Hello, you guys and welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be showing you how i trim my micro betty bangs. This is actually a viewer request. So thank you so much for requesting this video. So the first thing we want to do when trimming our bangs is make sure that our hair is fully saturated. So i'm just using a misting setting on the spray bottle and spraying my bangs and then brushing the water through to make sure it's nice and evenly saturated once your fringe is completely saturated. You'Re gon na go ahead and start your sectioning. So i like to section straight down the middle and then create a v, so this is going to keep everything nice and neat and you're not going to lose your spot and you're going to be able to create a nice guide. This type of sectioning is called diagonal forward, so you're going to want to make a basically a capital v and the point needs to be at the center of your face. So everything comes out nice and even when sectioning i prefer to take eighth of an inch sections, the smaller the sections, the easier it's going to be to make sure everything is nice and even and straight, and that you're cutting everything where it should be so you're Going to come your hair straight down part in the middle and make sure that other side that you're not working with is out of the way and then you're going to comb straight down. Using the same angle that your sectioning is in. You really want to keep that comb in that same angle, the entire time that you're working with your hair. This is going to give you the angle for your haircut and once you're done with this side. You'Re going to use a part of that side to create your guide for your next side, and you want to make sure that you're continuing to have the comb at that same angle that your section is in. It should be parallel to the sectioning. This does take some practice, so if this is your first time trimming your bangs or doing betty bangs on yourself, i would definitely recommend cutting a little longer than you want that way. If you have a error or you mess up, you can trim it a little shorter, but you can never put hair back on so just make sure you're cutting a little longer than you actually want your bangs to be, and for the rest of the segment you're Going to be doing the same thing, taking 1 8 of an inch sections and following the angle that your section is in, you also want to make sure that your hair is always evenly saturated. Once your hair starts drying respray it once your hair dries, it will release tension in the hair, and it will cause your hair to be cut unevenly so make sure that your hair is evenly wet throughout. These bangs can be a little bit more on the difficult side to achieve at home on your own because they are such a blunt and precise cut. So just be careful that you're working slowly and doing small sections and only cutting off a little bit. At a time i have been wearing my bangs like this, probably since about 2015 2016, and they have really been part of my signature style now and i'm not sure if i'm ever gon na grow out of this style. I might i'm i'm really not sure it's been four or five years already. Let me know in the comments below what your signature hairstyle is like what your go-to haircut or bang or fringe. Let me know what your signature look is when it comes to your hair and for those of you that are still watching. Thank you so much for staying tuned, we're getting close to the very end of the wet cut and then afterwards, what we'll be doing is we're going to do a blow dry and then finesse, the final fringe. I definitely miss doing hair and i miss all of my clients. So if there's any clients that are watching this right now, just know that i miss you guys, and i can't wait to have you guys back in my chair. If you guys are one of my clients, please leave a purple heart down in the comment section. So i know that you guys are watching and with this last section since more in the center, i'm just pulling it straight down and cutting to my guide and you guys, if you guys need any product recommendations, definitely check out my full reviews on tg and my Other videos, i'll link them right up above in the cards and i'll, also have links in the product description down below, for you guys to check out also, if there's a certain product that you want me to try out and review. Please leave a comment down below letting me know what it is and next we are going to be blow-drying our hair and i am using a technique called flat wrapping, which is where you follow your comb with your brush against the head or scalp, and you take Section by section making sure to really get those roots, nice and dry and then also working through the ends as well. I have a cowlick on one side of my fringe, so it is very important if you do have a cowlick that you make sure you are flat wrapping very tight against the forehead. This is going to blow dry that cowlick right out and really help your fringe. Take that shape that you want it to for this type of bang. It is absolutely essential for you to blow dry your fringe after you cut it this way. We know it's nice and even and straight, if you let it air dry, it is going to dry to its natural wave pattern and it is not going to be straight and it's not going to be a nice blunt line, so you need to blow dry it Out and then go back in with your shears and make sure everything is nice and straight once you're done blow drying your fringe you're, going to go back in with your comb and comb, it gently out and then just trim where you think it needs to be Trimmed and when combing you don't want to over direct the hair, you want to comb it to where it naturally lives a lot of the times. What you can do is you can kind of tap the hair as well, and this will make the strands fall where they are naturally going to fall anyways. This is going to ensure that your bangs are going to look straight and have that precise line. Also, when trimming you're going to really just be using the tip of the shears and not the actual flat of the sheers, also you guys, if you haven't already, i would love it if you subscribed liked and left a comment. This definitely helps me out with my growth here on youtube, also be on the lookout. For this weekend, i will be announcing the official giveaway with all of the rolls. Let me know what you guys want to see. Next, i definitely love doing viewer request videos. So, thank you so much to the person who requested this, and i really hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. I know it was one of the longer ones. So thank you for hanging in there and let me know what else you guys want to see. Also, let me know if you guys have ever done your own bangs before or if this is going to be your first time trimming your bangs at home. You
