Hey guys welcome back to my channel and before we get into this video, if you haven't already, please make sure that you hit that subscribe button and that you like this video and share it with your friends and everything everybody, family, uncles, aunties, nephews, cousins, nieces, whatever You want to call it so without further ado, let's jump straight into this video, so in the first clip i just showed you guys how i did my bobcat method and if you don't know how to do a bald cat method, please feel free to look at My previous videos, because i did show in detail how to do a ball cap method so right now, i'm just putting the wig on and just trying to size it up to make sure that if it fits properly and that it's laying in the spots that i Needed to lay - and then today in this particular video, i'm going to be going in with my bold hold, active and usually i've been loving and using the erika j hold me down adhesive, but for this particular video i ended up running out so you're going to Be seeing every other product from erica j line, except for just the adhesive so, like i said today we're going to be using bold, hold, active and um. I don't. I don't think it's nothing wrong with this glue at all. This is actually my go-to when i do run out of the erica j adhesive. So the only thing that i don't like about this glue now is because ever since i've been using erika j adhesive, i've been able to tell the whole difference and erica j adhesive. The whole me down adhesive is like has a way stronger, hold than bold hold. So yeah, that's the only difference, but this glue is still useful. I still love it. I mean it still give me the hold that i need for my clients and i'm actually going to tell you why right now, so, as you can see, as i my eyes, i'm applying the glue, i'm making sure that the width of the glue is very wide And what i mean as the width is that i mean like, like i have an inch of it on the cap and like an inch of it on the skin, so it just gives what i needed to give so make sure that when you're applying your glue, You have a good width like a large enough width so that you can get a long lasting hold, because if you put like one skinny centimeter of glue on the very edge you're not going to get the hold and the um yeah you're not going to get The hold that you would need your wig going to be coming up within like the next day, so make sure that the width of your glue is wide enough and make sure that you spread out the glue evenly. And if i haven't mentioned before today. In my um in this particular video, since this client is coming from out of town she's, going to be getting four layers of glue, but i usually use three, i think that three to five layers is well more than enough. You can even use seven layers of glue just make sure that you spread it out as evenly as possible and as smoothly as possible, and also if you pay attention to how i'm applying the glue, i'm not just literally slapping it on there. I'M actually applying the glue as how her hairline is formed and how i cut the cap and that's the key to having a flawless install like you, don't want to just apply the glue straight across i mean if their hairline is going directly straight across then that's Fine, but just try to apply the glue and cut the cap and make the bobcat method exactly like their hairline so like, even if their temples coming out way more than like the top of their hairline or if they have a widow's peak. Try your best to literally carve out and mimic their hairline like. Don'T just try to create your own, because it's not going to come out looking right. So once your glue turns clear: that's when you're going to go ahead and apply the lace so a trick that i've learned while doing these installs is i, instead of trying to line the frontal hairline exactly up with my clients, i actually lay the frontal above their Hairline, like just a little bit above where i put the glue just so when i cut the lace off the extra lace or the lace that i don't need, i won't have any glue like leftover glue, sticking out or any hair sticking. So after i applied the lace, i'm just going to go ahead with my rag tooth's comb and i'm going to go ahead and push and press that lace into the glue. And then i'm also going to go in with my blow dryer. So on warm to cool setting and i'm gon na go in with my elastic band, just to tie it down to make sure that that lace is sticking firmly into the glue. So i like to cut my lace off in sections and then i also go in with my razor to cut off the lace just to give it a jagged natural um cut, and just so it won't be straight across and blunt. So i really highly recommend that you use a razor and be careful when you go to this when you do this step, because you can't easily cut your client so really pay attention and what i was saying earlier by you bringing your lace up above the glue It also helps like carve out the hairline better, and it's just like it just give it a more natural look like, as i cut it off you're gon na see like by where i applied the glue it's gon na cut off exactly like her. Her hairline is - and it's amazing like this trick - is just amazing if you can't understand what i'm saying as you can see right now, by the way, i'm cutting the lace off you're, going to see like how it's actually cutting off like her hair, like how her Hairline is, naturally, is so me do so to so my so so so after the laces all cut off. What i like to do is section out her baby hairs and you don't have to i'll. I recommend you do this step, whether or not even if you have you're making baby hairs or not, but i separate it just so. I can add makeup on that part that you see me doing right now and doing this trick. It really helps the blending process. It is amazing, like this trick right here is a lifesaver. If you haven't done this already, please make sure you add this into your steps and i'm telling you it's a game changer. So you, like, i said before you just want to part off the section where you're going to have baby hairs or even if you're not going to have baby hairs and you're going to just apply this makeup. All on that part of the hairline. And then what i'm also going to do is take some got to be free spray and i'm going to spray that and then apply my elastic band again and if you're wondering i'm using number 12 of the ruby kisses makeup and i've already applied that to the Lace before i put it on and that's what i've also used on her bald cat method, and i use ruby kisses makeup in each shade for all of my clients. So i got ruby kisses makeup and each number in each shade, and i use that only that's the i don't use any lace tint anything for none of my installs just this makeup. So