Hey guys welcome back to my channel, as you can tell by the title of this video I'm gon na be cutting my own bangs today, which may sound crazy is claimer. This video is not meant to be a tutorial. I am NOT a professional. This is just something that I wanted to do, and I thought I would put it on a camera for you guys so that you can see it and how I'm doing it as well. I'Ve been wanting bangs for a while I've been thinking about it, but I didn't actually think I would cut them myself. I don't really trust hairdresser as crazy, as that seems to cut the kind of things that I want exactly how I want them. I'M gon na try to do it myself. We'Re gon na see how it goes and you guys are gon na be here with me. So let's get started, I'm really nervous, as you can tell. I have been like shaking ever since, like for the last hour, so we're gon na see all right, so I'm gon na start by making a triangle. I already parted my hair down the center. I'M just gon na make a triangle here about how thick I want. My bangs to be so I'm just gon na start about right here go over just my triangle, even as you can see, my hair is naturally running to separate here. My hair is not used to being parted in the center. All that often so it is going to take a minute to train my hair, but I'm really hoping it's not gon na do like weird separating stuff and look awful you're gon na. Do this I'm going to trim the bottom first? Okay! So what happened? Last few minutes: first, I cut my thumb on the scissors, so that's great, I didn't have a band-aid, so I had to do a little improvising. It'S just gon na have to do until I can get to a band-aid, and also I just want to say these scissors that I just bought brand-new haircutting scissors. I didn't get to anywhere that had better quality sisters. Today I figured this would work, I guess not. Um, I know this is crazy. I think I'm gon na go with the scissors, because I think it's a lot better. I know it's not made for haircutting but um, I'm kind of already in this now, so I'm gon na keep going. This is insane, but we're gon na. Do it? Okay! So there's no going back now and that's crooked! Oh my gosh a little bit about here and oh my gosh, I'm shaking so much so holy cow, there's, hair everywhere and I hold my hair like this and I'm gon na start cutting upwards into the hair. Because that's what's going to give that PC vibe that I want! Okay, I'm so scared to go shorter, I'm not going to cut any more links off after this, I'm just gon na cut upwards into the hair. Now I'm just going to take the middle part! Really these side pieces out, if you can't see anything so I'm gon na keep cutting I'm just gon na, take the piece from either side and just pin it back, because I could want to make it too much shorter but so not used to hair. That'S like literally in my eyes or hair all over my face, I'm not used to being in my eyes. I feel, like you, don't even like this. I'M gon na take these pieces out a little bit long on this side. Okay guys! So I'm all done - and this is how my hair looks - I wanted to get ready to do my hair a little bit put on some makeup and see how it would look when I'm styled so yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I like how this turned out, but I'm a little bit nervous too, because I've never had bands. I never really thought that I would and they're kind of like really long, but I do really like how they look yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching. I had bangs all through middle and high school, but I grew them out because I heard so many times that only "certain people" can "pull them off" and that they don't look "mature". Lemme tell you: ANYONE CAN HAVE BANGS!!! And if you like them, then that's all that matters. Who cares about if it "suits" you or not. If you want bangs, cut your bangs. I cut mine two days ago after watching this video and I like them! I cut off a ton of damage from bleach and I can clip them up easily and hairspray them. Also, it's just hair. And you only have one life on earth. And this is the best time to experiment.

I tried to go without bangs for a while after my husband wanted me to grow them out, but it took soooo long to style my waves and I looked wired without bangs to cover my hairline and forehead (square face shape) I've been told I look younger with bangs. Plus it's easier for me to wash and go with curly bangs. I didn't feel as attractive without bangs because of my hairline and forehead. You're beautiful either way since you have a nice and forehead.
