So I Did A Twist Out On This Wig From Amazon & I'M In Love | Kinky Curly Afro Wig With Bangs

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, akilah, also known as kilamazing, and today we are doing a twist out on this amazon wig. I made a video about this wig and received a really good response. I bought this wig on a whim and i was pleasantly surprised because, honestly, all the wig is everything i love this wig. You guys love this wig, so i'll definitely be sure to link it down below in the description, but, as i mentioned in the previous video, i want to experiment with this hair and see how a twist out will look. So that's what we doing today. This is what the hair is looking like. It needs to be washed, it's very dry, so first things. First, i'm going to go ahead and take this shampoo from shea moisture. This is from their wig and weave collection, but we're gon na go ahead and give her a real good, wash by the way, i'll be sure to link everything that i mentioned in this video down below in the description box. Okay, so once i'm done, i'm going in with this main magic primer by eva nyc and just prepping, the hair for detangling, and i'm also going in with kinky curly's, not today, leave-in detangler. This is literally one of my favorite natural hair products ever, but once that's applied, i'm going in with a wide tooth comb and combing through these curls getting those tangles out. I definitely think a wet brush, maybe would have worked a little bit better, but this got the job done and we didn't have too much shedding and to twist it out i'm using carol's daughter's cocoa cream. I love this product to do twist outs for my natural hair, so i figured i want to try it on this wig. So i'm really just doing your basic twist out. The twists are not perfect, but you know i kind of want to do like a chunky. Twist out, because i did want to keep a good amount of volume - and here are the twists once i'm done - i actually ended up letting these air dry for a few days, because i was doing some traveling, but i would definitely recommend giving the twist a day To dry down but yeah, this is what the twists are looking like once i'm back, they are already be taken down. So i'm just gon na put this thing on my head, which is literally my favorite thing about this wig. The fact that i can just put it on and go, i don't have to worry about no edges laying slaying, none of that i'm using chi naturals. This is their olive in silk oil, but i just applied that to the twist before unraveling them to give them some shine. Some luster a little moisture all that, but this is what it's looking like once all the twists are unraveled. I did go in and separate them a little bit because y'all know i like it big. You know i like it voluminous and fluffy i'm going in with the wide tooth comb and fluffing it up a little bit more, but yeah y'all the twist out came out just as i expected it to, because this wig is nothing short of amazing. I would ten out of ten recommend. I love how defined this twist out came out and i just love how closely this resembles natural hair and not to mention that this wig is so versatile, i'm so inspired to do like a braid out or even blow it out and put some wand curls in It like i just want to have fun like y'all stay tuned, stay tuned, but yeah like i said.
