a couple hours in she's, um, she's sitting there and she's like playing with her hair. That'S out and just you can see she's just so attached to her hair. I'M, like you know it's your hair. You know, but the way she was like playing with it was like it was. I don't know it was weird so um she starts feeling around to like feel how much progress is being done right and i'm like. Okay cool. You know it's your head. It'S your hair um and at first when i was detangling, i was just using a conditioner, water and conditioner and when i felt like that wasn't enough to like soften the hair, i grabbed me a fresh jar of that african pride pre shampoo and i started just Like slathering, the [ __ ] up in her hair slathering it in there saturating it wetting the hair and just letting it sit and soften it up, and even even that i can feel it soften up the hair, but it was still really difficult. So let me let me try to it was like her hair. I can get a cord here. So imagine she got all this like the hair right and it's like this one massive hair. Her hair is like looped in like this tangled looped in tangled again looped and tangled it's like loops everywhere. So it's like there's. I can't find where the end starts and where the beginning begins, and whenever you detangle hair, you have to detangle from the ends and work your way up, like you can't, i can't cut into the middle of the strand to loosen and detangle it. It has to be from the ends and then i have to dismantle it from from the ends up so because her hair was so long and looped in and out like that, it just was, it was all over the place it was. It was just very difficult, so, i say honest to say: i'm sorry, i'm all over the place, she's grabbing her hair, she's feeling and then she starts making comments and she said something to the effect of my this. Wasn'T this big before this? This wasn't this big. This was smaller and she's talking about the the massive hair right and i'm like um. No, it wasn't smaller, it's it's impossible for me to make it bigger. That'S i'm breaking it down. I said if anything, what you're feeling what you must be mistaking is, as i'm undoing the the matted hair, it's causing the the mass of hair to spread out and open up a bit more. So in that regard it might feel like it's becoming larger or that, but it's it's not i. I can't make your hair more tangled than you already made. It basically is what i'm trying to tell her. So i'm like okay, you know i i don't. I don't that kind of brought me the wrong way, but i'm like she knew she don't know me. You know she don't know my expertise, my work or whatever. So i'm just reassuring her and that's gon na be that and we gon na move on, i'm gon na keep doing this to take the service. So she mentions it again like later on down like like an hour later, an hour or two later she mentions it again. She'S like this. This was not this big. When i came here this was it wasn't this matted before so. At this point, the only thought that ran through my mind is well [, __ ]. If you know what the [ __ ] you doing and if you can take this [ __ ] out why the [ __ ] you sitting in my chair. But not i can't do that because i'm a professional and that's not good professionalism. So i politely explained to her again ma'am. It'S uh, it's impossible for me to make your roots more tangled, because the mass of hair is matted at your roots. The only thing i'm really dealing with is your ends and, as you can see, i've gotten a great portion of your ends out. So again you are mistaken and your hair is not more matted than when you came in she's like i just i just. I just feel like it's not it's taking too long. I feel like it's taking too long. Well, man, it's going to take as long as it takes honestly like [ __ ]. You like, like i [ __ ], did this to you? Don'T don't don't come at me like i did this [ __ ] to you, it was the ungratefulness it was like. I was like [ __ ]. Are you trying to sit here and say that i've been sitting here playing in your [ __ ], hair for three [ __ ] hours and making the [ __ ] more tangled? You think i want to be here man. This is my off day. I should be at home flushing my [ __ ] insides out. Instead, i'm sitting here with you and you got the nerve to question me like i don't know what the [ __ ] i'm doing so again i let it go. I brushed it off because that's that's what i i do. I i i like to avoid conflict and when possible, i just like to you know, inform the client about what they could be mistaken about, but sometimes even when you explain things to them, they just refuse to to listen to it or believe it so hold on. I'M getting a little congested, yeah legit like i was like i need to get home and like do this enema like i'm supposed to do this [ __ ] at three o'clock here it is like one o'clock and i'm still here playing in this woman's head, the [ __ ], so another hour goes by and she calls her daughter or her granddaughter. Rather, she calls her granddaughter and she's talking to her now now, while she's in the salon she's having conversations with her husband, who's sitting right there on the couch across me, and you know she's speaking in her native tongue, because she's egyptian, but let her tell it She'S, not egyptian she's, italian and but ma'am you black, okay, like you black uh, she literally tried