Cutting Curtain Bangs At Home & How To Style Them

Hi guys, i'm just simply bored, and what do i do when i'm bored i chop my hair off or color it it's gon na, be fine! It'S a wonderful trait that i have so today, i'm going to be cutting some bangs or like curtain bang-ish. It'S kind of like a half bang and then a half curtain bang. So i don't know what to call it. I know that curtain bangs are okay. I think the noise is finally over. I wanted this video to be a peaceful, relaxing video, but you know what i'm just gon na have to voice over this, because they are not stopping i'm not gon na stop either so enjoy my voice over all right. Let'S do this so first, i'm gon na part, my hair into a section that looks like a triangle, and here you get to decide on how much hair or how thick you want your bangs to be. I want them pretty thick, so i'm going to pull a decent amount of hair from the back down to my eyebrows. So that's going to be your guide. The lines don't need to be perfect in my opinion, but i do like to part it somewhat nice so that it looks clean. While i cut it just way, less stressful. That way, so i'm just gon na fix it. Until i get the lines that i want and at the end you will have a section that looks like a triangle, then i'm spraying my hair with some water, so that it's easier to work with i've cut. My bangs without wetting it before and it just gets really messy and really hard to work with, in my opinion, so just spray it with some water and you are good to go. It'S way easier. That way. Promise you combing everything to the front so that it looks neat and even sorry for looking like the grudge for a split second there. Now i'm pulling that section down to my nose and i'm cutting it right beneath my nose if you want to play it safe. I recommend you cutting it, maybe by your mouth or maybe by your bottom lip and then you adjust as you go, rather that you cut it too long and can adjust it later on then cutting it too short and regretting the whole thing. Trust me: i've been there. I, like my curtain, bangs a little bit shorter, so i'm cutting it right below my nose. That'S what works best for me, ew gross! Now i'm going to section it to the middle. Since i rarely do side parts, then i'm combing my hair to one side like this and now i point cut it until i get a straight line-ish as you can see here so now, when you let go of your hair, you get this. Nice diagonal fall and don't worry if it's not perfect, we are going to fix it later on. This is just a guide. I don't know about you guys, but i always feel, like one side always turns out better than the other side. It'S kind of like your face where you feel like you, have a better side same thing with my bangs. I always get more unhappy with one side, but don't be scared. It'S okay! If it's not twins really take your time when you are cutting your hair, the worst thing ever is cutting your hair. When you are in a rush or when you are stressed here, i'm just adjusting the cut a little bit. It'S a little bit easier to adjust because i already have a guideline from the previous. You know comb to the side cut. Now i'm just deciding on what length i want and just perfecting the bangs, i guess always point cut for the best results. It looks more natural that way. I also want shorter pieces in the middle, so i'm just combing the middle part together like this and then chopping them to an even length same thing. There don't go too short once you style it, it will be shorter than the length that you cut it all right. So this is what it looks like without it being styled or anything, i'm just gon na go and style it real quick. So you guys can see the potential it has and when i style my bangs, i use a straightener, i'm curving the straightener just a little bit so that i get a slight curl to it. And then i move my hand away from my face to get a swoop on the parts that are a little bit longer and i don't use a blow dryer, because i don't own one and i feel like i mean it looks hard. So i mean i haven't. Even tried, but it looks hard now you can keep it like that or you can take the middle part and mash it together like this, so that you kind of get like a bang with curtain bangs. If that makes sense, i do not know what to call my bangs, but i'm calling them curtain bangs, because they're kind of issued curtain banks now i do have a full video, where i style my bangs in four different ways with a straightener. I guess and bangs are so cute with an updo. So here you can see how it looks like with a simple ponytail or you can curl your hair. It looks super cute as well. I feel, like all styles, just look cuter with bangs or curtain bangs, and here i'm doing a curly updo or just like a high curly messy bund. Very pretty. I can't wait for my hair to grow a little bit longer so that i can achieve this. Look for the summer, i might get some extensions.
