V Rising - Full Character Creation (Male & Female, Faces, Hair Styles, Features, More!)

Hello and welcome back to another character creation, video. My name is lumen and today we're having a look at v rising. This is an open world survival game with vampires. As you can see right here, the character creator looks pretty cool. I, like the style that they went with for the characters and, as far as i understand it's pretty important, customizing yourself. The way you want to look because you actually do get to see your character quite often, even though the game is played from a top down. Point of view you get some zoom ins, you get some face time with the character, so yeah you know make it look good guys make it look good. So we're gon na jump in we're gon na have a look at the options available to us. Everything that you can do with this character creation system and you can as always find timestamps linked below. I suggest you use them if you're looking for something specific but hey, we start with a male body type. I'M assuming that's the triangle over here, and this will be the female and we're going to go through everything. Now i do know - and i want to point this out right away. All the options on male and female are the same, so the faces on the male bodies they the same as the ones in the female bodies. They'Ll just be a slightly different shape because of the way the female body looks, you'll see what i'm talking about same hairstyles same features same accessories same colors, just putting that out there getting that out of the way. So if you watch the male one, you'll have a pretty good idea of how the females will look too. So there you go, let's get started, we can look at the skin tone first. I just want to see like basically what you get here. You can see how it works. Uh you get your your color and then you get all the different shades of that color going down and they go down pretty dark. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to look at all of these, as i just did, and then i'm going to go somewhere in the middle, because i feel like there's really no point in clicking on every single little block here. So you can check these out. These are the lighter variations. Then you go like somewhere over here and you can see that they get quite a lot darker and it's the same colors once again, they've just made them a lot darker and then, when you go down all the way, i'm gon na put it like over. Here. First then, it's pretty damn dark, like i feel like if you're going through these you've barely seen any change there barely, but when you get over here to like the the green ones, definitely changing a little bit. I appreciate this by the way. I think that it's kind of cool that they firstly organized it in the way that they did it's very structured, it's nice, it's easy to understand, and secondly, i like that they gave us the darker colors and then all the different shades of them, because, like obviously, If the light catches your character in a certain way, then that shade that you picked that color that you picked will definitely stand out. You know it's an important choice. It definitely is, and it's the smaller details like these - that truly make the good-looking characters stand out from the pack. So you've got a lot of options like you know, you can go sort of somewhere in the middle here. Well, this is not really at the middle. This is somewhere at the start, where you can see the character way more clearly i mean who who doesn't want a baby blue vampire like yeah, why the heck not or you can go for one, that's a little bit darker somewhere down here, but for the purposes Of the video we're going to go with the lightest skinned one and then we can look at the faces. Let'S do it we're going down the list. The eye color, we'll check once we're done here, we'll take a face with nice, big eyes. Let'S have a look. Oh yeah, oh wow, okay, yeah. This guy looks a little bit more serious about his role as vampire, oh god that looks so familiar. Who is it that looks like this again? It'S from an anime or something right? Oh okay, if vampires were also beavers, i love it yeah man. They took inspiration from a whole lot of different stuff here and i kind of dig it. Oh, this guy yeah he's over being a vampire just end. It already just stake me in the heart: okay: the faces are kind of nice yeah, there's a good selection, uh again like the the combos that you can probably pull off with the eyes glow. That'S beautiful man that color! Oh that's, really, nice! There are going to be some nice combos that you can pull off and i'm going to show them to you. You will see them when i start smashing that randomize button you're gon na see some really cool stuff. Look how bright that one is geez dude these celestial eyes, but like just as a quick example check that out. Look at that contrast, that's sick! That'S really cool yeah, so nice, nice eye, colors, hairstyle, again, combination between a hairstyle and face can can be the difference between a good looking character and an absolute abomination. You you know what i'm talking about. You know who you are you people that make those characters? Sometimes it's actually fantastic. This guy's got a bunch of roses in the back of his head. You take this here yeah and then you just present yourself to the woman that you're caught in you know who needs roses they built in man. Oh, like i'm, getting strong geralt of rivia vibes here, which is kind of uh. You know ironic, it's so crazy. Okay, you know what we can look at their hair colors in a moment as well, then we can probably make some interesting combinations. There'S a lot of hairstyles 27 and once again keep in mind that all of these are available on male and on female. I, like that equality yeah, i mean geez if you want to pull off your best possible manner, manorath cosplay wow. I know this hairstyle from world of warcraft. Actually melon did yeah it's a good style. It'S a good style. Wow man. Look at those flowing locks, that's cool! I actually don't even know where i'd go with this, like i don't know what hairstyle i'd pick for myself. There are some really cool choices here i mean there are some really boring choices too, but like there are some really cool choices. Let'S take the the long flowing locks and we'll check the colors out on that honestly, like there's no better here to choose the to test. The color on this is like perfect yeah. Once again, it's it's kind