to argue with haiti, because we literally saw her natural curl pattern popping through and she was like. No, no, no, my hair is soft. My my hair is not curly. My hair is soft, so she gon na pull up this old ass [ __ ] picture back when she was like 24 in bed like when her body was snatching. Her hair was laid she's like did you see? Do you see my hair was straight? It was soft, you don't know what you're talking about ma'am, it's clear: they ran a round brush and a flat iron through that. That'S not you, whatever we didn't even waste our time with them, so she called her her granddaughter and, like i said, while she's in the salon she's talking to her husband in arabic or whatever. Now i don't speak arabic and neither does henny. However, arabic was actually henny's first language and even though she don't speak the [ __ ], no more that don't mean she can't pick up on some of the terms and words and things so was she wasn't she a model? They straightened it? She probably was but um what was i gon na say: oh yeah yeah, so yeah she's talking to her husband or whatever, and i don't know like something about it, just felt off. You know like how you be in the nail salon and you can tell like the uh the the asian nail techs are like talking [ __ ] about you. I i kind of was feeling that energy. I was feeling it, but i couldn't put my finger on it because i'm like i don't speak this language, but something about this is just off like i'm working through her hair, and there are times where i'm pulling and causing her discomfort and pain. It'S it's matted. As [ __ ], you came in with a [ __ ] bird's nest. It'S going to hurt at some point and every time i hurt her, i made sure to apologize. I was like i'm sorry, i'm i apologize. I'M sorry. So you know he's hurting her as well as she's working through her hair and she's. Saying i'm sorry, i'm sorry, but this is, i got ta get through this hair. I'M sorry. This is necessary, whatever, whatever, whatever so she's, just getting restless getting uncomfortable and it's just. I i i don't know it was like it was like she wanted us to feel like we had the privilege of like working through her [ __ ] bird's nest on her head. Like you, i i should feel privileged and grateful that i'm able to even touch her hair like ma'am. Oh fool with this nappy ass, [, __ ]. I deal with real. Naturally, this [ __ ] nappy as [ __ ], a [ __ ] shampoo got your hair matted, like it's been madder for two three [ __ ] years like get the [ __ ] out of here. So at this point i noticed henny's recording on her phone. She got her phone recorded and she asked she was like. Are you? Are you taking pictures of my hair because i told him i told him. I don't want pictures taken of my hair because i'm famous and people know me, and i i i don't want that and she's like no. No. I would never do that. I wouldn't record you. Without your permission, she ain't taking no pictures the best. She was definitely recording that conversation now. Instead, when i, when i saw her tapped the phone and i saw that [ __ ] recorded, i was like okay, sis we see each other, so this is this. Is this? Is security? Okay? We weren't like recording her to, like you, know like post this online or something, and you know like defame her in her character, whatever we're posting this for our own security, so that, if something were to happen, she don't run back and tell people. Oh, they ripped out my hair and they didn't know what they were doing and they overcharged me and they this and that like. No, it's all on. It'S all on tape, says we all hear you uh um. No, you ain't about to play these games um. We we we specify what the price is. I'M telling her every hour that goes by i'm like all right. This one hour is two hours. It'S three hours we're on hour, four we're on five hours that, like i'm, telling her as we're going so ain't, no ain't! No disputing nothing, especially when you got it on tape, um and then also too henny got a big family and she grew up muslim and you know it's a lot of them: muslim dudes that be speaking, arabic and stuff. So it ain't nothing for her to like press play and let one of her dudes like listen to it and tell her what the [ __ ] she's saying, but i already know what the [ __ ]. She was saying. I know what the [ __ ]. She was talking mad [, __ ] about me. She was probably cursing me, the [ __ ] out in her native tongue and i'm gon na tell you what send it off for me. This will set it off. Y'All should have cameras in the shop. Oh, don't worry, we do um. So this is what this is. What stood out for me so she's on the camera phone she's, video calling her granddaughter and she's talking to her, and i guess she's relaying the uh her experience with getting the detangling done at this point, she's over five hours in andy's breaking down and working through Her tangles, but she's still got a good portion to go she's like literally halfway through at this point on with her side me. On the other hand, i probably got into it like maybe thirty percent like i got like. Maybe thirty percent of the nonsense goes out, but it's still a solid mass or whatever so as she's on the phone there. She goes shows her on my side, where i'm working on [ __ ], i'm like okay, the [ __ ] like she just she just going to [ __ ] into arabic. I'M like okay, not