♡ SMOOCHES ♡

What'S up guys, it's ashley here, ready to slay another full lace wig with you guys we're going to be working from start to finish. So, if you're interested in seeing how i got these cute little space buns keep on watching so we're starting on the countertop. We'Re going to be bleaching the knots at the very beginning, you'll see in just a moment. There are some super fine knots on there. You guys know i've slayed plenty of times without bleaching the knots, but today i was just in the mood i had a little extra time, so i'm going to be using the blonde or bleach it's a powder bleach. With the 40 volume developer. My exact items are linked in the description box and here's a close-up of the lace you guys can see. The lace is really nice and again. Those knots are super fine, but they definitely are there. So we're going to be canceling those out today. This one is a 24 inch, 180 percent, full lace wig. This one is absolutely beautiful and again if you are not comfortable bleaching, the knot, so you can definitely skip this step so before i start, i'm going to go ahead and cut off the lace in the back, since this is a full lace wig, they provided excess Lace around the entire wig, so i'm going to take literally from ear to ear on the back side of my head and cut out all the excess lace there. That way, i have easier access to the wig when it's time to bleach the knots - and you guys can kind of see those little demarcation lines from on each side of the wig. That kind of is a marker of where your ear would be. I'M going to go ahead and add a little bit of a holding spray. This one has got to be glued. I'M adding this directly to the hairline, and you guys know guys to be glued is slightly sticky, so this is going to act as a way to kind of hold back all of the baby hair. That way, the baby hair won't go forward and accidentally get bleached and turned blonde. So now we're prepared to go ahead and bleach. The knots i'm using again the b bleach mixture that i made at the very beginning of this video. I made it into sort of a paste, then the blondor is a newer bleach that i've been using as of late. I like that, it's like a bluish purple hue to it. This is going to help to cancel out the brassy oranges that a lot of times you get in your knots when you bleach them. Also, it's more of a gummy like a yeah like a gummy texture whenever you mix it with the 40 volume developer, and i actually like that now the way i've set up my wig inside out, i can kind of lift it and look on the inside and See if the knots are bleaching or not, i kept the bleach on for about 15 to 20 minutes. I didn't want to leave it on too long, so i didn't completely bleach them, but i also did not over bleach now we're on to the mannequin head again. This one is a full lace. Wig, you guys rarely see me utilize the parting, and i kind of want to give you that, or i really want to give you a lot of that soon to come. So this one i just decided to do to space buns here i am just parting: it out um down the middle from you know front to back now, honestly, i did not perfect the parting. You know, especially when you haven't done this in a while. It gets very tedious. You can become very anal trying to get it par perfect, even like when i part my daughter's hair a lot of the times. The parting is a cricket or what what have you and it still comes out cute. So i didn't want to overwhelm myself with the idea of you know, trying to get it too perfect. Now i got it way crazy, but you know again, this is just for fun, so i didn't care as much about it being perfect. It still came out cute and that's not something that you really care about. Now, i'm going to go ahead and step out the parting. There is a little bit of flyaways in between, so i just use the electric hot comb and no product just to make sure that the parting does not revert and it kind of stamps it out in a way. So next up we're going to be adding a powder to the parting. Now this is going to pretty much make sure that the parting matches my complexion from front to back now, once you put the wig on you'll, have to have someone help, you add a powder to the parting. Also i did bleach the knots in the front. I could also tint the lace in the front, but if you pay attention and kind of go back to the beginning of the video and look at the construction of the cap, even though this is a full lace, wig the lace in the front and the lace In the middle are different so, like all the way around the laces, like the normal lace that you know and then in the center of the lace like has a cap to it, and that is what keeps the wig from falling apart. So to speak. So i just pretty much wanted to go ahead and make sure that the parting from front to back matches perfectly - and this is normal - mostly almost all wigs - that you find that are full lace. Wigs have cap in the middle again to keep the wig together. I'M going to go ahead and try to get the hair as smooth as possible, so i did start out with a little bit of a mousse and then again i was kind of pressing it in and kind of you know making the parting. I realized the mousse. Wasn'T really um forming or shaping the ponytail? The