We'Re cutting your hair, so everybody can see how we cut your base: hello, beautiful, hair, lounge community. My name is Angelina and we're in the hair lounge. Today, I'm going to show you how to cut your little ones. Bangs. Oh there's my trusty. You do not have to do this on just your little ones bangs. This is also gon na help. You learn how to cut your own bangs. This is my lovely assistant. Can you tell them what your name is hey? This is Paisley. This is my daughter and she is gon na, be our good client today, right, okay and tell them what we're gon na do. Yeah we're gon na cut her bangs, so stay tuned and we'll get right into it. Okay, are you ready, yeah? Okay, we have a booster seat for Paisley's and we have not done anything to her hair. It'S just what she woke up with. We did curl it a little didn't. Did we put curls in it? So now we're going to take a case. If you do not have a cape at home, that is okay. We will you can use a towel to put a towel over the top of them, but we're going to use a case. We'Re gon na get her hair out and remember. We are just doing her bangs. So what we like to do is I always like to cut hair when it is sprayed and it's wet. The reason why is whenever hair is dry, it kind of floats around and it gets on their face and you can kind of breathe it in it's a little irritating for little kids. So, if you can do this, I would suggest doing it after they take a bath good job and whenever you are cutting bangs, you need to make sure you kind of figure out whatever is going to be falling forward and you want to make sure you are Getting even sections so for hers, I do kind of more of a triangle section and then the hair that we are not going to cut we're gon na pin back. So we just twist it use our cute little clip and pull it out of her face. So you have to make sure we are giving all of the hair that we don't want to cut out of your face. Okay, oh yeah. After we're finished, we will take it out all right so now, since she is all section, so I'm going to spray for bangs again, some kids do not like their hair sprayed. So this is why it's good to do it after they get out of the bath, but Paisley you've been doing this forever. Huh nice work babe, okay! So now we are going to just comb her bangs straight down and when you're cutting their bangs, you want to make sure I know we got to cut those huh. You want to make sure you're taking scissors and you're going in straight up and down, because if you go across it gets a very blunt line in there and kind of looks like mom. Did the babies at home so going straight in feathers those ends? So it's not a super blunt cut and it's easier to blend it. So I always like to tell them to close your eyes, so you don't get it in your eyes and then you want to make sure when you're holding their hair, you are holding it as close as you can get to their actual face. Don'T hold it up. Like this, because you're gon na get various links in their hair ready, so when you go in you just cut kind of at an angle and point cut. So if you look at it, you hit have all these various links in there and that's gon na get it so it doesn't have that super blunt line and it feather. Is it just a little bit and less is more. You want to make sure your baby. I know you do less is more, you want to make sure you're being conservative on your first initial cut. You could always go back and cut more. If you cut too much off first at the beginning, then it ends up messing it up and you can't go back and put hair back on. You can always go back and cut it more you're doing such a good job yeah, I'm using my scissors. They are very sharp, okay, so now we're gon na move on to this other side. Yeah, hey, stay very still, and we are going to cut this other side same going in, as I call it a point cut that is roughly what it looks like. Then I like to tell them close your eyes and I take a blow dryer just to get all those little hairs off their face close your eyes, but, as you can see, she's done this before some little kids, don't like the dryer in their face. As of right now, this is kind of what we're working with her veins are a little bit thicker, because if it's not super thick, then she has kind of holes on the sides. What I like to do to make it not so thick and heavy-looking is: I will layer them. You do not have to do this. This is only if you feel advanced, but you kind of grab the hair and you hold it up at an angle and you let that front base perimeter of the bangs down, and this is all that you're going to be layering and still going in at an Angle and cutting that same thing on this other side, pull it up and letting this hair fall down and that's not going to take away from your actual base link and then we're going to cut the top of this almost done. Babe you're doing such a good job. Okay, yeah right here, and I think we got it. Okay, so we're gon na. Let down your hair, you ready put your cake down whoo beautiful. So that is how you cut your little one things at home and off. She goes so I will tell you it is easier to do if you give them something to occupy themselves. So if you're not opposed to letting them watch, their favorite show we're letting them play with Legos or their baby dolls, or something to get them to sit. Still, I've been cutting Paisley's bangs ever since she was super super little, so I've kind of trained her to sit still, but, as you can see, she is done and ready to leave whenever it's over. I hope you guys, like this video, hopefully you're able to incorporate this into those in-between bang trims at home with your kids and if your bangs are getting a little bit long right now. You can also use this to trim. Yours just do not forget. Less is more thanks for watching we'll see guys next time. So you see you later say thanks for coming to the hair, lounge
