(How To) Half Up Half Down Wand Curls W/ Swoop Bang On Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel set in this video. I'M gon na show you how I got this hairstyle. This is like a thumb up, some down: half a pack down of Juan Cruz on natural hair with a swoop bang. So yes, y'all i'ma, show you how I got this hairstyle. I don't really do too much talking in this video, because this is my first time doing this hair cell so on natural hair. So I kind of just wanted to focus on what I'm doing so, there's not so much talking in this video, but I really hope you guys enjoyed the video and there is our list and stay tuned. Ok. So to start this hairstyle, I'm gon na split my hair in the half up half down first, because we're gon na start on the wrong curls. So this is just my hair out we're gon na put it in the half. So now you have your hair section from the top in the bottom. Now we're going to section out the back, so it can be easy to Lancome. This is what I'm using. It is Connie er you curled just so broad curl in right. Now I have it on 360, but I don't know how hot I'm gon na need it to lancome my natural hair. So this is what I use on like my wigs and stuff like that. I use typically I'll use 360. So, if not, I might cut that 400, I'm not sure yet. So I just took the top section and now I'm about to section out where I want the vein. So basically you kind of want to do like a box. You want to do like a side. Part and then do a straight part from there, as you can see, I'm trying to make the line as straight as possible and then you're going to take that part and put it to the side. So I just clipped it back, so it wouldn't be in the way for when I try to do the actual ponytail. So since my hair is blow-dried, I'm using my edge booster as control to slip, my hair down because ecostyler gel just would have curled my hair back up. So, as you can see, I'm just taking my edge brush and I'm using the edge booster and I'm just trying to slick my hair up into a ponytail and I'm basically just gon na keep doing that until I actually get it into the ponytail. So now it's time for the swoop, bang part, so I'm just gon na spray, with some water conditioning oil mix and then I'm gon na take the same edge, booster edge control and put that to flatten my hair out. You don't want to use anything. That'S like water-based, because your hair is gon na curl back up if you're doing this on stretched hair like me, so I just use the edge control and I just put that all over and then I just took a regular heart brush and you started sweeping it Back, I'm just gon na keep doing that until you get it to how you like it. I didn't really want mine to Forrest's in my face, so I kind of just did it to how I wanted it, but after you do that you just scoop it and you just take bobby pins and bobby, pin it in place and bobby, pin it behind your Ear, so you can't see the tail at the end, so here I just basically wanted to make sure that it stayed in place. So I just took my got to be free spray and I sprayed it on there and I just took my blow dryer and I'm just gon na blow dry it on high heat and make sure that it's hardened and it stays in place. So now, basically we're just doing the ponytail part and you're basically doing the same long curls that you did for the back of your hair you're just going to pull your hair in many sections and want to curl them, okay. So here basically, I just wanted to make sure you saw the swoop, so I just took some bobby pins and I just clipped some of the pieces in the ponytail up a little bit. Okay, so these are the results.