way i needed it to so, i switched over to the wax stick, and this worked so much better and you'll see i'm gon na just smooth it in work. It in use the hot comb and just kind of train the hair to go in the direction that i want like you can see how beautiful that looks. I definitely wouldn't want to use like a hair gel or anything like too strong, so the wax did perfect. Now i did not pin the wig down as much as i should have. I should have pinned the wig down in the back. That way, i can just more so train the hair and work the ponytail the way i want it. I kind of trained it to go into two low ponytails on the wig head and move them up higher. Once i put the wig on my head, which was wrong, you kind of want to do it on the mannequin head and get them high up, just because this is how you will get a smooth, sleek, ponytail you'll see my my ponytails are not going to be Perfect but again this was just for fun, so you'll see that it's still going to look cute, but i really really had somewhere to go and i really want it to be perfect. You would want to train the hair to go exactly into the position you want on the mannequin head. Now i'm going to go ahead and cut out some baby hair and some side burns just to go ahead, and you know prep the wig as much as possible before putting the wig on now that we have the wig on you guys can see. It looks really good right again. The parting is not perfect, but we're going to just work with it and again you can go back always and perfect it even more. If you have a family member who can help you, that would definitely help my daughter wanted to say hello. This is baby dakota she's three years old and she is next up on youtube. She loves beauty and she had a little bit of blush on her cheeks. She just loves everything, beauty and makeup, so of course, you'll have of makeup and or actually more so, hair tutorials coming from her pretty soon. If you haven't checked out the one already have of her um for her little ponytails and space buns make sure you check that out, i'm going to go in and cut off the excess lace off camera. I did add a foundation as a lace tint. I ran out of the next one that i've been loving for the last few months and i've been meaning to order a new one, and i just keep forgetting this one and everyone. I'Ve tried is imperfect. It'S a little too red, maybe a lot too red, but i really really really need that next, one back also, if you have a foundation that you use on your lace, that you really like be sure to, let me know, don't be stingy, i'd be looking for The holy grail products always so i would love to try something new. It just seems like every foundation that i have is like a little bit too dark a little bit too red for the lace. Nonetheless, it's still better than it being like. You know ashy and way too light so now we're bonding down the wig. I did go ahead and use a non-glue adhesive. Of course it's linked in the description box. I do work in sections, i do the center first and then i do like side and then the other side until the entire wig is bonded down now. Typically, i get this question a lot. How long does this last? It just depends on your application and how well you sleep and how well you shower, if i'm able to you know, take my time and get like a thick coat of that product on there really really really take my time and blow dry it in and let It dry really really good, i'm wearing a scarf at night and keeping it down around the edges, and then i'm also, you know, being careful and keeping the hair covered and not allowing it to get wet or even moist in the shower. It can last up to two days now. I really never have went like three days, but typically you know if i don't um, keep it protected. It'S so much easier. The second day to reapply the same product and it'll stick a little bit easier. If that makes any sense so the first time it takes a lot, but because that product is already there and it's already done it before it's kind of trained in a way. But you know over time it will get a little bit. It says a little bit. Crusty now think about doing this in the morning. It will get crusty and make it a little bit harder for you to um. You know do it, so you just have to pretty much wash or co-wash the wig every couple of days, maybe once a week if you are like reapplying your adhesive on a daily basis. So now we have one side done and you guys know. I love my baby hair. I did the other side off camera and i'm absolutely in love with the way it came out. If this is too much rippy, hair kind of do thinner, baby hair - if you don't want baby hair, just push it all back and you're good to go now we're going to go ahead and work on the the ponytails. I believe i did each ponytail about three times on my head until my arms felt like they were going to fall off, and this is why you want to make sure that you do this step on the mannequin head, so that it can be as smooth as Possible as high as you want it and your arms won't fall off. So at this point i was like you know what this is as good as it's gon na get. I really like it. It could be better, but you know today. This is just what it is as over time. You'Ll see me