Hi, my name is Danielle Valiente with atmosphere salon and our question is: how do I get my bangs to lay flat, so what you're going to need is a relaxing balm and I like a 4:13 brush for styling. This look and a blow-dryer I'm going to take one pump of the relaxing balm and I'm going to apply it to the bangs. Now, when it comes to styling bangs, there's a couple important key points: if you let the bangs dry too much before you begin to style them what's going to happen, is the cowlicks are going to already start to form and you're not going to be able to Get them to lay flat! So if you notice that they've already started to dry just take a spray bottle and Reese a-eight them, because you want them to be pretty wet when you start to dry them, because you're going to be able to get the most control. So we're going to work the bangs back and forth blow drying them back and forth in both directions and as we're working towards the right side of the face, we're going to be directing the dryer in that direction and I'm keeping it nice and flat. Because I don't want to create too much lift, then we're going to switch and dry them back in the opposite direction and by drying the bangs in this manner. What you're getting is way more control, so you're able to work out any of those colics. The hair is going to come right out of the root and just lay nicely and have a great shape to it, because you're using that head, almost like a big giant roller and you just keep repeating that process over and over again wrapping the hair from side To side and as you can see, it's bringing out the shine in the hair, so we're already getting more shine, but we're also getting that control that we need that allows those bangs to lay nice and flat and you'll probably have to wrap it back and forth. I'D say three or four times, maybe more, depending on how thick your hair is. After you blow-dry, you can take a smoothing iron to your bangs if you choose to to also help them lay flat, but that's just some great tips for how to get your bangs to lay flat. You
