Double Bangs Hairstyle Hairpin Headband | First Impressions & Review

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel today, we've got another very exciting video for you guys, but before we jump into the video, if you're new here, welcome, don't forget to like and subscribe to be part of our family. We discuss all things, hair and makeup for the young at heart, so today's video is about the double bangs hairstyle hairpin headband. So i've seen this on amazon and i was keen to review it. This headband has been quite popular on social media, so i thought i'll test it out. So i think from the looks of it. This headband is for uh people that have a fringe or a bank, and there are clips on top of the headband so that you can clip away the your bangs or your fringe. So i'm not sure if it's gon na work on my hair, but let's try it out. I'Ve got some shorter sections. So that's my shorter section that frame my face. So we will see if we can clip that back with a headband and it's always nice to find a headband that you can wear for any occasion, not necessarily for people that have a fringe. So i ordered it on amazon and i'll leave a link below as to where i got it from, and it came in a packet like that and it's actually called the hair twister and, at the back it says, put the barrette on your head first and grab A handful of hair curl them up as a hank. I don't know what a hank is, but anyway then clamp that hank of hair to the clamp repeat above and you will look nice according to personal preference decision, clip usage. So not a lot of information there about how to do it, so we're gon na wing this and see how we go okay. So i'm just gon na open up this package and i ordered the color in black just so that it stands out. My hair color is black. I do dye it, but i just thought the black might be nice, um contrast for my hair. So that's what it looks like and you can see there are little clips on the top, and that is where i'm assuming you twist your bangs to it feels okay. It doesn't feel that sturdy, but it feels okay, it doesn't feel too cheap. Um there are teeth. I don't know if you can see that but teeth on the in inside and that's supposed to keep the rest of your hair secure and on place. So let's put this on and see how we go okay, so the first thing is um the way i'm gon na do it is i'm just gon na pop it on my hair, leaving the shorter sections of my hair in front, because the whole point is for The fringe and the rest of it i'm going to just put behind my ear just to make it easier and then pop this on top like that. So then, in terms of these front sections, what i've seen in the videos about this particular product is that you essentially just take little bits at a time and put it and twist it through the clip sections of the hair. So, let's see how easy that is going to be, i must say, the clips are quite sturdy. There are one two three four uh clips facing that way and four that way. So what i might do is divide my hair up into four sections. So one two three and four and start with the back sections first, so you twist i'm assuming i'm gon na twist away from my face, because that's how i usually do my hair and open the clip up and pop it in then the section second section: i'm Going to twist and pop that in as well third section twist pop that in and the last section as well up the top there, so that was fairly easy to do and um it's secured, i'm not having bits of hair fall out. So that is quite nice. On that side - and we will do the same on this side - definitely work for someone that does have a short fringe and quite nice actually to take it away from your face um, i suppose a normal hair band will do the same, but what i think this Does is give it a little bit more texture to your hair, and it also um gives a bit more volume around your face than a normal headband would now sometimes what a headband does. It makes it very, very tight and flat in the front, and what this seems to be doing is that it gives a little bit more volume and allows the hair to kind of um frame the face a little bit better, because those smaller sections then are coming Up to around your face here, because you're twisting it back and allowing it to fall through, so it's like a layer on top of a layer if that makes sense, so that's what gives it the volume, so i do like it. Actually, i think, it'll be really good for school. It would be really good for work. It actually doesn't look too girly. I suppose not that that's a bad thing, but what i mean is it'll, be okay for work, um and and places like that. So really like that, so guys i thought, because my hair is so long. We might actually try it with someone that used to have bangs. Now this is my daughter, ashley and what she has she's got long hair, but a while ago she cut her bangs and her bangs fringe. Now is about that long. So again, probably not the best type of hair to do this experiment on so did you just want to hold your hair out the front ashley? The things now just tie the rest of it back just to make it easier and then we'll pop the hairband on. So what we'll do is just split it, so you can see. So these are her bangs and i will just take the little bits twist open a clip and pop it in second section twist open the clip and pop that in okay. So we'll start on this side, so the same process just put it into four, because there are four um clips on this side: twisting the hair and taking it to the back, and that is the hairband. So it's something she can wear for school or going out with her friends and if she wanted to tie it up as well, she could do it with the hairband. What do you think ashley? What do you think about the hairband i like it? I like how like the volume at the top, that's exactly what i said as well: the volume up the top it gives because of the hair band. So it's not plastic back. Is it no okay? So it costs me ten dollars, australian, so not bad! I think not not a bad little asset and pretty secure. Actually, it's not flipping off my hair. It'S not sliding off my hair um and those little teeth. Like i said at the start, i was a bit worried whether that that would keep my thick hair, but it seems to be doing it.
