Hey everybody welcome back to my channel. Thank you guys so much for tuning in today's video is about how I maintain these bangs, so they've gotten really long. I know that uh. This is their. I frankly like the two long bang look, I think it's sultry and sexy, but these are officially annoying like they are past my eyes. Now I try to get them trimmed regularly, but it's been so busy. I just haven't had the chance, so I get a ton of requests for how I maintain my bangs. So here is the video I've listed out. The steps and the whole process that I take for maintaining this particular look, and also the blunt bangs having bangs is super easy. Honestly, I feel a lot of people are a little intimidated by bangs or worried that they're gon na look like a little kid, but I've absolutely totally been enjoying them and I get a million compliments on them. So yeah here is my video on how to maintain your bangs, but before we get started, please please please subscribe to my channel and leave me any comments or questions in the comment section. I will read them all and answer as many as I can yeah. So, let's get started, let's see how to maintain this look. I get my bangs trimmed every month to six weeks, but I've been lazy lately and I have not gotten them trimmed in forever. So here you go. You can see they're super long, they're, officially annoying and when I got like the blunt style, I can't see anything but yeah they're too long, so I've been wearing them kind of like this, and I will show you how I achieve that and basically how I maintain My bangs overall, so let's get started so the tools I use for achieving this look I'll start from the. So basically I will wash my hair and you guys know that I let my hair air dry for the most part it was taking too long. Yes, I will blow dry, but that's pretty infrequent. I will wash my hair section it in the middle of the part. I'Ve been doing the side swept bangs, so I've been doing a little bit of an off center part lately, and I will comb my wet bangs down with a fine little comb. You know with the point on the end. This is great for parts and stuff like that, and I will just comb them down a little tangled on the end there like that, while they're wet and let them air dry, they air dry, pretty crazy, like kinky some long parts, they're, really kinky and kind of Straight out, like that, so pretty unflattering, but hey it's part of the process. So once it's done air being air dried, I put a little bit of oil, usually sweet almond oil, because I find it a little lighter than coconut oil and definitely lighter than you know. Jamaican black, castor oil or Haitian black, castor oil, because I don't want my bangs to get too weighed down - I don't put too much in my bangs, mainly because I have a super oily scalp and super oily skin, which means that my bangs get super oily really Fast when they get really oily, they look clumpy and disgusting, and then they'll have zero body and they'll just stick to my forehead and and look nuts. So that's why I don't put too much in my bangs, then I take my flat iron. I use this TI. Tron sorry tight Ron flat iron from trade secrets, so it's not cold TI tron. It'S called tight Ron. Cuz scott titanium plates didn't know that, so I will um a comb out my air dried bangs, and then I usually section them with the pick comb like so just like that there you go section them just a little bit more and I will clip them with An alligator clip which I forgotten and I'm not getting up again to get one. So that is about half my bangs and I take I'll just comb them out a little bit with that comb. That I've used to secure the rest of my hair and I will Flatiron just down like that. I know Ben's, no, nothing because you don't want any like I do. I don't want a crazy kink in my bangs or a mega curl, because I don't want to look like a you know, bangs that you had when you were five, so I just go down like that. My flat iron is not on by the way. I just want to show you what I do so I just I just go like that and then I do the rest. I that's only when I wash my hair, it's only when I wash my hair. I do not flat iron, my bangs on a daily basis. That'S just a recipe for split ends: dried hair, breakage. Okay. What I do do, though, is I will you know on let's say the day after I've washed my hair throughout the week I will take a round brush and take a blow dryer, and you know blow out my hair, like that. So I'll just show you quickly. I'Ve got my trusty hair dryer, I put it on medium heat, I rarely put it on high and cool. I just find it's useless and then I get to blow drying so I'll, just comb it over like so and I've got my sights what things and I'm all good to go so pretty easy, um, pretty easy maintenance throughout the week. When, let's say I don't I'll say by Wednesday, that's okay, so let's say I've washed my hair on Sunday. It'S that my bangs are good for the Sunday Monday and Tuesday by Wednesday they're starting to look pretty greasy. So I will take a you know. I'Ll take shampoo, always a moisturizing shampoo and I will wash them so I just take my bangs wash them in like with just one squirt of just a little bit of shampoo, not too much like one squirt and I'll. Just wash them just massaging the roots and the hair, and I just