Hi everyone welcome back. Thank you so much for joining me. Today'S video, i have a new segment for you, guys that i'm starting called wig tip tuesday each tuesday. I will come and share with you guys a specific tip on how to get your wigs to look very natural. So if there is anything that you've been struggling with as far as application to customization of a wig make sure you go ahead and drop me a comment so that i can know what to bring for my next wig tip tuesday. And let's jump right into this. Video hi everyone happy tuesday, so today's video, i'm back with a tip to share with you guys how to create the ultimate fake scalp in your wigs. So if you remember this wig from sunday, i did a full install with it. I am going to be rocking this style for the rest of the week. I absolutely love it. It'S so convenient. I will be sure to link this wig below in the description box, so you can check out sunday's video and you can get a discount with the link below so because i didn't really show you how the wig straightened out in sunday's video. I mostly showed you guys how to get the curls nice and defined and diffusing, and all that good stuff. Today, i want to show you how this wig will look if you were to straighten it out and i think that's very important, because you want to know if your curly wigs can straighten so that you can get the most versatility when wearing your wigs. So i took the beyond the zone, turn up the heats heat protectant and sprayed it all over the hair. Prior to this, because i am using a high amount of heat, i want to make sure that the hair is protected. Now i want to give you a little bit of tips too here when it comes to your curly wigs. If you plan on straightening them, you may want to also be cautious on the products that you're using prior. So if you plan on straightening the hair, definitely don't use any product, that's going to define the curls, try to keep the products very lightweight. If you don't want the hair to be weighed down, you definitely want the hair to have a lightweight feel to it. So keep that in mind another thing when it comes to curly hair is that you're not going to get it to be without texture, and that's the great thing about curly styles, taking them from curly to straight? If your natural hair has natural texture to it, it's going to mimic your hair for anyone who wants to wear a wig but still want to look like they're wearing their real hair and because this wig is so lightweight gives a really comfortable wear. So you don't have to worry about it feeling uncomfortable you don't need to worry about having to do too much to it. It'S a very low maintenance type of wig. However, in today's video i do want to share with you how to create that fake scalp um and give you guys a lot of tips on getting the best results when trying to achieve a fake scalp. Look in the wig. I do notice with that. With this wig, the knots are visible and on most curly wigs, the knots are more visible than regular straight hair. Wigs so coming up. Those tips will be very useful. You'Re gon na see that in a second but i'm gon na go ahead and finish straightening out this hair, and then we will be back to go into the fake scalp method, okay, so to get the best method when it comes to creating the fake scalp, you Have to understand what you are doing for one so anytime, you get your wig, it most likely will come with lightly bleached knots. You can either go and re-bleach them to cover the knots, but before you decide to do anything with your wig as far as putting in a fake scalp insert or whatever you want to make sure the knots are hidden. What people fail to realize is that the fake scalp method does not cover the knot, so you need something to do that. I'Ve been using the even tinted lace for a couple of months now, and i find that doing this can also not only just cover or not, but it can replace bleaching the knots with chemicals, if you really don't have the skills to do it. So i like to take the even tinted, lace and spray it all over the cap. Now, normally i will let this air dry. However, i find that you can take a cool setting on your dryer and get it to dry faster, even though it's recommended to let it air dry. Now this product will also tint the lace and change the color, so you want to make sure you are using a color that is suitable for your complexion, i'm using a light warm brown. However, this product does come in several different shades from fair to dark, so make sure you're choosing a color that match your scalp color or you can mix and match. Sometimes i've i've done that just to get the right color once it's dry. It should not rub off okay, so now it's time to hide the grids. Once you have the knots covered, it's important to make sure that you are using the face scout method to get rid of the grids of the lace, because it's so pointless to cover the knots if the lace is still going to be visible. So this product right here is a silicone based product. It'S almost like, i think it's something like the scar way, but it's more delicate. It'S softer and it looks more like skin to me. So i found this online and i thought it was very interesting. It already comes in like a tape, roll and you can just peel it off. You don't have to cut it. You don't have