Hi everyone, my name, is Jenny Strube and today I'm really excited because I'm gon na show you guys how to cut your own bangs aka fringe. Now I recently just had my baby. I just got back from my maternity leave and I'm in a funk. I need to do something with my hair and I need to do it quick, so a side-swept fringe is the perfect way to update date. Your look without doing anything too dramatic to it. So I'm actually gon na show you how to cut your bangs two different ways. So the first way is going to be that for that woman, that's not quite dedicated to like a serious fringe, but they just want something a little different around the face. So I'm going to show you guys how to do that one first, so you want to part your hair in the middle first of all, so nice clean parting, and then you want to create a triangle section so from I like to go like one to two Inches away from the hairline now create a triangle section from your middle part, down to the tips of your eyebrows. Okay, so I have my triangle section so now: I'm just gon na comb, the hair down and with my fingers, create a straight line and I'm gon na go about below my lip area and take my shears and set up cutting them straight across I'm gon na Cut them at a slight angle: that's gon na give a lot of softness at the ends of your hair, and then you just release it. So this is like that grown out fringe, it's really popular on the Kardashians or a lot of Victoria's Secret models. So this is just kind of that grown out feel so that really gave my whole style a whole different. Look, so that's one option, but now I'm gon na get a little bit more dramatic with it and do a side set swept fringe. Now you want to figure out what side you want your fringe to sweep over to so I'm gon na go ahead and do it on my right over to my left. So I'm gon na create create a deep side parting and I kind of like to go from the hairline into the crown area, almost kind of at a slight angle and then from there. I'M gon na do kind of like a long triangle section down to the tip of my eyebrow okay, so my fringe is gon na sweep this way, but you actually want to cut it going this way. So what I like to do is go parallel to my part, so this parting right here I'm going to cut parallel to that party, so I'm going to pull it out figure out how short I want my fringe, so I want it about the nose area down. So that's going to hit somewhere right there. So now I'm gon na go ahead and cut the fringe, but I'm gon na do it at an angle and not straight across, because that's really gon na help give it a lot of softness and that wispy texture. So I'm just gon na cut here and then for that more advanced cutter, the Mora daredevil woman. You want to go in and slightly cut a little bit more of the hair. This is called deep point cutting and you almost want to hold your shears parallel and really cut in the ends. A little bit. Cuz, that's going to really help give it a softness and a wispy texture, and then you release and now you have side swept fringe and the cool thing about this is that if you wear it this way it's more short to long, but you can actually wear It the opposite way, and it's going to give you a longer fringe, so you guys have a couple options: alright, so there you guys, have it two easy ways to create a soft fringe to your hair and update your look completely now for more information and tips About hair, don't forget to subscribe to my channel