after everything is dry and when you take the elastic band off. This is how your results should be looking. It should be melted, it should be blended. It should be looking just like this, so i'm just literally combing out the baby hairs from getting from making it not stick down to um the forehead, and then i'm also going to be like pushing some of the hairs back to style. The baby hairs that she specifically want and how? What we're doing today is a side part and she wants a natural like the four baby hair so like the the two baby hairs on the temples and then the also the two baby hairs on the sideburns. So that's what we're going to be doing today and right now, i'm just going to go ahead with my kiera cares: slicken waxing stick whatever you want to call it, and i'm going to also be taking my pressing comb and we're going to be pressing. All of that down and flat - and i'm also going to be going in sections as well just to make sure that everything is flat. So in each section i'm going to be using that wax stick and i'm going to also be hitting it with the hot comb. Just to get it as flat and nice as possible y'all and just look how easily that is blended. Like look how neatly and amazing that it's blended, like oh, my gosh, like y'all y'all, got ta, follow my steps. Please trust the process, baby trust the process. Okay, so so so so this step right here is a new technique that i've learned from the ericante class and he basically used this um. This root corrector by claro and this is to fix any over bleaching or just any wide parts and give it a more natural, realistic, look rather than just using the black spray and then um you just put in the comb and spraying it like it's just. No. It'S just not it wasn't giving what it needed to give for me. So i love using this method. I got this from a friend. She actually picked this up from um. I think sally's. If i'm not mistaken, yep. She picked this up from sally's and she gave it to me and that's what we're using and when i tell you this is like a lifesaver as well. Ever since i started using this step, it like it's just change up the whole game. So that's the secret y'all! So don't tell nobody all right, don't don't tell nobody it so now, i'm just going back in with my pressing comb just to slick everything out and then, after this step we're going to be moving on to the baby hairs and for my baby hairs. I, like still use i still like using the nairobi mousse now i have been seeing this new trending baby hairs that everybody has been doing like these wispy type of baby hairs. I can't even describe them, but y'all know what i'm talking about. It'S like the jada baby hair is like y'all know what i'm talking about. I'M gon na ace that okay, i'm gon na work on it and i'm gon na literally give y'all. So many different styles, like i'm just still kind of like getting used to everything and just filling everything out and i have tried trying out new baby hair techniques and i have tried tried doing that. But i just feel like i haven't mastered it. Yet you know i feel, like i haven't really like gotten that good at it. So just work with me, i'm still using the same old-fashioned nairobi swoops. You know what i'm saying now: roby swoops, okay with the mousse and we're gon na just leave it at that. So today we wasn't gon na um straighten her hair she's, actually gon na leave it as the body wave texture and i'm just using some mousse and a little bit of water. To basically identify, i say, identify i mean um, define the curls and to like kind of make them pop a little bit, and then i'm also going to be going in with my little mini flat irons and i'm going to be curling. The baby hairs - and i also need to get the new curling irons, the new small color curling irons, to do the baby hairs by like eats or like ep, or something like that. I'Ve been hearing so many good things about that flat, iron and um. What it does for the baby hairs on frontals and stuff, so i'm going to go ahead and check that out as well. Just work with me: y'all just work with me, i'm just using what i got and what is just doing good for me at this moment. So yeah we're gon na just comb it in the downward motion, and i actually just learned a couple days ago that if you curl it, if you curl the baby hairs upwards like away from your face, it gives more of a defined curl. So i'm going to do that in the next video. So just so, y'all can see what i mean and what i'm talking about, but yeah. So we're gon na go ahead and slap that mousse right on there and we're gon na be swerving and curving and swooping and duping y'all. Okay and don't worry, they look super big super super big, but i kind of leave them long like this. Just so i go like after they're dry, i go back in and i basically like shave them down and i pluck them, and i get them to how i need them to be i'll. Just be so scared to cut off too much and then, like you know after you cut them off, there's no going back. So if i cut them too short, it's gon na it's just gon na everything up, so i just decided to cut them long and swoop them, while they're still kind of long and big and then go back in after they're dry to like really do more touches And shape them down and pluck them and do all of that good stuff. So as i'm swooping them with the mousse, i'm i'm also swooping them very, very light-handed. It may look like i'm being rough, but i promise you guys, i'm not i'm literally just doing it as lightly as possible, and i've been doing this for like quite some time. So i'm i it can't look like i'm doing it rough. I just i just i'm. Just doing it so so now we're just going to take this fat neck strip and we're going to be applying this to the edges until they dry and i'm also going to blow dry that on warm to hot heat. Just to make sure that everything is nice and crispy dry. So then, after you take the band off, i'm going to go ahead and go and comb out the baby hairs, and this is what this is. The part. What i mean when i said i shave them down, and i pluck them as much as i needed to and yeah so we're just going to basically just um. Do our finishing touches we're going to go ahead and trim everything and pluck and plug plug plug plug plug plug and plug plug plug mmm this so uh this. So this, basically is the finished result guys and, as you can see, she is loving it. Okay. She is really loving it. She felt like the travel was well worth it. You know i did my thing and right now, i'm just applying some bio silk serum on top of the hair, just to kind of give it like a little shine and a little little little glossiness and yeah guys. This is like the finished result. I hope you guys enjoyed if you want to see any other videos feel free to.