to do anything. I will be sure to link it below in the description box. It'S very inexpensive and you can use this for several different, wigs or just one wig over and over again, i find that i can reuse the same tape now. This is very comfortable. It'S not thick, it's not hot! I think the other one that i used was a scar way before and that one was a bit on the thicker side. This feels very soft and it's very breathable, so you don't have to worry about. Like hearing crunchy sounds when you go to. You know scratch your head, so with these silicone sheets, all i'm doing is taking them, they're already cut and then just applying them on the inside of the cap. You don't need to put a lot you almost at the most. You only need about three strips um, because when you go to part, you mostly are parting in the center of the wig anyway, this is a 13x6 cap, so you don't need to worry about the sides unless you want to. You also want to make sure to put it like a half an inch to two inches behind the hairline. You want to leave enough room. So when you go to glue down your wig, it does not interfere with your wig install as far as the glue and everything. So as you can see, the parting is looking very good. Now, like i said, the three steps to this is one bleaching, the knots or using a makeup or lace tint to cover the knots two. You want to also then go and proceed with any material that you feel like will give a skin type of look under the wig it's like today. I use the silicone the tape and i feel like that looks like skin to me like, so it is almost better than the material just because it does have a really soft feel to it and it's not hot. It feels comfortable and you can reuse it. Take it out put it in, however, you want so, let's take a closer look at the scalp, so you guys can see for yourself how good this is and, as you can see, there's no lines or anything when i do apply this wig in a second. You can really get to see. You know what the separation looked like from the forehead to the actual silicone tape, but so far going down the parting. There is no grids. There is no knots on this wig as you can see so everything i use work hand in hand with each other, and i will also be sure to put all these products below in the description box and again remember the fake scalp material itself is not meant To hide the knots, it's meant to hide the grids on the lace. Okay, so this looks amazing. You guys so good all right. So let's go ahead and i'm gon na install this wig and show you guys what it looked like in stock, [ Applause ]. Once i applied this, to be honest, i really like the way this look. It is so natural. The hair texture straighten out, looks like natural hair. The hairline is gorgeous, so i decided not even to glue it down. So this is what everything looks like and i haven't even glued it down. However, later on this week, i will come back with a glue install, so you guys will see it glued down later, and i'm also going to do another style for this wig later this week. So make sure your notifications are turned on one tip. I can give you when it comes to this method, is when you go to apply your wig, make sure that the actual um silicone base that you put in the inside or the fake scalp material, whatever you're, using make sure it's lined up, where the edge of It is touching your forehead and not sitting on top of your hair. If that makes sense, if it's not laying flat, there will be a line of separation showing. I just want to give you guys that tip also, as you guys can see, this hair does curl. So, on this side of the hair, i curled it at 350 and i felt like it curled, okay um, but if you want to get the best results when curling his hair put your curler on 400 and as you can see right here, the curl will come Out a lot more tight and yeah, i just absolutely love how natural this wig look, and i am so excited to come back later this week with another video with this wig, because i have a style in mind that i want to do and when i tell You guys, i know it's going to look so natural. You guys wait till thursday. Okay, i'm coming back with this wig again, if you haven't seen my first video on it with it in its natural state and how i installed it definitely go to that. Video and watch that particular video - that is how the wig looks straight out the box. I will be sure to put this wig below in the description box, because i know black friday is coming, so some great deals are going to be posted on this website. So make sure you get those deals, but i will also go ahead and drop a discount below in the description box. This turned out so nice, you guys it looks so good um excuse the little pieces of edges of the lace. That'S not glued down like i said this wig is not glued down. So that's why they're showing, however, like when i come back thursday and i glue this down. It won't look like that trust me, but this style is just gorgeous. Let me know what you guys. Think about it! Do you like this wig i've been sharing it all week so far, and i love how it turned out if you have a style suggestion that you want me to do with it, thursday definitely drop me that comment below. I definitely will consider it. Um so yeah, thank you guys so much for watching, and i will see you back in my next video

