Thank you so much for your support. Reminder: 4C hair is absolutely beautiful.

It'S because we're friends i feel like we're comfortable, do y'all feel like y'all comfortable. I do love you what's up y'all. My name is sheroy. Thank you for clicking on my video as you should i'm back with another natural hair video. You guys seem to really like my natural hair videos, so i got ta give the people what they want. So, as you all may know on this channel, i don't know what they got going on over there, but over here we take care of and nurture our natural hair. However, we will lay and slay the out of a wig, so today i'm going to show you guys what i feel like is just a better way to maintain your natural hair under your wigs, so your wig can lay flatter and look more natural. So i say: stop wearing braids under your wigs, because, honestly flat twists are better. I don't know if you guys are familiar with the flat twist, but it's basically just a two strand twist in the form of a cornrow. If that makes sense, i know y'all seen my gel braids on this channel, and i know you guys are used to you know the set it off braids going back, so this is very similar to that, except for its flat twist and personally, i just feel like The flat twists are better, i feel like they're, less bulky. It creates less tension on your hair. I feel like when you put the wig cap on and you put your wig on it actually squishes them down because they're, so i don't want to say thin but lightweight, and i guess just less bulky so i feel like the flat twists are better and i'm Gon na show you guys what i'm talking about. I don't know if y'all watch like cornrow tutorial videos and stuff like that, but me personally, i feel like it's hard to learn how to cornrow from a video, because you really just sitting there like it's so confusing. Like what is this, but i'm gon na try to go slow and i'm trying to get really close and show you guys as best as i can, but i'm telling you guys it's not really that hard and once you get it, you get it okay and hopefully I know y'all seen these nails girl. Hopefully i can still do this style with these nails because, as y'all can see, i act different. I really be in a whole different mood when i have nails on like when i don't have my nails. I have to be real, humble i got ta be kind of quiet and polite. You know, don't want to ruffle any feathers. You know lower my voice, but with my nails, it's like okay, talk to me different, but let me stop so i'm going to show you guys how i actually do the flat twist and then i'm going to put my wig cap on and show you guys how Flat it looks because i'm telling y'all i'm telling y'all, i would not steer you guys wrong. I would not we're friends right. Speaking of being friends, are you watching my video? You haven't subscribed to my channel? No, no! No. Could it be no unacceptable. Please subscribe to my channel, so we can be friends, so you can see more content from me. I am almost at 200 subscribers and i don't know - maybe by the time you see this video i will have passed 200 subscribers, but i'm definitely manifesting a hundred thousand subscribers and i have complete faith that i will get there. So if you guys want to support me and help me out, you know what to do. Let'S get into the video all right, so you guys are going to obviously need a comb and, i would say, get a spray bottle, but i finally blow dried my hair and i am not going to have any water around my hair anytime soon. But you know i got my handy dandy growth, oil. If you watched my previous videos, you guys know that i'd be ready to die about this oil right here. Hydrate me please: y'all need to y'all need to message me for you know sponsorship or something because this is the truth right here. This is all i talk about all right, so let me show you what we're working with. I put my hair in a bun because i wanted to protect my ends. Oh goodness, gracious and you know what i have seen a lot of growth. I want to share with you guys my main tip to grow. Your hair out is leave it alone. When i was younger, i was obsessed like not even obsessed. I would like obsess over my hair like brushing it and combing it, and doing all this other stuff and complaining. You know just being frustrated with my hair and doing all this other stuff, and my mom would always tell me just leave your hair alone. You do it every single day, and now i literally probably like take my braids or my twist outs. Maybe every two weeks and i'll wash and deep condition, my hair, but between that i'll use, my oil use my hair growth spray and things like that and really leaving my hair alone and just letting it do its own thing and wearing my wigs and protective styles. Like braids and knotless, braids and stuff has really done wonders for my hair, like my hair has been growing and prospering. So i suggest you guys find you a growth, a go-to style and also consistency is key. Oh, i look crazy consistency is key, so find what works for you and stick with it honestly like if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Oh, i forgot something i forgot you're also going to need these you're also going to need these clips to keep your hair separated when you part it see. This is how i know your friends like who else would i wear my hair looking any type of way? I'D be out here with my hair, shrunken i've been out here my hair blow dried out. Looking all types of sticking up and doing all this other crazy stuff. That'S it's because we're friends i feel like we're comfortable, do y'all feel like y'all comfortable. I do love, you love you friend anywho, i don't know who started the 4c hate train, but baby this natural hair is. Could you anyway? Let me stop getting distracted okay, so i'm gon na make it kind of big so that you guys can see what i'm doing so. I'M you're just gon na make a part going back as you would. If you were doing your braids, put your hair away. Do y'all see, can y'all see y'all good y'all can see all right, you're gon na grab two pieces of hair, just like this two pieces of hair gon na hold one like this pay attention to my fingers and one like this. So the thing is when you go under like this, one goes up and this one goes under and i grab it like this and i push this out and grab it. So, with this hair back here, you're going to grab more hair from behind you and then twist it over like that. Okay and then grab this hair from your finger and do the same thing grab more hair from the back, the less hair you grab the neater. It will be the easier it will be, and then you just pat you're, just passing the hair to yourself and then that hand that's closer to the extra hair you're just going to grab more hair with it. So again, i have this hand i'm going to grab some more hair and then i'm going to push it to the front and grab it so you're just doing it in exchange and even if there's no hair for you to grab, you can still just twist it To keep the flat twist going until you get all the way to the back and there's no hair left, then you can twist it all the way down and actually just to give yourself some extra security, because i'm not gon na lie to y'all. I'M not gon na lie; sometimes twists can be less sturdy like braids will