(Beginner Friendly) How To Tone A Blonde Wig | 613 Frontal Wig | Aliexpress

Welcome back to my channel - let's just jump into it, so this is the wig from la moda. It'S a 6 13 30 inch honey blonde body wave. You also get a cute pair of lashes with your order. So this is the lace it's transparent. They put hd in the title, but guys there's nothing hd about this lace as you can see, and then on the inside. You do get clips and it's pretty nice quality, so i did enjoy that and then this is how the wig looks very long. Luscious lots of body and bounce, but very golden, so i'm going to show you how to take that out so you're just going to need a bucket. I think i got this from walmart and i'm taking hot water from my teapot and i'm just pouring that in the bucket just to get the water pretty hot and then i'm filling the rest with hot sink water go ahead and let that fill up about halfway. I grabbed some shimmer lights. That'S the purple shampoo that i'm going to be using. You can use any purple shampoo of your liking, so go ahead and squeeze a healthy amount in there, and then you want to just whisk that away very thoroughly. You don't want any clumps. You want to make sure you take your time blending this very well in the water. Otherwise your hair is going to grab onto the purple so now we're just going to go ahead and jump right into it. So i'm taking my wig and i'm beginning to fully submerge that into the bucket to start the process. So i'm grabbing the front part and i'm fully pulling all the way up and dipping back down pull it all the way up and dip it back down. And you just want to do this a couple of times which is gon na, have the water run through all of the strands of the hair, so that way all of the hair is being evenly coated and then i'm turning it around to the back side. As you can see and combing my fingers through and dunking it just up and down, and you just want to shift all angles of the wig that way the hair is equally coated like i said, and that's how you don't get any patches doing this water method. So, as you can see, i'm taking my time letting the water run all the way out, as i pull up and dunking it right back down, and you just want to keep combing your fingers through the hair just to make sure that, as i said, it's being Equally coated so now, i'm finally gon na just push it under the water, make sure it's fully submerged. You don't want anything sticking out and i'm gon na. Let that sit for two to three minutes. So now we're coming back and i'm just checking the hair and, as you guys can see it's already starting to look nice and toned, i got so excited you guys, can see it's starting to look like a nice bone color, but the camera is making it look More toned than it is so i'm just going back in with another process, adding more shampoo and mixing that in very well, just like alfred did in his video, and this is because the hair soaked up a lot of that toner. So you just want to add more back into the water. So now you want to take your wig and fully submerge it once again and then i'm grabbing the front part and i'm starting the dipping process so just pushing down and fully pulling it up, and this is super simple you guys anybody can do this really so Now i'm just grabbing both ends like he said, and i'm starting to dip it. This way and the reason he's said to do this is because the middle of the wig can sometimes be missed or not get that color. If you do water coloring, so he said when you grab the sides like this you'll fully get all of the hair on the wig. I'M sorry guys, i'm not that good at voiceovers, but i hope you can understand what i'm saying like he said. The middle part of your wig can sometimes miss getting that color or toner, as we're doing here. So just you know, grab all ends of the wig. So now we're doing another sitting um, but this time i'm leaving the lace up so that we don't tone that too much. You just want to leave it for two to three minutes again and then now i'm coming back and as you can see. Oh my god. I see yes, you guys look how beautiful. I can't believe this worked. Okay. This was my first time trying this so now we're taking the water - and you just want to dump out half of that. As you can see, i'm just actually dumped out a bit more and we're going to add more hot water um just to reheat the water. You want to make sure this is hot. You guys, you don't want to use this with room temp, i'm just following the guys instructions, so i'm just refilling that bucket up halfway with more hot sink water and adding more shampoo because, like we said, the wig does soak up with that toner, which is what We want, and then you want to whisk that in thoroughly so we're just going to go in with another process of the dipping, and you guys pretty much get it by now. Just keep dipping running your hands through it, making sure that each of the strands are nice and coated, because we want to make sure that this is evenly toned. We want to get all of the area of the wig, so i'm just grabbing both sides grabbing the back dunking and then the front. So that's pretty much the process so now that you guys basically understand what i'm doing um. This is the last process that