Hi, i'm jen pray manager for cebu international, and today i am going to show you how to make otherwise straight flat, hair, curly and natural and bouncy using cebu and some hot rollers um. To do my hair, like this, i shampooed with our shanghai volumizing, shampoo and conditioner, which looks like this reaching into my shower right here. Very pretty. It matches my outfit um, the shampoo, it's our new launch. The shampoo is formulated to kind of texturize lack of a more scientific way to describe it, texturize each individual pull up different levels of the cuticle layer and lift them. So it looks like the hair is thicker and then the conditioner. It smells really good too. The conditioner is formulated to complement that it's really just a lightweight everyday conditioner, both are color safe and they have lotus flour and bamboo, and water lily and white tea and green tea ginseng a whole bunch of fun stuff, no short chain alcohols which are bad. They dry your hair out only saterial and acetyl, which is probably the wrong way to say it: alcohol to uses binding agents anyway, that's what i started with and then when my hair was wet, i used i'm new to this. Aubrey was trying to teach me how but she's a professional i used about a, and this is our shanghai volumizing mousse. Also new and cute matches my dress um. I used about a golf ball size of that worked it through my hair when it was wet and blow dried. I didn't do it with a round brush or style in any particular way. When i was blow drying because i knew i was going to do the rollers, so let me get rid of that wipe my hands to roll the hair in the rollers. My hot rollers are old. I got them at cvs like 10 years ago, literally eight years ago, um. So you don't need big professional. I don't think they even make professional hot rollers so to make bouncy curls while they're setting i'm going to use two particular sibu products. One is origami. This is the trial size. It'S not trials travel size that we have in the stores now and the other one is our faux finish. Styling spray, the origami is, has it's a pomade? It has flexible, styling fibers in it. You can use it a few different ways. The way i'm going to use it look and go like that they go around. Is i'm going to do this all around my hair while it's dry kind of work it in and then, as i section each piece since it's on my fingers, i'm going to kind of roll the hair through my fingertips and what that's going to do at least What i've found that it does when i've done this before it makes the curls when they're done kind of boingy and pliable, so do that and then roll i like using hot rollers, especially when my hair is grown out and needs a cut like it does now, Because, even if it's imperfect it looks, i don't know, it looks natural and bouncy and safe for the time it takes to roll the hair. It'S a lot less annoying. For me at least probably a lot of other people who aren't stylist, then round brushing to dry the hair and make it look like it's got a shape to it. So, like i said, i've already put origami all around and as i'm taking out each piece, i'm smoothing my fingertips down the hair because it still has product on it and that actually helps see. I'M not perfect, i'm not a stylist. I just play one on youtube. I'M not perfect either, but you do want to make some neat rolls. Otherwise, you'll have what anne ratner my boss calls fishtails or crimps. Look like you just don't know how to use your rollers and i'm using a range of sizes. I don't really have a scientific method for it. I like to use the big ones on top because it i don't want like tight curls on the top and little ones underneath, but styles, probably advise me that that's not the best way, but whatever we're, not scientists. We'Re just trying to have pretty hair. My bangs, i probably should have - i probably - should have taken the time to round brush them when they were wet to shape, because i'd rather have to bang straight because when they're too curly, it looks kind of odd. I'M going to put a little bit more of the origami on my fingers because i don't have any left seeing it. Actually, it is pretty quick to do my rollers have a velcro on them and they did come with like the clips, but i think the velcro just holds it perfectly fine, and if you don't have origami or sibu faux finish hairspray, you could do this. Origami is a good pomade to do it because it does have those styling fibers in it and it stretches through the hair um. But you could do this and then spray it like another way. I'M going to use faux finish at the end. Hold it all, but if i didn't have origami you can spray individual sections with a working spray and that'll help hold them too. So there we go. Oh i'm surprised it's going so quickly. Maybe i should film myself doing my hair all the time. Let'S see - and you can see i'm doing it blind in the back, because i don't know i've done it so many times. I can just kind of feel that the way my hair is. This is a great length, at least for my haircut, for doing the hot rollers when it's cut like i like it right around here, thick bangs. That'S my new look. I like katie holmes. You can't really use curlers because it just looks weird it's too short, but look i think i got all of it. The origami really does help keep the hair in. I did look at that. Look at that so to to set it while it's sitting, i'm just going to spray my whole head with faux finish. The finish is light. Our styles are like. I want a stronger hairspray sometimes, but it's not supposed to be like a freezing spray. It'S supposed to be a working spray where you use it to do things like this, so it's got enough hold so that it holds the hair when it's in rollers or when you're using a curling iron, because you can do the same thing with curling iron. But then you can layer it on, so that it's not so frozen and as you're using more and more of it while you're stying the hair, it's just going to stay and be very movable and bouncy. So i'm going to push pause while these sit and heat up, i'll, probably leave them on for about it, doesn't really matter. You can get away with a nice do all day long if you leave them on for 10 minutes, but i have some emails to check because i do care about my cebu customers even on memorial day. So i'm probably gon na sit down with these on. For about half an hour and we'll come back and see what it looks like, okay braces, i hate them actually they're, not that bad they're gon na look really good when they're off. Okay,

Skylozz21: Awsome! Quick and easy, Just what every girl needs!!! :D Keep it up!

Cibuforhair: of course I can help! and this was my very first vid, i've def gotten better at them. You should try hot rollers with velcro/nubby texture on them. prep your hair sections with a little hair spray and then spray your entire head while the rollers set. good luck! no worries, i appreciate you watching. xoxo jenn

Cibuforhair: practice makes perfect! i really find that velcro backed rollers help with curling dexterity:)

Cibuforhair: yep, they stick with velcro. they're conair and quite old but i think they still make them. they came with clips but they stick really well without them -- thanks for watching! xoxo jenn

Cibuforhair: You're right -- most shampoos do contain sulfates, which are actually cleansing agents. Sulfates pull the dirt and grime out of your hair. They also create lather. I am working on a sulfate free version of Geishalicous Color Protecting shampoo for launch later this year.

Shane Koka: this is hilarious and very informative. :) you have a great personality for these kind of things..

AubreyKaye: love it jenn!!!

ab2063: Hi, I was wondering where Cibu Products are available, I am interested. Are they available in regular stores or only on the website? Thanks :)

Cibuforhair: They are old! I got them at Revco a long time ago. Conair I think. But they're great. Perfect hold. Too bad I cut off all my hair.

AluryNinia: Hell, that hair look so shinny and smooth !!

Cibuforhair: Hi love -- you should try working that wave. all you need is gel and a diffuser. trust me. shampoo, conditioner, comb a quarter size squirt of gel through your hair and diffuse until 75% dry OR Let air dry 100%. dont touch while its drying! When dry, work some light - med. weight pomade through hair and pin in sections with bobbies. It's easy! I'll do video next week for you. Thanks for the order:) xoxo jenn

Just Li: What kind of rollers are those?? I know you got them a long time ago but they don't use clips!! That is great!

Cibuforhair: Oh it's not that short, just a nice cropped bob. Not long enough to curl though! I will do a video with my new hair soon. Thanks for the complement though:) Haven't changed my color yet but really need new highlights.

Cibuforhair: yep, cibu loves women of color! check out our videos-- we have some specifically on how to use cibu on ethnic hair. let me know if you want product suggestions!