Beauty by Jay Morris: Definitely live this wig, and the fullness after you styled it, absolutely gorgeous, can’t wait for the next install with it Marie

Crystal Amos: LOVING the scalp method mama, could you help the ones who is dealing with the brassy tint, what is the best method when you are making a part the makeup for me look brassy in natural sunlight or do it depends on the brand you use?

L StCl: Ok, so I just spent two hours trying to get my wig together and then her you go with tips. Lol. Mine looks nothing like yours but I’m done for tonight. I’ll try your tips tomorrow. I love the lightly textured hair so much. It’s not as easy to find though. I notice all the site are having clearance sale’s do something new must be coming. I’ll catch you Thursday. I’m excited to see what you do.

Mermaid Glow: Hello, I love your videos, yo do a very good job explaining things. The other day you encouraged people to comment. I'm just a "viewer" of videos (I'm older) rarely comment, but I think if Youtubers would answer more of the positive comments and engage with the viewers really interested in the content maybe people would be more open to comment. I know it takes time to answer back, but I think there's people out there that need feedback, specially in things related to hair and beauty... Your videos are always amazing, well done and inspirational. One question: how long you recommend to keep wigs on?

Kimberly Kyles: Hey Marie love this unit an it full You Nail It every time much ❤️❤️ Thx. Peace and blessings

Mammie Summers: Oh wow, it really did turn out super nice! It’s beautiful curly and straight.

Ashley O.: Gurl! I gotta go back to the first vid with it! I love the texture of this one! Awesome tips- gonna go buy this tape and spray now!

Donna Wallace: This is awesome! My first problem is hiding the shine left from the glue without powder, it leaves a powdery look. My second is hiding the line of demarcation. I've seen you do it a thousand times but I always have cut very short hairs as you see in my pic. I'm not a baby hair kind of girl. Thank you Marie.

BrittaniAnn: Hey girl, quick question when cutting the lace off so you leave a little lace or do cut as much lace off as possible ?

March Baby: Be glad when they upgrade the lace to not just be more durable or soft but that it resembles a more natural hairline in color..So it doesn't need to be bleached tinted tape added or make up to look like real scalp

UNEEK BEAUTI: It's easier on the lace than bleaching I'm running to get me some tape boo! Thanks MsPreciousMarie

Yolissa Hair: Oh the silicon tape!! Love the new method~

Gail Hopkins: (MPM) putting the skills u have with the knowledge u know is EVERYTHING! Every time! Thumbs ☝! Learning so many things for a flawless install. Thank u .! Grace to u & all. gh

Julia Shultz: Thanks for the tips, love your videos

CoeCoa Williams: Does the silicone comes in different colors? You've taught me so much this year about wigs. Thank you.

LAYEDITION: Do you recommend ebony or true match lace tint?

Tokewa Sproulls: First time on your channel. Thanks for the tips and I have all the products you mentioned.

Alberta Smythe: Hi Marie. I love all your Vedic’s and hope one day I could get my wigs too look as good as yours. My biggest issue is the ear flaps. I’ve seen several of your videos where you cut the ear flaps. My wigs have the elastic band which always seems to be sewn on near the ear flap. Any suggestions for me?

Ty Crump: Love love love this. I see so many celebrities who wear wigs and don't have it going on like this and I am like girl. You need 2 watch #MsPreciousMarie and get your doo together Okurrrrrr

Stephaniez2: Wow ! Great technique & Beautiful Wig !

anathema: would you say that the silicon strips you used in this video create a more realistic look than the perfect line swiss product (when it comes to hiding the grids)?

Lesego: The one thing I'm struggling with is the visible grids on the hairline. I don't know what to

Denise Jones: Can you please share you favorite wig companies that you felt had quality wigs, good hairline and longevity

meeranaam: How would you compare this to the perfect line swiss (the wax)?

R North: Wow Sis! Silicone tape looks like a game-changer

Mercedes Williams: Love Wig Tip Tuesday❤

CoeCoa Williams: Can you do another video cutting the lace and installing a full lace wig?

Jackie Davis: Flawless tip

G T: If you use a comb or brush while your straightening and chase with the flat iron you'll get straighter hair and less damage ❤️

Tina Gee:

Elle Fox: I got you confused with Ari Fletcher just now.... Lmao. My bad

Caitie A: Can we see the wig closer and outside? I could barely tell if it actually worked

Mia Aspen: But what about us dark skinned girls ? They don’t have those sheets in our skin color . The ones you using are for lighter complexions. I couldn’t find any on Amazon for darker skin tones

Dainess Watkins: First comment