i'm just dunking it and just making it to the toning of my liking, but also i was following along alfred's video. If you guys don't like how i explained what i'm doing, i will link his video in the description box below so you know you can follow along with him if he explains it better, i'm just showing you guys, trying out his method and really wanting my blonde Wig toned i hate when it looks yellow so now, i'm just taking some conditioner once we're finished with that and i'm running that through the wig just to add back moisture because we shampooed it so much and i'm just really running that through the hair. Now i'm just taking a hairbrush and i'm just combing through the hair. It'S still just conditioner in here. I just want to make sure that conditioner is fully saturating each strand of hair on the wig, because we did use a lot of shampoo and blonde hair is already dry. So i want to make sure it's nice and luscious and then i'm taking some dish. Soap and i'm putting some of that on the frontal and scrubbing it is in as you can see, because there was some spots that seemed purple to me and i couldn't wash it. I was still there, so you guys the dish soap actually really worked like it. Really took out the rest of that purple from the water and it just i highly recommend it. I don't know i randomly grabbed it because dish soap's good with cleaning, makeup, brushes and stuff. So, as you can see, i'm adding a little bit more because i still saw some areas that were a little bit too toned or a little too purple looking, but the dish soap took it right out and i'm just running my fingers all the way through. I know it's weird to put dish soap and then conditioner in, but it worked perfectly fine to be honest, i'm just taking a brush and running that through the wig just to evenly distribute all of that conditioner and dish soap, which will take out any other purple That might have got stuck in any areas and then i'm taking my water and i'm just rinsing the wig out very thoroughly to take away all of that product in there and you guys the final results are just mind-blowing, like i saved so much money doing this At home versus taking it to a hair stylist and it turned out like salon quality, so i really recommend you guys try this like. It was literally my first time and i had low expectations, but i'm elated that it came out perfect on camera. So now we're finished, and this is how your wig should look. It'S just a beautiful bone, blonde, no more, yellow i'll insert a picture of how it looked. When i first wore it, this method really works. You guys it's super easy and i really hope you guys try it out, hey guys. So this is the final look, so i just wanted to come on here and let you guys know that if you're wondering, why does it still look yellow? This is me after i came back from my birthday trip. I literally did not have time to film how i looked after i got the wig installed because i had to go on to the airplane, so this is how it looks after i wore it a few times, and i had washed it twice just to like get All the dirt and stuff out, so it could look good on camera and i realized that the toner had faded, so the toner will fade as you wash it, but i just wanted to let you guys know that you can re-do this method to get that icy Bone color back to how it looked so again, toner is not permanent, it's temporary, so it will fade after a few washes. So that's totally normal. This is how it will look after you wash it a few times. It does start to fade back yellow, but i still like the color. It still looks really nice. So, okay back to the video. This is how the wig looks um once it's installed, i went to a professional. Her name is cece i'll, put a video of how she did my hair when it was straight right here, go check her out. If you're in west palm beach florida she does amazing installs. I just went ahead and crimped it because i love the look of it and, as you can see it's down to here, so it's very long. I feel like christina aguilera. I actually love this wig. The only thing i don't really like about it is, i will let you guys know. I just came back for my birthday trip. So let me just give you a quick review on this wig. It'S dry. I don't know if that's just blonde wigs, but it is a bit dry like on the ends. I had to trim that a little bit i don't know like when i wear it straight. It tangles a lot. I don't know if that's just me, but it was tangling quite a bit. So that's why, if you do crimps with this hair, it works because you don't have to worry about that and then on the sides. The track stops right here. So you don't have a lot of lace space to like go backwards. So that's something i didn't know about the wig as well, which i'm kind of sad about, but it's okay. Overall, i really wanted a long blonde wig. I don't want to recommend it to you guys, because i think it's okay, but if you are looking for a quick, cheap, blonde wig, i will link this down in the description box below, for you guys, and they do say it's hd, but it is not hd. You guys this is definitely transparently, which is okay, but i did was hopeful that it was hd, but it wasn't so i guess that's what you get. You know shopping on aliexpress.