sure what the [ __ ] this is about, but i i mine's my business. I just do hair. I shouldn't be up in her phone conversation anyway, so i continue picking and pulling and and snatching at her hair and she found like what really got it for me was her on the video phone, pointing like pointing as i'm working yeah like what do you? What are you trying to say man and you d, you do an artist in my face like i'm, not standing right here in front of you, so she finally gets off the phone and she's quiet for the most part like we was having conversation, we were conversing With her for a while or whatever, but then um, you know after five hours ain't really much to talk about, so she got quiet and she was just sitting there. I'M like. I'M. Sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry! I'M sorry like i'm, i'm sorry! I apologize i'm sorry. I don't, i don't want to hurt you ma'am, i'm sorry, but this it's it's really bad, i'm sorry! So it was this one time i was trying to get through this tangle and it was like it was like this big tangle. I was like, if i get through this, i can open up this this massive hair up, so i pulled in snatch and the comb slipped and it tugged at her her roots or whatever, and she went. The [ __ ] off in arabic, like sis, was on 10. She was yelling at the top of her lungs to her husband going the [ __ ] up like her voice is elevated. His voice is calm and it's calming and he's trying to relax and calm. Her down she's, not different, i'm like wow, i'm like when had he pulled and tugged at your hair, because i know she was [, __ ] your head up, because i saw her when she pulled and took me her on her side. She ain't get all this fever. She ain't get all this energy, but i do it one time. Maybe two or three i mean it's been five hours. [ __ ] is bound to happen. I do it two or three times and she going clear. The [ __ ] off, like how dumb do you think i am ma'am, i'm not stupid. I don't need to speak arabic to know that you talking bad [, __ ] like and then what really i was like. I took a step back and i was like just you're in control. Thank you, khadijah, i'm like you're in control. Just you know just just work through it, but what really got me is as i'm working and and going through her hair. She takes her hand and slaps it on the spot, where i'm working and literally just stops me from working. She literally just stops me from working, and i i i stood dumbfounded for a second i'm like. So what am i supposed to do because do you want to touch your head, or do you want this tangle to come out like what what the [ __ ]? Are you doing? What are you doing like so i i stopped, and i i think at this point, like my level of passivity, was just over the top, so i i just politely put my comb down on the station and i walked away because i'm like clearly you don't want Me in your head: clearly you don't, i don't know what she got against me, but she has something against me and i don't i didn't do nothing to her. I didn't say nothing to her. Clearly she feeling some type of way. Clearly she feel, like. I don't know what i'm doing and like what am i doing here, because i it's five hours in i'm still trying to i'm trying my hardest to help this woman say like salvage whatever hair she can have left on her head after the fact and she's. Just like bitching and moaning and crying and complaining every [, __ ] step of the way i have never in my life, seen somebody so [, __, ] entitled so rude and so disrespectful and for it to be so blatant and conspicuous like it was just. It was unfathomable, the the amount of disrespect was just immense, and at that point i had just had enough, and i was like, let me just let me go. Let me go in the bathroom real quick. Let me collect myself cause like what is she doing like she, she doing the [ __ ] most and so i'm in the bathroom, and i'm just like trying to gather myself, because i i had every intentions of coming back and finishing the service, because i definitely Didn'T want to leave any to do the service by herself. Um annie came over in the bathroom and she was like. Are you good and i was like yeah, i'm good, i'm just blowing my nose. She was like. No. Are you good because we can end this right now and i said [ __ ] nah, i i ain't doing her hair. She was like all right cool come with me, so we went back over and she explained to them. She was like um he's not going to be able to continue with her service. Um he's decided to step out because, even though neither of us speak arabic, we both, and he specifically, can feel and see your body language, and we can see that you are very uncomfortable with him being in your head and she was like no. No, no, no and then her husband's like no! No. Why why? Why do you think that no, he was just like being dismissive and gaslighting me and she's like nah? Why do you think that, like no, she was just saying that now, y'all just have two different techniques, and you know like, like her she's going through her part faster than you're going through yours, and i'm like. Oh i'm supposed to feel better about that. Okay - and so i was like i just let hannie take the lead because, like again like i said, even when i tried to explain things to her, she made a point to like just not even it went in one air and out the other, so annie's explaining

