All right so first you're going to need your tools so for today's tools, I'm first going to use my very own che, lovely found in my store, wwlp.com handmade by me Pro styles, hair gel also, a long line bobby pins protected, of course, duckbill clips, and also Your plastic duckbill clips for holding the hair back during braiding, also your outlets hair veins, if needed, and a rat tail comb for parting now we'll be braiding. So I'm going to kind of go over this slowly, though I've gone over a braiding several times on my channel um for these braids. You really don't have to be too crafted as you notice. My parts aren't that great, but I'm just parting with the ends of the rat tail comb and I'm just kind of making like a half circular, shape there just so they align the side of my head really nicely. I clipped them up with my Dunfield clip, adding a little of the empro Pro styles gel to the edges. I'Ve already added my shea lovely um for moisture and I'm just going to simply French braid up the side of my hair. Slowly and as you notice um. I'Ve already made sure that my hair is, though it's in this shrunken state, meaning that it's in a state straight after being washed. It has not been stretched. What'S stretched whatsoever, it's been a detangled will so, instead of writing your hair on tangled hair, which will pull your hair out from the root, you want to make sure that your hair is well detangle and moisturized. Now I'm going to go ahead and do another braid just so you can see this, but I'll have links to other videos showing me braiding index just so that you can see that process a little bit better and further. So I'm doing the same thing here: I'm not spending too much time parting, because the focus want too much beyond the braids. The braids are just made to shape the hairstyle. Of course you want them to have some form in a definition, but they don't have to be perfect here. I'M only going to do about five to six braids on each side, so it really isn't going to take that long. This hairstyle should take you no more than 30 minutes to complete from beginning to end. So again, I'm braiding ensuring that I put a little bit of the pro style hair gel on my edges and remember my hair is highly moisturized, so I'm not ripping it from the scalp, though it's an it's highly curly and textured state. Now the bun, you guys have seen me, do a bun many times on my channel. My hair is very thick so, instead of using your common hairband, which I use to hold my hair back, I'm going to be using a knee-high and knee-high is just a stocking or you could take an old stocking and cut the ends off of the stocking. The pudding, but I'm just going to use a knee-high and I'm simply pulling it together, almost as if I'm tying it in a knot and then I'm going to secure that in the front just securing it once kind of tying it as if I'm going to tie It into a knot, you see, my hair isn't very tight at all. It'S just merely to secure the hair and hold it in place, as I put it into a bun. I'M simply going to take my fingers and work the hair around into a bun formatting. My hair is super thick and, as you all know, it's below bra strap length when stretched. So I don't need any help with the bun. However, if you're finding that you need a little help, you can use a rolled-up sock or you can even buy a bun from Sally's to help put your hair over if it's not thick enough or full enough. If you'd like now, I'm going to do my bangs, the bangs are simple and you can style your bangs in many different ways. I'Ve tried them twisted. I'Ve tried it braiding them out, but here I didn't really have the time and I had to be ready for church. So my bangs are simply shrunken veins that I've kind of fluffed with my fingers as you can see I've kind of pulled them to the back. But I'm going to change my bangs eventually and I'm going to show you that process, but here I've just pinned them to the back with my fingers. Just so I'm able to solve the hair, I get any flyaways from the bun and also create a style. That'S easy to tie down as I get ready for church so again guys. This is a short well to do hairstyle. It did not take me long at all. I did it right before church and I'm going to be on time. Do you hear me so now? I'M just showing you how I printed and make sure it's nice. As you can see, I got my mirror out just to look at the back you're going to brush with your hard bristle brush there in the back, just brushing it up lightly. Your hair is not tight, so you don't have to run the risk of it coming out or anything like that. Don'T pull it too tight! You don't need the ponytail to be very tight for this situation at all. Now, I'm just kind of edging up the hair. Putting a little gel along the edge line of my hair, I have a lot of flyaways on the edges and I do kind of like for those to look a little more tailored. So I'm just going to make sure that I have extra gel along the edge. Also, you all know, I like my penny girls, so that's why I pull down the edges on the side. Now this is the tie down. All I have is a regular satin, scarf simple satin scarf um and all I'm going to do is tie it around the hair. Well, tie it tight um so that I'm able to shower and get all my other things together, and it's also really just to hold down the flyaways on the side of your hair and in the back now, I'm just fitting some extra time making the edges. Look. The way that I want them to you all know, I like my little curly edges, so I'm just pulling out the very edge of my hair. My edges have gotten quite long, so I can't pull out as much hair as I used to, but I'm just going to pull out the very little edges there on the side and kind of put a little gel on them to give them some definition and curl. You can also sleep like this and, I just add the nightcap over the top like a satin scarf or satin cap along the top to protect the top of the hair now optional, styling and finished product. I, instead of keeping it back, decided that I wanted my bang to the front. So all I'm gon na do is round it in the front. Much like I did the bun and I'm securing it with one of the long line bobby pins. Just like I did. The bun very simple, guys um and you can make this look as texture as you like, like I said you could do it with a braid out. You could do it with a twist out. I didn't have much time after I washed my hair, so I just wore it out now. Of course I have to admire myself in the mirror and I'm singing. I need that by Jay Cole, of course, but uh. That'S it guys. Here'S some pictures for you to see more from me, such as natural hair videos and weight loss, videos, click on the videos and it'll.