perfect this style, but again we all have to start somewhere right. I added a little bit of mousse to the ends of the hair. I just wanted to add, like a nice shine and like make it look, you know like she shiny. However, you want to say it cancel out the frizz and just make it look super sleek, and then i pinned it with a bobby pin. Now i wanted my buns to look super big and now that i watch it back and i edit i wish i'd have just made super tight ones because it just made it look a little bit wonky made it more noticeable that they weren't perfectly. You know even this one was a little bit weight or not even a little bit a lot too big. So again you know it's all about preference in person. This one looks really good, but on camera i kind of feel like they should have been just tighter. Buns, like it kind of got a little bit wonky, but you know still cute now the hack for the back of your hair, when you're wearing a wig and putting ponytail is bobby pins. Most people won't bond the back down. So you kind of like push it all the way down and kind of like finesse vanessa, to pin the bobby bobby pins down in there now. This is something again i want to perfect. I would have my husband or if i had a lady friend, a girl, that i could help me to make this look a lot better. I would practice makes perfect - and i don't do this literally ever so - i'm going to work on that and learn to perfect that i would also recommend, taking and putting the wig on the mannequin head and kind of thinning it out a little bit back there. So that it looks a little bit more natural, even with the wig on you can kind of tell, i would need to go in behind the hairline and kind of make it a little bit more thin and gradient so that it looks a little bit less wicky. Nonetheless, i added powder to the parting and a little bit of concealer to the lace blended that out and i love the way it came out. Okay, so this is the look. I don't think i've ever done space buns on here. Maybe i have i actually. I did at my old house, so i have done space buns on here before, but it's been quite a while it's been years um. I think so. I wanted to do something different and have fun with this one. This one is a full lace wig, so i thought why not show off the lace in the back, because i never ever ever do. If i do it's kind of like more so me, taking the the parting a little bit further back than i normally would, if it wasn't a lace wig, but i just went for it now. This is a style, that's super fun, but i do get self-conscious about the back. I get self-conscious wearing it out like out in public with the back out just because i feel like i need somebody back there to help me, pin it down properly, because i definitely wouldn't uh glue it down or even bind it down in general back there, and So i really can't even tell what it looks like i'm gon na have to like literally go in and take a picture. Maybe if i record a video see what the back looks like inside this side. Now, let me play it back see. It definitely needs some work in the back, there's a little bit of buckling right here, so i feel like pull it down more, but i feel like i have to train it to go up and then use some holding spray and just really really work it up. Probably on the mannequin head, so i don't get frustrated but again something fun for the gram. I think i can definitely pull it off, especially if i like to say if i take this off, put it on the mannequin head and really really work it up, but it just was meant to be fun. So, no matter where i wear it, people would know who's. Awake anyway, doesn't look like natural hair. Obviously this one did come from west kiss, which you guys know. I'Ve been working with this company since um almost since the start of my hair journey here on youtube and the packaging is the same as always they did include or include an elastic band. I definitely think that would have helped me to be able to um keep the weight down even more also. They gave me a headband so that i could tie my wigs down um a dust bag, and then they also gave some wig caps as usual. So i hope you guys enjoyed this one. I'M gon na go ahead and take some pictures with the wig like this just for the vibe and then i'm going to take it down and maybe i'll just take some pictures of it down. So you guys can see the length as well. Well, you guys already seen the length, but i just kind of want to get some pictures in the length um as well so yeah. Let me know what fun tutorials that you guys want to see from me. I want to perfect my styling, i feel like it's so safe to do a middle part in bone straight or you know, wet it up and put a little product in it. But it's also even more of a challenge for me. If i do different styles, different colors and things like that, so let me know if there's some styles, that you are interested in seeing me slay here on youtube, also, don't forget to subscribe to my channel. If you aren't already, it would help me out so much all of the details and everything that i use links and all that are in the description box. If i did not mention that already. Thank you guys so much for watching and as always i'll see you in the next one smooches you
