Full Wig Installation In 15 Mins!! Myfirstwig - Alexis (Yaki) | Shornell Stacey

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I'm going to be doing a wig installation and today I'm working with my first week now. I'M so excited to be working with this company because they are literally killing the game and they are catered towards. People who are beginners, but even if you're, not beginner like they make your life so easy, but especially for beginners. They provide you with everything that you need to be able to do your hair soft from start to finish. So I'm gon na do a little unboxing to show you guys everything that comes in your parcel and I'm gon na go through some of the claims and see if it lives up to it. So this is my box that came also. I want to point out as well that they do give you a free, wig, head and I've installed ever looks how cute this. So you do get a free, wig stand and within the box they give you everything that you need to be able to start your hair from start to finish. So I'll just show you, so this is what inside the box looks like. So they give me this little bag and inside of this bag, you get all these items, so they give you two clips to clip your hair and they give you this little edge, brush thingy, some bobby pins and a rat tail comb. They also give you this flyaway Tamar, just to like Tim, saw the little strands that stick up and then they give you your hair, which comes in this. How cute is this: it comes in a ziplock bag, come on how to use it and then as well as that, you also get some with caps. So literally everything you need to be able to style your hair. So the week I have today is the Alexis week. This is a four lace, Malaysian wig and it is in the yaki texture. So it does come in like the normal silky texture, and you can also get the same week in yaki, which I opted for simply because I have never actually wanted you. I here with myself - and I just wanted something that would look extremely natural, so yeah it's in eighteen inches and I had mine dyed black beforehand, so you can opt to have in the natural color or you can opt to purchase. They already died, but just bear in mind that if you go for it in jet black, you couldn't then like bleach their hair or diet down a line. If you go for jet black, this is just stick to jet black, and a good thing about their website is that you can also select your cap size as well as the color as well. So this is what the unit looks like. So you can see it's got that yaki kinky texture and this claims to have no need for plucking no need for bleaching. No work needed is supposed to be the kind of week that you just take straight out the box, throw it on and go so today. We'Re gon na test that out so normally you know I bleach my knots and stuff - I'm not going to doing that today. I'M literally just gon na throw this book straight on, so I'm gon na just put a wig cap on and then let's get straight into it, I'm just gon na show you the construction of the wig so like I said it is a for next week. So the lace does actually go all the way through to the back. It does come with a couple of combs in as well and they do give you an elastic band that comes attached and it's one of those ones that art is adjustable. So you can, you know, clip it depending on how tight you want it or the size of your head, and it does also have the adjustable it's right here. So this should be really really easy. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to cut the excess legs off from you know the back of the week, because we're not gon na be needing that and I'm gon na pop this on and see how it's looking. So this is how we're looking so I'm just gon na brush my hair back and clip it out of the way. This is what the hairline is. Looking like, you can see a little bit of my hair underneath that's fine. This is the hairline look, how natural that looks literally amazing they've done such a good job of this. So now, what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na take some scissors or you can use one of these eyebrow raises and I'm just going to cut off the lace from around the front of my hairline and I'm just going to try it and follow My natural hairline just so that this blends in really well. So this is how we're looking now that the lace is cut and, honestly, this lace is so thin that it's just like invisible. It'S just melted, it's not even stuck down, but it's just like you can't even see it right here. You can only see it here because it's lifting up on the sides, but you can either use mousse or a little bit of got to be and you're good to go. But, to be honest, if you've got middle part, once your hairs down, you won't even have to see that today I will be using a little bit of got to be spray because I'm going out - and I just don't - really want my hair to blow in the Wind, so I'm just going to take the smallest bit. I'Ve got to this spray and I'm literally just going to glue down just the sides right here, just to secure the ear tabs, and that is what I'm gon na do. So I'm gon na do that. Now, okay, so she is stuck down on the sides, so I'm going to do my part in so I actually want to go for a deep side part today, so I'm just going to part my hair off. So this is where I want my party to be, and what I'm gon na do is just take out a couple of hairs right here, and this is going to be my baby hair. So I'm just gon na trim them down. I'M just taking a little bit of mousse and I'm going to use that just to lay down the baby hairs right here and also to lay down the lace at the front, because you know that I don't stick the front of my legs down. I know this looks really messy right now, but I promise you won't be like this, so I'm gon na do I'm just going to take a rat tail comb and I'm gon na start combing. Some of these hairs going backwards, just because I like my hair to be off of my face, and so while it's setting it makes sense to just do this from now, and it just makes it a lot easier once the hair is dry, so I'm gon na She just combing these strands backwards. I don't necessarily want baby hairs at the front here and then what I'm gon na do is just take a silk scarf and I'm just going to tie my hair down with this. So for these bits that are all sticking up here, I'm going to use the flyaway Tama, so you just literally roll it up, and then you just use a little bit just to hold down those strands when it comes to wigs Alyssa mousse is your best friend, Because it moves and not only can hold your lace down without glue, but it also any bits: that's sticking up. It just gets it to lay flat and just to behave itself, because nobody wants a high wig like your wig, as opposed to be sitting flat. I did mention that this hair is kinky well yaki hair. I am going to straighten it just because this texture, I want straighten all kind of mimic relaxed hair as opposed to like dead silky, which is not really realistic. For you know black women. So I'm going to run my straightener through very, very quickly, nothing too much like I don't want it to be dead straight. I just want to get rid of some of these like kinks, that is in the strands. Okay, so I straightened my hair she's looking good. So I'm gon na just take down this scarf and then the last thing that I'm gon na do this is completely optional, but I'm just fussy, so I'm just gon na take a hot comb and I'm just coming to flatten out the top right here. So this is how my hair is looking and honestly it like no life. This has been the easiest, wig installation, I've ever done. This literally took me 15, maybe 20 minutes. The longest part was straightening the hair and even that I just quickly passed the straightener through, but literally you take the look out. The box cut, the lace put it on your head. I just little two ear tabs, that's it straight in the hair, that's it! This was so quick and it looks so good like this looks so natural look at this. This looks so natural is unreal like and it feels so comfortable. You know what my first week, you deserve your accolades and I'm giving them to you right now thumbs up to you chef's kiss this week. I'M actually so gassed right now that this is fantastic. It'S fantastic! The lace pre plucked beautifully, like you guys, know that even if something's pre blogs, I always like to look up luck in, but I said to myself to know what today, I'm just gon na just they're. Making these big boy claims ya, know plucky needed. No bleaching needed just grab and go. I thought you know what let's see if we can really do this grab a burr and you can like, I didn't touch the hairline at all. I didn't bleach. Oh like this was fabulous and I would recommend this to anybody. Beginner intermediate expert hairdresser: I would recommend this week and this company to anybody and just a photo. They gives you so much. They pay so much attention to detail 10 thumbs up 10 thumbs up, I'm so so happy and the texture of this hair. Let me give you a close-up. This is what the texture is looking like, so it's like it's straight, but at the same time you can kind of see that kinkiness. I absolutely love it. You look at that. Hairline! Stop you! Oh stop! Man get into this hen. I like get into this, look look at that. Look at this. Do you know what I think this hair would look so nice cold as well, just like maybe like lay it a little bit here and then just some really nice curls. I think that would look so good, but for somebody who just wants something to just grab go maybe go to work, maybe you're going out and you just need something quick. This is the one. This is the one and I'm so in love. Like I said this is the Alexis week. This is a full lace wig, so you can literally part this week anywhere. You want to. You can do any kind of hairstyles corner Oz if you want to do corners whatever you want to do, and this is in 18 inches and it is the what's that called yaki is the yaki texture and mine is in jet black and look at this color.
