Silk Top Wig Vs. Lace Wig

So I know what you're thinking this isn't a wig review. This is just a little information that I feel that all weight wearers are possible. Wait, where's, shouldn't a lot of people, don't know the difference between silk and lace. So I'm here to tell you that today, whenever you're honoring your weight, you have a choice to choose between a lace or a silk top okay. So the difference between lace and silk tops first I'll, show you a visual difference and then I'll give you a verbal difference of what is technically okay, so right now, what I have is a silk top. Let me zoom in and show you okay. So this is a silk top. Okay, as you can tell, it looks more like Scout okay, and I don't have any leave out no leave out at all, so there you go, that is the silk okay. This is a lace wig. This is how lace looks okay and I'm sorry that they have crusty concealer. That is from a previous video that I've done, but this to give you a visual is a lace wig. So first of all, lace is made out of swiss lace. It'S a certain material and it's basically a Swiss lace and lace is going to have knots. Okay and a lot of you'll hear a lot. People say: I'm bleach the knots okay, so what they mean by not is actual strands of hair tied to the lace. So you can actually see where the knot is made, but with a silk top there's lace underneath the still so the actual strengths are pulled through the silk base after it's tied on to the lace underneath, so you can't see the lace and you can't see the Nuts, with a soap top, so it's still top then African, silk with the lace wig, your knots are visible. So usually, whenever you have a lace wig, you have to go through a whole bunch of trouble of blending in and concealing the knots or bleaching. The knots are putting concealer on top um. You have to go through more of a process to make it less than sexual that it's a weight with a silk top. It already looks like your hair is growing from your scalp. If you look closely now it's so top, you actually have to spend a little bit more money because it is an extra process because it's two layers and you have to go through more steps to making the weight. Let me tell you: you need to know that if you're going to are a silk top you're not going to be able to get the silk all over the way. Okay, it's only five inches is only five by five, so let's see number four on top, I'm trying to change my part, so the silk isn't right here: okay, it's usually just on the crown of the wing which is about right here; another huge difference in the Lace and the silk wings whenever you do get a silk top your your lace, you actually have lace, okay right here. I wonder if you can see that you actually have lace right here. So there's not a centimeter of lace and then there's you know, that's where the the silk starts. So you still have lace, that's visible right here, okay, very, very small and then the silk starts. So a lot of people don't like that, because you know it's not going straight to the silk, but the problem with that is. It would lift more in your devious tricks episode because of the type of material that it is now with a lace wig. You know, since it's not two different kind of materials, it does just start off seamlessly. It doesn't have any kind of transition that it has to go through. It'S all just lace. Okay, so that's how it looks now. You know it just really depends on your taste. Some people might think this looks more Wiggy, then you know the lace and some people prefer lace over the soap it. You know it's all in the preference thing, but me personally, I've had both of them and I honestly care to have to blend in and conceal and worry about the not showing, if you don't mind going through the steps of concealing the the part in the weight, Then fine by you to go ahead and our last week there's no problem with that. I'Ve had more lace, wigs and silk top wigs actually and on you know, if you want a more natural looking still top wig, then I say are the so top you know, but you can. The hair is beautiful, okay, so beautiful and so silky is 22 inches. Okay, it is virgin Indian hair. It is in a 1b. The texture is silky straight. You can order it yaki. If you'd, like more texture in it and like I said it's 22 inches, the ends are bomb. Look at this snow split ends those dry funky and I love it um and I did actually get it in 200 %, because I complained about the one that I got. It was like normal density, which is, I think, a hundred or something or 150, and I got um 200 % density, and let me tell you look how thick this wing is. Okay, look how awesome the ball! The hair is endless, it's endless the ponytail, it's so thick. Okay, I'm just really enjoying the versatility of ways. I really hope that you guys open your minds to being able to wear protective styles um. You know just not wanting to damage your hair and put a put a pressing comb or flat on a curling wand, on your actual natural hair and just experiment with wigs every now, and then it's really cool. It'S really fun, and you know like on my lazy days when I don't when I forgot some twists on my hair at night.