of nice to see all these different colors available. But, like you got to keep in mind, this choice might be overwhelming. For some it's a dangerous game. You play in stun, lock studios dangerous game. I don't know for some reason. The order of all of this these lines that just makes me really happy. You know like more often than not people, just like they're the divs like randomly throw these together. You know they like they like completely randomly throw these together and and then there's no rhyme or reason. You know, there's no rhyme or reason you're gon na see as well that these are not the same as the as the skin. Colors you've got actually a pure black over here and honestly, like that's kind of cool i mean i, i think that the black hair would look really nice. Oh that's already kind of cool wow wow. I wonder if they're going to make it like. I wonder how dark the darkest one is. I'M just gon na go a little bit more here and see that i'm gon na skip a few lines down. Oh yeah man, i really like the way it looks when it's when it's slightly darker, i mean now once again, you like you, look at it from this angle. It all looks black. You look at it from this angle. You'Ve seen the shades. You know you've seen the different shades here. Look at that look at that insane: yeah, that's cool, that's cool, that's cool, that's cool and then boom the black one, yeah yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay, slightly more impactful than the skin! Because, like you know, you got you get slightly more color there, let's just put like a regular style on and then let's check what the features are gon na be: okay. Oh okay, yeah! That'S um! Those are beards! Oh sick, dude, okay! So it's like it's like three beards and an iron jaw. Once again, you can have the beards on the females, i'm i'm pretty sure. I'M gon na have to use a beard like that's just mandatory right now. Huh, it's it's nice! Those are. These are good beards. Okay accessories, what is this? Oh earrings, okay, okay, top earrings, there's a special name for these. I am not knowledgeable enough to know that name. It'S like a clasp of some sort. Maybe is it like an ear clasp, i'm not sure yo. If someone knows that, please please put it down below. Let'S hear it! Oh that's fantastic wow! Oh my god! That'S even better! Yes! Yes! Yes, yes, okay! I like it. I like it all right all right. So then you get to choose your name over here. Uh! You can you can random it. It'S a bunch of really good vampire names, yeah cause. Why wouldn't you want your vampire called warren uh and then that pretty much covers it? Now, i'm gon na point out again: you can lock in any of these. So what i'm going to do right now is i'm going to lock in mail okay. So it's the mailbody type, i'm going to leave all the other stuff unlocked and then i'm going to randomize, and this is going to be good. You guys are going to see it comes up with some pretty fantastical stuff like wow. Look at that that's sick, yeah man. I don't know like with some of these. I get some serious attack on titan vibes with others. Not so much not so much, not really so much but yeah. These are sick, some good characters. Here, it's cool! Oh look at this guy damn, but do you see what i'm saying with the skin color and the hair color like because you have so many choices available to you? You can go anywhere like it's so versatile that you're actually making night elves here, you're making undead here, you're, making blood elves here and then you're, making like titans from attack on titan here all of it within this one creator and on this one race. I guess you could call it it's actually pretty impressive. In my opinion, the fact that you're getting so much versatility - i mean i mean i guess you could even throw them into the mix like just regular old humans. You know just an old human male, you you could call this just like an old human male. You know well well not with a skin color, but you know what i'm saying like this one as an example yeah. This is a regular old man, nothing peculiar about him, what fangs nah never heard of them. So you see that's sick, fantastic all right so yeah like i, i suggest, if you jump in here, maybe toss out a couple of randoms before you make your choice, because you could end up with something like this and it will warm the the deepest cockles of Your heart, it will warm them up so so much and you will never be able to play on a different character because look at that look at that face. That'S that's warren right. There, okay, we're gon na jump into the females. Now, let's have a look time for, oh, my god, female warren. Please just remove yourself from my side. Let'S go back to the start, i'm putting everything back on the basics boom boom boom boom boom and boom. Here we go female vampire, lock it in we're going to be looking at the skin colors for those of you that skipped here, maybe using a time stamp or something like that, i'm going to use the same system as i did on the mail where i will Go through this line of skin colors and you can see the lightest version, and i will also comment who are potentially in your mind for the first time on the fact that this is so orderly wow. This is so nice and orderly. I love that they are arranging it in this way straight lines. Yes, these colors, they are presented to me in such an understandable fashion. I really like it honestly, like the difference between these two is pretty big and like as you go down every one. It'S it's a biggest jump, it's a biggest jump and you could probably find the color you're looking for here. You know you can sort of customize to your heart's content. However, i will say like once you get past these lines over here. I do think you sort of enter in the the dark zone and uh you. You know it starts sort of mattering a little bit less. However, i did mention - and i and i'll stick with that - the fact that you know if the light catches your character in a certain way and if you and if you customize everything else in a certain way, then this choice is going to matter, because it's these Small details that make the character or these small details that could potentially break the character. Let'S do a bit of zigzag in here, yeah like when you get to the greens and stuff. In all honesty, it changes enough. Ah, it changes enough so back to the first one. Let'S begin with the faces, let's see what's going on over here, i think, as i mentioned at the start of the mail one