How To Get Heatless Curls |Protective Style (Full-Lace Wig)

Hey y'all, so today, I'm gon na show you how I achieved these bouncy voluminous curls without any heat. As many of you know, a wig is an investment and with that being said, you want to take care of the hair as if it's your own. After all, it technically is so. This is the unit that I'll be styling today, her name is April. So that's what I'll be calling her throughout the video she's silky in texture 20 inches long and is a full lace, Malaysian human hair wig from my first wig. So, let's unbox this beauty so April is from my first wig and my first week is a company for beginner wait where's. They always include everything that you need for you wig to make it look absolutely fabulous. This includes instructions bobby pins, a rat tail comb, an elastic band and clips, and now they offer a style kit that includes rubber bands bobby pins hair bands. U pins as well as some Flyway tamer and some curlformer dupes that I'll be using today in the video. As well as this towel, so here is April before she's, nice and silky with face framing and a side part, and I want to say that the hair line is pre plucked as well, which is definitely convenient for beginners. So I've already washed April and now I'm gon na apply some setting mousse generously through the hair. Now I'm gon na attach the hook as such. This is to set the hair onto the curlers now to install the curlers, we're just going to open one end of the curler and insert the hook all the way. Through now, I'm going to apply some more foam onto the section that I have sectioned off already and I'm gon na comb that through and through now, I'm gon na twist at the root of the hair and place the hair into the hook, making sure there's no Hair sticking out now, I'm gon na carefully pull the hair through the curler, while holding the curler in place near the root, and that is how you install the curlers. You just have to take your time. It does take some getting used to now. Each section is a 2x2 square section, so if you put too much hair into the curler, it will not fit the hair. Trust me. It was a trial and error thing and the hair would fall out if it was too much. If it was too little, it would be too loose. So you have to make sure that you put enough, but not too much hair into each curler, a tip to apply the curlers leave the open end of the hook facing up so that the hair won't fall out whenever it's being pulled through and if there's any Hair sticking out the ends of the curlers, don't fret it's all good. It'S gon na turn out perfect and it's gon na blend. So this is how it looks when I'm done installing the curlers and now it's time for it to dry. Now I'm just gon na leave April to dry overnight or whenever I'm ready to wear her. So when I'm ready to wear her, I'm just gon na go ahead and take the curlers out, and you do this by simply holding the hair at the root and pulling the curler from the hair after the curl has been released. Situate, the curl in the manner that it was sick. I don't just pull it out because it will be frizzy and messy all-in-all. I use 29 curlers for this look and I ended up using to styling kits alright. So this is how April looks when she's installed. Now the separation is where all the volume comes through to seperate, I'm simply using a light serum that I'll roll between my hands and all of my fingers and then I'm gon na finger comb, the curls until I'm pleased with the separation and the volume. Now, as you can see, there's a significant difference between the two sides: one is of voluminous and the other one is a little too perfect for my liking. So I'm just gon na do this throughout my entire head, and this is how I achieve these heatless voluminous curls. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
