How To Cut Your Own Bangs And How To Style Your Bangs When You Hate Them Diy Hair Cut Fail

Okay, hi guys and uh welcome back to my channel danielle does stuff the channel where i danielle do stuff compelling. I know the channel where i do stuff, so you don't have to. I don't know anyways. Today i woke up from my mid-afternoon nap. I have four kids, don't judge me: okay, okay, actually, you can judge me. I don't care. Just don't tell me you're. Judging me. I think i've mentioned that and my channel before uh. I need to be judged. You can tell me it's fine, so i woke up - and i decided hey my wrinkle right here - that i hate was super showing i need to go back and get botox but um my nails again. Oh this is my list of things to do. I need to go back and get botox, but botox is expensive, so i thought maybe, ah five hours later, i thought why don't i cut bangs been thinking about doing this for like a minute um, just because i hate this wrinkle that i have. I looked up. Pictures of people that have bangs that look cute with bangs, oh and i've, been watching way too many episodes of new girl and like how can you not want bangs after watching that show so fat monk bangs? It'S like got ta be an impulse move. You know you can't think about. It is definitely won't do it if you think about it, so i'm gon na cut some bangs today. I think i'm probably delusional thinking that i'll look like the pictures of celebrities that have bangs or people on pinterest that are like models that have bangs, and so this is like a normal person with bangs uh. No, i shouldn't say that, because who is normal? I don't know not me for sure, not me, okay enough, rambling, let's get to the banging the bang cutting uh. First, i have to brush my hair. I haven't washed my hair in like three weeks. Okay, this is how i roll telling you guys my hair is dry. Never ever ever ever gets greasy like not one day in my life. If i had greasy hair, not as a child, not as an adult, never never does curly hair get greasy. I don't know my natural oils. Oh yes, i mean it's still dry, a little comic cone. Oh i love this brush because it doesn't hurt out that was my finger um. I love this brush because it doesn't hurt to brush through with but full. I have really thick hair, so i can never tell if it got all the tangles out. It'S like the weirdest thing you have to like go back through and see because it'll just rush right over some tangles. I mean like a lot of tingles a lot of tingles it'll get out well, some tangles, just like nah, i'm just gon na skip that one okay. So one thing i do know is that when you cut bangs you're supposed to have a center part, so here we go. I really shouldn't be doing this, because i'm never like precise with anything that i do. I just kind of do it and i also have a cowlick in the front of my hair, so these two sides are never the same. This one's always flatter than this one. So we either have to push this guy up. Try to flatten this guy down this guy see that cowlick this guy's not going down. Okay, now you're supposed to make a triangle from the center of your head. I think that's where you want to go from which i'm going for some like zoe de chanel type bangs, so there's my first side of the triangle. Key second side. I think you're supposed to go from the corner of your eyes. Oh looks bad. Doesn'T it okay? Let me go get a mirror. It always seems like it's going to be so easy when you're, just conceptualizing, but once you're doing it. It'S always like what this isn't going. Oh, i just poked myself in the eye. Okay, it's okay! I'M okay like look at this too. This is what i don't even know. What is that it's not really going out? I envisioned it. Okay, should i be getting more right here, so it like kind of comes down over that part. I don't know better. Just leave that out, don't you think yeah, i think so too. Okay, i think i've got my triangle kind of triangular ish. I think on this side, i'm gon na go just because i'm scared. I don't want to get too much. Oh, no! Okay! It'S okay! I'M not gon na have that wrinkle showing anymore for free, freaking, botox. Okay, i'm gon na do it. These are pretty short, anyways right, yeah, i'm just gon na twist them like this. The reason i'm doing this is not a great reason. I used to be a groomer, that's how we do dog ears. I don't know we'll see if it works. I'M gon na cut right. I'M scared right below my nose. These aren't great shears either their shears are not here. Okay, here we go we're doing it. We'Re doing it we're doing it. It'S still way too long. Okay, okay, it's gon na, be okay, oh gosh! Okay! Why am i doing this? I shouldn't have done this, i'm doing it, i'm doing it. Oh, my goodness, my heart: okay, oh okay, okay, okay, oh super crooked, uh-huh, it's okay! That is because i twisted it right. Maybe i should twist it the other way. Oh my gosh. I went too far over on the sides tonight. Yeah it did. Oh man, stop it get some help. Okay! Well, this looks way worse than i ever possibly could have imagined you walk out the door. You see someone that you know and they ask you how you are. You just have to say that you're fine, when you're, not really fine, but you just can't get into it, because they would never understand. Look at this! It'S so short just kick that back there yeah yeah yeah. How did that happen? Probably that twirl, you know, don't do the twirl lose the twirl. I hated the twerk hate, the twirl. That was a mistake. Wait i didn't think i this did. I cut this. I don't even know if this is part of it was it yeah. That was my triangle should have made my triangle: smaller, it's okay, it looks like you're a different person. It does kind of okay because usually like people, some people like cut their bangs. Okay, i have styled my bangs, i finally styled my rings. Kind of this is a few days afterwards, because you can't always do video when you're