uberhaute_naturalz: The irony of it all is the fact that people complain about phthalates in hair products but still use curlformers, plastic bags etc

Célestine Toussaint: Alot of these natural hair gurus really dont know what they be doing lol they don't even follow the damn instructions for the products, research ingredients or at least try to watch other demos of how the products work. I mean damn it don't take much lol

Chelsea Odera: OMG Thanks for the feature!!! I was so surprised! I do film months in advance, but I should have more soups and salads coming soon, and I’m going to try creating more meatless savory options too. It is fairly hard to find something without chicken, bacon, or beef on my channel at the moment, lol. Constructive criticism totally taken!

asthyselfie: _you are such an inspiration! thank you for top notch weekly content!_

Barbie: I feel you on the products salons use. I have never gone to a salon for the products they use...I go for what the stylist can do to my hair.

Denysha Dials: Ooo the guidelines are cool ✨ Yes that’s how I get when people talk about shampoos too. I strip my hair on purpose because I want a clean slate. Whatever I’m feeling afterwards is temporary because I’m about to condition ‍♀️. I don’t use OGX because (years ago) they raised their prices without adding anything substantial to their products. All their featured ingredients are practically at the bottom of the bottle—I just never felt they were worth what they charged. I was cool spending $4 though

Sophie K Davis: Really enjoyed this live (Beautiful headdress) Will definitely check out the sponsors too. You had me laughing so much about the awkward client. I can never understand why people think it's okay to behave like that when you're actually doing her the favour.

uberhaute_naturalz: Someone should tell Curlycrys that even ORS and Vitale already made a miracle product for all these and it's cheaper than all these expensive products they promote everytime

Axt3: Glad to see you're back!!

briaabriaa: I dont want to sound ignorant but ive been natural for a few years now and I’m curious to know why does it matter if a shampoo is drying/ stripping if you go in with conditioners and moisturizers afterwords to give the hair back its softness and manageability. In these lives when we watch product reviews they often rave about a shampoo being moisturizing or complain if its not super moisturizing and i dont get it. Yes the hair feels good with a silky shampoo in it but does the hair need to feel silky and soft during every step? And are stripping shampoos damaging to the hair if you put the moisture right back in afterwords with other products? Ps. Ill add this.. ive had natural hair for a decade now and i dont see shampoo as a product that cares for my hair. I like to spend little on shampoo typically 5-7 dollars and i have to spend around 20 for medicated ones. I feel with shampoos they are all the same they either clean well or they dont? And Am i wrong thinking that hair care is more about what you do to it rather than what you put in it? For example if a shampoo has protein in it or something is it rlly that beneficial since you are washing it out? Sorry for such a long comment.

Simone Hail: Sad I Missed The Stream, But I Had To Celebrate My Birthday. See You On Next One!

SpeakingofMeesh: The voice enhancer makes you sound clearer. Thanks for your streams! I hope your nose gets better. Is the runny nose from the detox?

Naughty Sims: I love the African pride pre poo but I have to stop using it because it never mixes well with the products I already have on my hair. It clumps up making it harder for me for me to detangle, which in my opinion defeats the point of prepooing for me, so I'm going back to using oil for a prepoo. I don't have worry about the oil not mixing well.

iateyursandwiches: To be fair, Will isnt the best at roller and rod sets. And yeah, he may have needed a trim

Ashley P.: 5:02:35 where the hell did the Wiz voice come from? I was shook! Lol. Come on Martin Luther King! Tell me that dream! Hallelujerrrr!! Amenduh..

Snooty Fox: I’m a licensed Cosmetologist and I would NEVER use drug store products! I’m a professional and use products specifically designed for professionals. My integrity wouldn’t even allow me to use drug store products on my clients…especially since I don’t even use them on myself.

iateyursandwiches: Egyptians arent black. They are north African but not black like libyans. They are arabic. Maybe mixed with a lot of things(white, black, arab) but not black. I honestly dont want to claim them and they dont want to be clained so yeah.