or at least at the start of this video yeah you've got the same faces. Uh, that's the same on male and female. Now what i want to actually just show you as you switch between them. It'S the same thing. Nothing changes over here, there's nothing that's exclusive to the one or the other, and it's probably a good thing. It'S probably it's probably a good thing: it's nice! This is terrifying, absolute nightmare, fuel. 100. I don't know for some reason. I actually kind of like this face this one. That'S just bored with life and bored with death like why not why not eyes? Here we go cool nice colors. I i still like my favorite part of this whole customization the eyes. My favorite part is the eyes, and you know i'm probably gon na end up. When i make my own character, i'm gon na end up making something monochromatic with like whites and blacks and everyone's gon na be like. Ah, we knew this was coming. You got some sort of allergy to color or something what's this aversion hairstyles, let's preview it on this color and then we'll then we'll jump through the different colors on the different styles uh, we'll sort of you know have a look at them all ooh, that's kind Of cool and the hair physics, not bad, not bad. I will point out. I didn't mention this earlier. I should probably have mentioned at the start. The graphics are maxed like it can't go higher than this. This is the the highest possible resolution. It'S the um! Well, not resolution i'm recording at 1080p, but it's the highest possible uh graphical set-in, which is just high and everything is turned on. That'S a nice pixie cut kind of doesn't suit the whole vampire thing. Did i say it's the same. Yeah did i say it's the same on both because i don't remember seeing that on mail but like it's just made for female, because it just looks better on them. I don't know why. I mean i'm saying that it's actually exactly the same style, but i feel like it pops more on the female face, because the female face is smaller same for this one to be honest like they, they went a little longer with it. If you look at like how far it goes down the face and how big this strand is yeah, it's nice! It'S nice! Oh dude! I love me a good mohawk mm-hmm. The horns of mannoroth uh maleficent question. Mark. I can't remember: it's been a while, since i've seen maleficent but oh yeah, dude, it's nice very cool. Some of these styles are very classic and i i really dig that about them like they they just sort of old school and and it works it works. It shoots the vampire game, you know the old-school style suits the vampire game. Who'D have thought, who'd have thought man, yeah, color color me shocked just going through some of them. Okay, sit here and click on every single block. Much as i love you guys, uh, that is not gon na happen. Let'S go down here. You can use your imagination for the rest of this. I believe in you guys. I believe it can be done. Good colors for the hair, good colors for the hair, uh you'll notice that the skin colors and the hair colors are a little different. It'S mostly just a little brighter. You know the the the hair colors are just a little bit brighter and they have a little bit more like saturation they're a bit more intense, basically uh, because it's here and i think having skin be this intense would look a little weird. So it's a no not they did not. Do it little weird, a little weird making a vampire, not a smooth. You know there you go, i mean the hair. Can i can just leave it on anything? It doesn't really matter. Let'S see, let's change the style. A little bit so we can see the ears there. We go. No, that's covering the eyes this one perfect, that's a nice hairstyle, yeah features, features, features, features for when you want a beard on your female vampire. Looking dapper as heck, i mean, listen, listen they rock! It they rock it they absolutely own. This look it's as if it was made for them, so uh don't be ashamed, go for it if it works for you. I think it looks fantastic. Okay accessories. We got some big old earrings. There got some yeah armor. I don't know, i don't know, i don't know some ear wings, extensions extensions, those are ear extensions. These are like chainy type things, hmm, the shades look sick, they look really cool yeah and there you go. That'S basically, it now comes the fun part uh the names they are more feminine right now, as you can see just a little bit. Okay, this is whisper, it's been decided so often times and i'm actually going to do it but like when you come in your default, then - and you pick the female body shape, they do actually lock the features on one so that you don't have the beard on. Then you can sort of see the feminine characters. Let me let me do that quickly and then you can see what i'm talking about so now you you have the characters that look like females like they don't put the beards on. Basically, and and i mean to some people that makes much more sense to other people - a beard on a lady is just the most natural thing in the world and i i completely understand that uh either way, i'm totally cool with it, but uh yeah. For the purposes of the randomization here, i'll just take that off and i'll show you a few of the different uh options available. You can sort of make up your mind personally when i make characters in a game like this, and they have such a good randomized system. I i like to first randomize a bunch and then i sort of collect my thoughts on what's available and what's possible because it gives you, like you, know, just good examples of what is actually doable. And then you can sort of form your thoughts and your opinions and then you can go in and you can make something awesome because, like i mean like really, if you, if you like, go for a specific theme with stuff like this uh, you can probably come Out pretty happy with with something pretty cool you know, legit there are there are. There are some really good options in here and all in all man i like it, i like it. I think they did a good job. I am curious to see like what the armor types and stuff look like in the game if there are different customization options that you can actually get while playing, if there are more accessories and and maybe different features and stuff, you could add later on that kind Of thing yeah, it would be kind of cool to see, but for now i hope that this quick look at character creation and customization in v. Rising was enough for you guys to make up your mind uh you can.