stay better than twistable. Sometimes twists will unravel or get messed up or whatever, especially depending on your hair type, especially if you have like slippery hair, but sometimes curls will. You know work with the twist. It all just depends. Oh you got to know your hair, but if you find that twists are unraveling, you can just once you get to this point. You can just braid down the wrist down okay, so this is what the flat twist will look like. It just look it's kind of like a braid, but it's not a braid that one's kind of ugly, but let me do it again. Let me do it again. Y'All, let me show y'all um, so if you see like right here, it's kind of like loose at the top, that's because i made it bigger so that i could show you guys. So let me show you what it would look like if i were to just normally do it, and also, i feel like this is faster than braiding your hair and cornrowing your hair. Does that be when it's time for me to cornrow my hair braid, my hair down, i have to put on a show, get a snack get something to eat. Do what i got to do, because i know i'm going to be sitting there for a minute, but this i'll just be just zipping through it. So again start off at the front and also, if i didn't have nails. This would also be easier for me to grip, because you want to make sure that you grab the hair close to the scalp. So if you grab like smaller pieces like this, and then you just do the same thing that i told you guys push the hair to the front and grab it circle back, grab more hair push the hair to the front. Oh, this is hard to do with nails. Y'All! Oh, forgive me it's hard to do slow with nails. Okay, so remember, and then this one i'm gon na grab some more hair and then push it to the front. Take this grab some more hair and push it to the front, and when you're doing it, i feel like you can just feel for it, because if you keep just trying to twist, you'll naturally run into some more hair and then, like. I was saying like if you want it to stay better, you can uh separate this into three and then just start braiding the rest, but we don't make excuses on this channel where there is a will. There is a way i don't care and especially, if you're a beginner, i don't care if your your twist looks raggedy or loose or whatever. If it's stuck to your head some type of way, and it's not single, you did it, you did that. Okay, give yourself a round of applause, because not everybody can cornrow, and i never. I didn't realize that until i went to college - and i was around a bunch of girlfriends and they would always ask me to do their hair and they would just say: oh, they never learned how to cornrow. They don't know how to braid. Like that's a whole thing practice makes perfect, so i'm gon na redo this one, because i don't know what that was. So let me show you guys again: okay, so start with two push through and make sure you're pulling your hair too. Don'T pull it too hard to the point where you hurt yourself, but pull it to the point where it'll be tight, so pull each strand like pull this one back, pull this one front, pull that'll, also make it tighter. I think i was just being too scared with my nails, so i didn't pull it the first time. I'Ll have to be like really careful about how i do my braids, because it just won't be flat under my wig. So if you just make sure that you take your time and it doesn't matter how big they are well as long as they're, not like big dookie twists, then it'll be fine. So i'm gon na braid the ends, but trust me, i'm gon na show you guys that, no matter how like big, they might be in comparison to what you feel like they could be. Your wig will stay flat. So i'll show you guys that i do not feel like doing it all the way to the bottom, because my nails, so this is just what a couple of them look like i'm going to do the rest of my hair and then i will get back to You guys so this is what it looks like all finished now i will admit that it was a little harder to do it with my nails than i anticipated, but it'll definitely be easier if you don't have long nails and if your hair is not blown out Or straight and it's in its curly state, but i think i did a pretty good job given the circumstances now, let me show you how i finish it off. There'S two sides the ends of this half and the ends of this half. Now what i basically do is take both ends and braid them just for extra security, because you don't want your choice to go nowhere so i'll, just braid them like this, and then i take the hair and i tuck it into itself. So just push it up. There, so it should look like this when you're done and then i do the same thing to oh. I do the same thing to the other side. I already braided this, so i'm just gon na tuck this one okay. This is what it looks like and the thing i love about. This is it's okay, if it looks messy or sloppy or whatever you want to say, because it'll flatten, like literally like it, might look bulky or, however, right now, not even bulky. It just looks a little poofy right now, but as soon as i put the wig cap on it will literally flatten down and for me it's just flatter than it would be. If i use my braids, so i just you know, do my edges put down my glue or whatever and put on my wig. I just feel like this is an effective way to keep your hair under your wigs and it takes half the time. I finished this. Probably in like less than 30 minutes, if i was doing cornrows, i would be sitting down forever trying to get these damn cornrows throughout my head. So it's really efficient for me personally. Also, do not forget, before you put on your wig cap, use your favorite hair oil and apply that to the parts, because you don't have that big fro to make it harder for you to get directly to the roots and also, if you have your spray, your Leave-In spray growth, spray, whatever it is, don't forget to spray that as well, because it'll go straight to your roots. I'M gon na drop, my video on my favorite homemade, hair growth spray. So definitely check that out. You guys think that this is better than braids or our flat twist. Your new go to, let me know down in the comments and don't forget to subscribe. Okay, thank you guys. So much for watching i'll, see y'all in the next video bye.

I’m getting a wig installed tomorrow and I’ve been blow drying my hair for 2 hours now and it’s not the way stylists want it, I’ve done small sections, Ive tried different methods but they never seem to work with my hair (I have 4a/4b hair) the last time I went to get my hair braided, it was blow dried but not bone straight and she said she normally rejects clients but still did my hair, I don’t want the next stylist or any other stylist to reject my appointment, especially after a deposit was made

sweetmiaily: Nah what she said about the nails accurate af

KAITLYNN LAUREN: QUESTION: If you had a wig installation appointment and the hairstylist did your hair underneath in flat twists, what would your thought be? Would you care at all? I’m a wigmaker taking the time to learn how to do installs as well. As some have mentioned flat twists are less stress on the head. For me having fine hair, cornrows have always been so taxing on my hair and twists have given me less breakage from stress.