do that once you know, and then I rinse them out and I'll use my joy, co, moisture recovery, conditioner put it on my bangs, let it sit for not too long minute or two comb. It out wash it out and then I will take a big t-shirt pick. My cotton t-shirt. Towel dry it a bit until it's fairly. You know, I would just say damp and then again I will take my round brush and the hair dryer and just blow-dry it until it's totally dry and I don't bother flat iron flat, ironing, my bangs or anything because they're like the round brush and the blow Dryer just does such a good job and then yeah, I'm good for another three to four days until I wash my hair again so just a side note, when I wash my hair, I wash my hair weekly. I do deep condition my hair every time I wash my hair. I do deep condition my bangs too, so it's only when I wash my banks throughout the week where I use a lighter conditioner. I always deep condition all of my hair once a week yeah for those of you who work it out. I work out a lot. I'Ve been running a lot outside, so I sweat like a pig like I sweat, like a man, I hate that about myself. I'Ll be running and by the end, is just buckets of sweat, it's disgusting, so I will take one of these silver alligator clips or I've got these little black clips. Let me find one we use one of these clips here, guys. No, they snap and I will take my bangs and just move them up and clip them up like this, so that they're, not in my face when I'm running the day after running. I will just like slick my bangs down and wear my hair into a bun, because they're just gon na be a greasy mess and I can't do anything to them until I wash them wash them next so yeah. That is what I do for keeping them out of my face, while I am exercising so lastly night time. What do I do with my bangs? So what my bangs are, like blunt, cut all the way down. You know like so uh and they're, nice and short and a manageable length. I will comb out my hair before bed and, like I can't when I have my bangs, I can't really wrap my hair. You know and the sort of beehive style so yeah, it's a whole production, getting my bangs to look normal in the morning if I've wrapped my hair they're, usually like over here slicked for my head. When I wrap my hair, I will take, and now that my hair has gotten longer, I I'm not wrapping it anymore. What I do is, I part my hair down the center just with my fingers like this, so I part my hair down the center and I take my wide tooth comb give my hair a quick comb you're supposed to start from the ends working your way up. So I comb out both sides. There we go and uh take one of the silver clips. Alright and yeah just bring it around like this, and I clip it to my my head. There you go kind of sticks out there. I could probably do it on the diagonal - oh my god, these bangs, so I just stick it. You can see it kind of like sticking up there and then I take the other side and do the same thing. Another silver clip. Stick it to the side, clip it to the side, they would go and there look huh sort of cute kind of like that. So I'm just going to tuck this in and I take my super trashy looking head scarf, so I gon na wrap my hair. So I just flip it over it like this comes up like that, I'm pulling the this little section down and then I didn't no not like this. I'M tucking the ends in there. We go okay and we've got the edges. You see sticking out a bit like this, but yeah. I leave my bangs out, while I'm sleeping they're not really going to touch my cotton pillowcase and have all the moisture sucked out of them and generally, when I wake up in the morning, my bangs are perfect. I don't need to do anything to them if I feel that they're a little flat or something yeah I'll, take the round brush and blow them out a bit, but that is that is it and the rest of my hair when I wrap it, this way turns Out pretty pretty straight, I don't have any kinks or anything that I need to get rid of. I am loving this easy kind of head, wrap I'll. Do a separate video on how I wrap my hair so that you guys can get a better idea. It'S not rushed but yeah, so I'm just going to take this off like so ow and unclip it go and voila. That is how I live with bangs. So if you have any questions or comments or suggestions on how I could do better with these things, I would love to hear them. It will list out the products and tools and appliances that I've used in the description box also just to let you guys know it is September now, so I'm actually going to grow out the bangs for the winter. I do not go outside in the late fall or winter, with my hair uncovered. I just feel that it is too cold. It sucks all the Moi's, the cold sucks, all the moisture out of your hair and skin, and it just causes breakage. So I always wear hat the hat: just ruins bangs! So I'm going to oh I'm going to get rid of my bangs for the winter, but maybe they'll be back for next summer, so yeah. That is how I live with my bangs and how I maintain my bangs. So thank you so much for watching. Don'T forget to give me the big thumbs up and subscribe to my video, I'm so thrilled that all of you guys have subscribed and follow a rant along my little adventures. It'S greatly appreciated. Thank you so much so bye for now. Thank you so much for watching