getting ready for church. You know what i'm saying around do your hair day, so i'm glad i did it. I guess, because you know ow, i just put myself in the eye with my bang cool. Why am i i always must not have good linking reflexes? I must just yeah. This is what they look like. I really haven't done my hair. I always do these videos on here when i haven't done my hair. That'S how i am, but i'm glad i got the excuse me. You know when you get a thought in your mind and you just can't stop thinking about it and you have to do it before the thought will go away. That'S how i feel these bangs are. Are they my favorite thing in the world? No, are they kind of a nice change yeah? Do they do the job that i was hoping for to hide my wrinkle 100? Should i have taken more time to do them and research how to do them? Probably, but that's not, who i am. I should have gone to a hairdresser to get them done. One hundred percent, but again, like i'm, probably not gon na, do that. Why don't my eyebrows? Never look good? Okay! This is natural. I mean they turned out kind of okay for, like the amount i work i put into them. You know what i'm saying, which was not a lot of work. The thing i really don't like about them is just takes me a lot longer to do my hair when i have bangs, because i have naturally curly wavy whatever you want to call it hair, i'm not even sure what it is at this point. I'Ve bleached it so much that it's not the same amount of curly that it used to be, but i mean it definitely has the wrinkle. I have too much blush. Do i kind of look like i should be part of the cast of monty python. Yeah 100. They were holding auditions right now. I could probably make it. I wouldn't audition, because that bunny freaking freaks me out that bunny scares me afraid of bunnies to this day, because of that, maybe anyway they're a nice change. They kind of maybe give me that uh. What'S it called the kind of 90s look, although i don't even know, i can't even tell anymore. Is this the 90s look or is it just monty python? I don't know, i don't know if they look cute or not. I cannot tell, i probably won't keep them, because it's just you have to straighten them. My hair is not straight naturally, and so then they don't even want to go the proper way which every time i cut bangs this always happens, and then i forget about it. You only remember the good times you know, i don't know, i keep coming up anyways, these are them. I still. I probably need a little choppy chop right. There see that goes to my eye. Oh another thing that drives me. Nuts is they're constantly in my eyes. I don't like i don't like the feeling of them right here. This part is, i feel, like too short, but this part drives me nuts, so i guess they should go kind of like right above your eyebrow, not like into your eyeball, obviously see that just looks freaking crazy. Definitely i don't love them. I feel like i could get used to them, but for sure i need to go to a style list and get them done. I would recommend not cutting your own bangs. I would say this is kind of a fail. Okay, i'm playing it fast and loose with the word kind of like fail, i mean sometimes i like can kind of convince myself that they kind of look. Okay, i don't know, i just don't know how to style things either, but i probably would know how to style them. If i got them done professionally, but not the channel of danielle goes and gets stuff done, standing on test stuff. So basically i had to cut my own bangs. You know what i'm saying just kidding. I don't know what pieces i should keep in what pieces i should leave out. I feel like there are more bangs in here. I don't know which side of my hair all this stuff should go on. I just can't decide so i would say this. One is a don't try this at home, kids. Unless you want to look like this, it's like a mom look. I guess a mom look from the 90s okay mom jeans are in mm-hmm, so, like people are doing mullets right now, okay, so i don't know, i guess it's like just go: have it professionally done? Okay, i literally just curled my hair and changed my shirt. I don't know i still it's not my fave bangs are just hard to get used to, and then you think you can cut your own bangs and you go that round. It just makes it even more complicated. You know you don't know, because you haven't done your bangs okay. Well, it does take my word for it. They drive me a little bit nuts, but yeah guys. People have mullets nowadays. So is it really that big of a deal? Maybe it makes me look more edgy either that or it makes me look way more dorky. I don't know, i'm not sure. Like i said i can't even tell anymore i just i can't tell what do you think caught up to um? I say um one more time with my hair actually done: it's not horrible. I guess i mean i could go out like this. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. The other thing that drives me nuts about bangs is i'm constantly doing this messing with them, because i can feel them right there. You know i mean it probably could have been way more disastrous. I guess i did for sure go way too far over. I feel like this should still be long, but what are you gon na do? I definitely have to do more to my hair to make it look, go outside of wall. That'S a weird! It'S not a word. It'S definitely not a word. It'S not even like a question, if that's a word, so we definitely have to do more to it to be able to go to a place, or i guess confidently go to a place. Thinking. Okay, my hair doesn't look crazy. I cannot stand when they're in my eyes, it's not even in my eye, but i can just feel it there and i can see them in my peripherals, which i knew from last time having banks but okay, but still with that said, i keep going back to The reason i got them was because of this, so they did the job that way instead of getting botox. I found out that i could also do this, which defeats the whole purpose