So we're going to take a look at jon, renau's heat today in the color 8rh14. I'Ve made this a part of my affordable series. I'Ll tell you why coming up this style was sent to me by wig studio. Voluminous shag style cut very easy and fun to wear. But let's take a look at this color. First, this medium brunette by john renaud. This is 8rh14, so this color 8rh 14.. It starts with a medium ash brown and a true ash brown. It is, and then it is highlighted, then, with a medium ash blonde, now you're not going to see any chunky or streaky effects in the highlighting for the most part, it's very fine and well blended throughout. This is not a rooted shade, but it does have quite a bit of dimension, so the little bit of a shadow there does remind you of some regrowth. I think it's a nice natural looking color now this is a part of jon renau's hd fiber collection, and that just means that it's heat defiant up to 350 degrees. Now i will say that jon renau is one of those brands where the same color looks very different between a non-heat defiant and a heat defiant fiber on this one you're going not going to see any kind of shine to it. It looks very natural and it's very much a cool shade, so let's dig into the dimensions of this a little bit just so you know how it's going to frame your face. So, first of all, there's about a four inch bang area here and so that's going to come down just below the eye. Maybe strike you on the top of your cheek on most people and you can sweep that off to either side. And then you have about a seven inch crown a four and a half inch nape and then there's like a five inch layer here on the sides. Now all of that just works, it works with this traditional shag style cut. This has a jon renau, smart lace front to it. That'S part of the reason why i selected it for my value series. I really like jon renau's, smart lace, fronts uh, it's a very strong welded material here and it has a medium grid on it. I would say that the the knots are very fine on this particular lace front. It looks really nice. It goes back about an inch from the hairline and promotes a nice natural look from the front. It runs temple to temple but does not extend back into the ear tab. So in addition to that a full smart lace front, then you have an open top sides and back this weighs about 2.8 ounces. It'S very lightweight and it feels lightweight on my head. So let's have a little discussion about the fiber. The fiber is more of a medium denier. Um, the heat friendly fiber always has a little bit of a different uh feel to it than the non-heat friendly. So, in addition to having no shine, you're, really gon na get a nice texture on this kind of a velvety feel it's a nice length to have in a heat, friendly fiber, and i believe that a style like this, you can really just make it your own. Through any kind of heat styling now right out of the box, i just gave it a shake applied. It kind of found my part, a little left of center, just kind of manipulated the front uh to to my taste and liking. But i realized very quickly that these fibers are very impressionable. They respond very well just to the heat of your hand or any kind of kind of manipulation you do with your fingers, so i think you'll be able to keep brushing to a minimum on this style because it doesn't feel like it's just going to get stringy. There'S a lot of volume on this style. I think it's brought on by the wave pattern that you see here these just these big body waves. In addition to that, there's quite a bit of permatease, as you would expect so you're going to have lots of permatease on the top of this style and at the crown quite a bit here at the temple and back very little here at the nape directly. But the the permatease really does serve to hold and prop up this, keep it voluminous for you all day long and keep those waves in shape so again realizing very quickly. Once i brought it out of the box, this is easily easy to manipulate. So if you don't like volume in certain places, you can certainly work with it very easily to tamp that down. These fibers are more on the coarse side, they're very impressionable, and there's not a lot of swinging movement here in review. Then i chose this for my value series because first of all, the price point is very nice. As of the date of this filming right around 175 retail and then during a jon renau sale where you can get your 30 off. That brings it down to around 120 before your taxes and things. So it's a very nice, affordable style, and i love that because it has the jon renau smart lace front. So you get a lot of versatility out of this little girl and it's a great everyday style to wear for the heat friendly fiber and i feel, like the quality, is really nice on this one as well. Here'S an inside look at the cap for jon renau's heat, there's the temple to temple, lace front, it's nicely contoured, but it does not extend back into the ear tab. Nice comfortable closed velvet lined ear tab here and then you've got your open tracks on the top. Some permatease lots of wefting throughout velcro style, adjusters and an extended velvet nape, there's quite a bit of stretch on this style. I would say it's exactly average right out of the box. I had to cinch it in just a tad to accommodate a petite average circumference. Now, in each of the jon renau's heat defiant, fiber wig styles you're going to get a wide tooth comb. This is very important because the hd fibers are a little more sensitive to friction and wear and tear. That means that you want to take special good care of them, and you can start by using a wide tooth comb or finger styling only avoid one of those finer combs avoid brushing where you can running this through. You can see how easy those waves just respond to a little bit of combing and, lastly, all the glasses fit nicely between the ear and the ear tab very comfortably and securely thanks.
