Cutting My Own Curtain Bangs....

Oh, that chair is pretty gon na annoy me. Does the back look a bit dark like do? I need to put the lights on i'm just gon na leave it and see how it goes, hello, everybody and welcome, or welcome back to another video um. So you want to have to excuse my appearance. Um i've just been at school the whole day, i'm actually still wearing my school thingy. So, basically, basically, basically earlier on this week, um i tried to recut my um what they called like face frame bits. I guess um because i have like shorter bits here at the front that just kind of frame my face and that did not go so well and i ended up cutting these pieces, which i don't know if you can tell but they're quite short and more like Curtain bangs um and then i actually um you know i didn't think i looked good with them. I thought you know they just kind of look really bad, then i actually styled them and they looked really good um. So then i was like okay. So what do i do now? Do you know what i mean i was like? I could go to the hairdresser book, an appointment. I could get my hairdresser to do it, but where's the fun in that, and i genuinely think i can do them by myself. You know, i'm not just gon na make a trip to the hairdresser's just to get some curtain bangs, but i can do it at home. So obviously i have no experience. The first thing i'm going to do is watch some youtube. Videos find a youtube video. It gives me good advice, okay, so i am back having watched um two videos um, which i think is enough. Okay, i'm gon na hope it's enough anyway, um. So i watched brad, mondo's, video and um a rebar purveys video. I don't know how you say that, but i'll leave them linked down below if anyone wants to try this out, no one's going to want to try it out. But here we are one thing that they did say or brandon said at least um. Was that don't do it when your hair is wet, which is what led me to this in the first place, because i did it when my hair was wet and obviously when your hair is wet, it kind of stretches out a little bit more like this. When it was where it was literally at my chin - and i was like okay, that's fine and then now it's bounced back up. It'S like my mouth, which is an awkward length. I'M gon na use eyebrow scissors because i feel like they're sharper and they are actually made for cutting hair, although it is eyebrow hair, it's still hair and you also need a comb just take from there down to the tail of your eyebrow and that's a section And then take the other section, i think that's the amount we're going to be cutting roughly okay, i'm going to go ahead and tie the rest of my hair back. I am starting off with a smaller section, just because i just i don't really know how much hair i want in here and how much hair is a lot hair a lot. My mom's calling me okay, hello, i'm back sorry about that. Essentially, i want like the shortest bit to be at my nose dish. Gon na be hard. What i think i'm gon na do take that that's sort of the angle that i want comb it and just follow through with my fingers, to the angle that i want and then just cut it. So, let's try that to begin with. Okay, i'm actually going to be cutting off that much so wish me luck! Oh my god! Snip snip snip snip! So that's not exactly like the angle that i went for, but that's quite a bit of hair. So that's not what we want. Obviously, but we can go back in and make it just better. I think firstly, i'm going to get both sides to this point and just don't judge while i am getting them to this point now. This side is a little bit trickier. Okay, i think i caught this side shorter than that side, which may turn into an issue um, but it's it's okay for now, so then, what i'm just gon na do. This is not going great for me to be honest, i'm just gon na fan it out and like snip into it. Okay, like it, looks better than that side, but i think i've definitely cut this side. Too short, i mean they're not the same length at the moment. Okay, it's starting to look better um, don't tell me it isn't, because i would genuinely cry so i mean this is what happens when you think you're a hairdresser slightly better, feather we're getting there. To be honest, i think this side is shorter, though okay, so we did it okay, so i am going to put all this mesh in the bin and then i'm going to get hairdresser hairdresser, hair dryer and we're gon na style it and see how it looks. Furthermore, you should know um, i don't have a round brush, so i'm literally just gon na have to make do with a normal brush um, but now that i actually have curtain bangs, i'm actually going to go out and buy a round brush, because i feel like That is the necessity when it comes to cotton bangs. So i'm going to clean this up and i'll be back with a hair, dryer, um and yeah okay, so i'm back with the hand dryer. I look like a boy from the front like this. So basically, the way i've seen people do. It is literally just comb the hair forward and then just like use the comb and then just blow dry like that. So we're going to try that we're going to try that with this um. Okay, that's! Oh! That'S really! Curly did not want it that curly um, i probably have to actually oh, let me sort this out and i'll be back. Let me just judge it a little bit like so. Oh do we like it. I kind of do like. I actually think it looks. Quite nice, i actually cut that kind of really well for it to be doing that. I really like it. I genuinely really like it and like wow, she's kind of stunning stop it. I think it looks kind of nice um. I don't know. To be honest, you tell me tell me in the comments: do you prefer me with or without, but thank you so much guys for watching.
