Hey welcome back to my channel, it's your girl roxy in this video. I'M going to show you guys how i make a large knotless, braid wig. I think this wig turned out really great. It'S an excellent alternative to wearing box braids. If, especially, if your hair is short and is not able to be braided, so if you're interested in this video then keep on watching, the first thing i picked up was a full lace wig. So i wanted to be able to do box braids throughout the way and still be able to part it from the front all the way straight down to the back. I purchased this wig from aliexpress and the company i purchased it from is evo wigs. So i'm going to leave the link to the company below, because i think this is a very good lace wig to use for a box braid, especially because the lace is very flexible and the hair is not too dense. The first thing i'm going to do is bleach the knot and i need to make sure that the scalp looks as natural as possible and you don't see a lot of black dots throughout the wig in the scalp. So i'm going to be using this bleach powder here, so it's a powder lightener and i'm going to mix it with this cream developer here. So this is 30 volume, pure white cream developer, since i'm bleaching a full lace, wig, i'm going to use about two scoops at least two scoops of powder lightener and i'm gon na mix it with some cream developer. So this is the amount that i created using two scoops, but something tells me i'm gon na need some more so i'm gon na add some more powder and a little bit more of the developer, just to kind of double up on this amount. Here we really want to mix it so that it's that the perfect consistency to where it won't over bleach the knots and seep way too far onto the hair itself. So now the wig is on the mannequin head. I'M gon na go ahead and start bleaching. So this is the front here and i'm gon na bleach around the sides right here and also the back portion. The only part that won't be bleached is this top material right here you can either use a butter knife or like a wooden spatula here in order to spread the bleach mixture onto your wig, so i'm gon na start with the knife. I'Ve used the knife in the past and it's a better spread than the brush itself, so i'm just gon na lightly pass it over here and i'm just taking my time and lightly spreading it over bleach. So my wig is covered with the bleach. I'M going to leave it on for at least 30 minutes before i rinse it out. Something tells me it's already lifting, because i see a strand of hair - that's already pretty much blonde, so it's not going to take too much time for it to change color and for it to bleach the knot i washed out the bleach. I left it in for about five to ten minutes. This is the shampoo that i use is purple shampoo, and this just this is what i used to just take out the brassiness and the red orange undertone that might have been left after bleaching it. So this is a joyco color balance blue shampoo right. So the next thing i need to do is tweeze and pluck - and i'm gon na - do the hairline and also a middle part, and this is so that the parts look nice and natural and the hairline doesn't look too heavy. So i'm gon na start off by plucking the sides. Okay, now i'm just going to make a middle part and i'm going to tweeze along the middle part, and this is because, when i braid it, i want to make sure that the part looks nice and defined when i do part it down the middle. So basically, i'm just trying to open up the middle part a little bit more, and i want to open it up so that when i do my box braids, it just looks more scalpy and more realistic as realistic as possible. So this is the back of the mannequin head here, i'm going to try to make a part as straight as possible around the along the bottom here across here. So i have some shine and jam here. I'M going to use the shine and jam to help with the flyaways and also to help the braid look nice and neat and smooth so i've already pre-parted each section, and this is just going to make it easier for me to braid the hair and to keep The flyaways from interfering with the other braids, and it also makes the process a lot faster. The hair i'm using today is from expressions, but this particular one is expressions rua, i'm also going to use the original utra expressions pack. So the way how i do my knotless braids, i just take the section that i'm working on and i divide it into three parts. And then i just braid it in the motion as if i'm doing a cornrow and then when i make the first braid or plait. I stop right here and then that's when i insert the first braid the first piece of hair. So i'm going to insert that piece of hair in between my index and my thumb here and then i'm just going to continue braiding it and continue bringing it into the into the hair and continue that cornrow motion. So when i come back around, i still have my index finger and my thumb available. I'M going to insert another section up here into my thumb and my index finger and i'm just gon na continue braiding following that same cornrow motion: okay, i'm gon na add a third piece, and this is the amount of hair that i want to use in order To get the thickness that i desire, so i'm gon na add a third part here and i'm gon na continue that same cornrow motion and then i'm going to continue just braiding down. So that's how i do my knotless braids and i learned how to do. Knotless braids from watching youtube, and i also learned from braided nikki so check out braided nikki on youtube. She definitely gives you like really detailed videos on how to braid how to part - and she just basically masters everything that has to do with braids and i'll, be repeating the same thing, the same steps until i finish the entire wig as i'm pre parting them. I'M making sure to brick layer them, and this is where i am parting it so that the braid on top falls right in between the two braids at the bottom here, and i also learned this from braided nikki and i believe this makes the box braids. Look. Fuller and less spacey - and it just makes everything fall nicer overall, so so the next thing i need to do is to dip the ends in hot water, so that will kind of seal the ends. So i have my hot water here in this milk jug and i also have a towel here to catch the water. So i'm just gon na start at the side here and i'm gon na dip it for about five seconds each each section and i'm going to let it fall straight down and i'm just going to smooth it with the towel. The next thing i need to do is seal the flyaways like tame the flyaways, i'm going to be using foaming mousse, and this is from cream of nature. It'S their style and shine. Foaming mousse. So i'm just going to pump the mousse onto the braids and smooth down the flyaways. So this is my complete full lace box, braided knotless wig. I think i did pretty good for my first time braiding on a full lace wig. I would consider these large box braids, i was gon na, say medium, but i would say these are large um. I cannot wait to style the wig and apply it and just put everything together and see how everything looks. I'M gon na leave the full lace wig in the description box below because i know sometimes it's hard to find a full lace. Wig that you can uh do box braids on, because not all of them are you know as flexible or easy to bleach or have the right density of hair. So i'm going to leave it below the hair that i use were ex, where expression so either like they were expressions, but it was uh. One of them was from utre and one of them was from rua. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope you guys were able to take something from the video if anything at all.