of the line cover thing, because the line is literally right in the center of my head. It'S so annoying! You know the 11th, it's like just a 1.. The other part of 11 hasn't shown up yet, hopefully won't, but sometime in the future, probably well, i you know, i should probably just go. Get botox right. Botox is one and done banks. You have to do bangs every day, every day, wake up and they're like wonky, and then i have to actually style my hair, which ain't nobody got time for that, i'm too lazy for that, i'm a stay with mom like i said i am not motivated to Do that, and i mean i do have time for it - i mean i guess you can make time for anything right, but like do i want to make time for that? No, it's so much easier for me to roll with the messy look. I feel like when you have bangs, you can't just go with the messy look right, yeah. Well, i feel like i'm right for me. I just feel like you have to be more style. You go with bangs. I'M gon na keep rambling this video, it's gon na, be a short one. The one good thing about my hair - i don't know if everybody's hair does this mine - does because it's positionable, i guess, but i can't literally just go like this boom back to my normal hairstyle. So it's not that big of a deal for me the other day they were kind of sticking out. Here'S what i did it's my little girl's jojoba and i just put that in i did not go out of the house like this, but you know when you're a stay-at-home mom. Sometimes you just want to go by the mirror and look cute. You know see yourself in the mirror and look cute, so i did wear this for the day and it held the bangs back out of my face: here's pink yeah, very cute white. This is the one i wore the other day. It was all right. You know. I guess you could do a side pony, so we've got some different looks going it's not that big of a change for me. If i don't want it to be, why do bangs just make you look like a different person? They do say: babies recognize people by their foreheads, so maybe foreheads play a giant part and recognization recognizing people so that this this is my comfort zone. Look when my daughter cut her bangs when she was like five. I would always do her hair like this. If you did cut your bangs and you hated it, you could do well. I did a little rubber band. I didn't. I didn't do a huge rubber band and there's always this that you can do wow that cute look plus the bun. If you want to do like khloe kardashian top knot, maybe chloe cut bangs and she hated them. That'S why she wore hair like this for so long. You know so there's that just for fun you want to do a mommy and me moment, obviously not a look with bangs, but if you did the bangs and then you just hated them and then they're always bobby pins, so you could bobby pin them back. Oh also i got hold on also. I got this super cute hat yeah. If you don't want to have your bangs, this is like stay. Oh mom hat i feel like every see. If mom has this hat, maybe i don't know seems like in my lived experience. No, it seems like in my experience this is a hat to have you're having a bad hair day. Okay, so i mean there's always hope if you cut your bangs and they look horrible guess, that's the moral of this video try out for monty python. Wear a hat, wear a bow! You can cover your wrinkle without botox you're gon na have to put a lot more work into your everyday look. If you're me you're going to have to if you have straight hair, maybe not! I don't know. Also, the moral probably won't end up looking like zoe de chanel. I don't know how she pulls up those bangs and man. It just looks so beautiful, like i saw a picture with her with no bangs. It was didn't even look like her see how my my bangs are never down either. They are always that way or that way, and i can't straighten them with a straightener, because they'll go straight out. It'S the weirdest thing. I don't know if other people have that problem or if it's just me anyway, this is the other thing i was trying to show you just a minute ago. I used to do this too lily's hair lily is my daughter. Lily is my daughter, i don't know. I said it that way, but i would just put her bangs back like so, and one of these clear and one of these clear things and that's pretty cute, can you even do the other side if you want to have like a pigtail moment yeah? That is, i feel like. I should have my bangs down for the last part of this video, so i'm gon na take this out. It'S gon na be painful, but i got ta make sacrifices. You know not that painful. So that is the end of my to cut or not to cut your own bangs video. I guess that's what it became. I don't know i would say for sure, go to a professional. You could end up. Looking like me, do you want that? I don't want that on my conscience. Okay, so that's the end of my. I have bangs video kind of kind of. Have things see it's just so hard to figure out what looks good you know i don't know. Does this look good? I don't know. I literally can't see it sometimes. I think it looks good one minute, i'm like oh, that's kind of cute, the next minute, i'm like. Oh, my gosh. How is that even a hairstyle, you know so um is it? Is that sorry? No, i don't know half up half down in the 90s. We all have super plucked brows and it's like terminatory right. You know how she had that little thing right there on her hair, it's kind of cute yeah. Then you take off your hat they're like oh, my gosh. She has bangs okay people out there with things like how how how do you do it just takes so long or like do you have to just get used to it? I don't i don't know. I don't know, is this cute or not cute? I cannot tell literally cannot tell that's why you need to go to hairstylist, so they can tell you that it's cute or not cute you'll, be like oh yeah, that's cool! Really you look amazed or like no, you should never do a skin reason. Number like 3083. You should go to hairstylist
