How To | Highlight Your Wig Easily | Oreo Trend

What'S up babe, it's your girl, tatiana v and today i'm bringing you guys the video on showing how i achieve the oreo highlight effect on a budget, so i have an old wig unit. I think i've worn this wig unit about four times and i've done a lot of things with it, but it's still riding out with me so today, i'm just going to be adding some highlights in and showing you guys how i achieved that. Look. So what you see me doing right now is prepping my wig, i'm basically hot combing it i parted it down the middle and i'm just getting my wig flat and i'm even going to flat iron my wig unit. The reason that i do all these steps prior to is because, once i add the tracks in the actual hair or the weight itself, i'm just going to put the wig on my head. So i kind of wanted to prep it and already have it ready to go on and i needed to part it down the middle so that i can have a direction on where the actual oreo highlights or the the blonde highlights would go so [ Applause ]. Alright guys so i wanted to do this look, but i didn't want to order a 613 bundle, so i went to my local beauty supply store and found this natural dream. Um 613 24 inch bundle. I i got about two, but i only used one. It was 12.99 and yes, it is synthetic hair, but this was a wig that i was keeping on for a weekend, so it was not like. I was about to keep this wig on for forever and it wasn't like. I wanted to keep this these tracks or this, but these bundles forever, because i'll be taking out the bundles or the tracks once i'm finished with that look. So, if you're on a budget, if you're anything like me, stop by your local beauty supply store, it's literally gon na save you a ton of money rather than buying a 613 bundle and as you guys could see, all i'm going to be doing is pretty self-explanatory. Is measuring up or separating where i want my tracks to be measuring up the line, cutting the track and then putting the glue on there kind of like a regular bonding if you're familiar with what a bonding is and just going ahead and adding the tracks into My wig unit, i make sure that my lines are really straight. This is important, and then i use a blow dryer just to make sure that the tracks um dried when i put them on there, because you did not want the tracks to be slipping other than that. This is the process that i go through. To add this onto my hair and as you guys just watch and see you're gon na see how it falls into the oreo effect. So so so i can't tell i can't uh, i think of you every moment. There'S nobody else baby. So so me me, um foreign, so once you get to the top, let's pay attention to how i laid that track. It was laying horizontally as opposed to well all the tracks are laying horizontally, but i laid that one kind of like towards the front of my part um once you guys keep watching you're gon na see that i didn't add um a lot of bundles to the Front of my hair, because i wanted to make sure that when i actually put the wig unit on it was blending in well and it wasn't showing tracks at the top, and i would still be able to do my baby, hair, etc, etc. So once i was finished, i just i just left like a tea party section off so that i can actually measure up when i put the wig on my head to measure up where i wanted my blonde tracks to be added to, but, as you guys can See it's definitely giving off that oreo effect. Right now and i loved the outcome. It came out beautiful and i'm so glad that i went on the budget and went to the beauty supply store to achieve this look, but it literally came out amazing, and i can't wait for you guys to do this. Look because your girl killed this. So this is me with my wig unit on after i styled it and girl. Yes, i laid my hair down but, as you guys can see, i'm adding tracks to the front of my hair, just because, like i said, i left that piece off, because i wanted to know where i wanted my tracks to lay. So i just do it right here by myself and um place. My tracks on my track ended up slipping, so i had to re-put it on and then press it down with a hot comb. You guys will see that part but other than that um. This is exactly how i achieved this look and it came out amazing.
