Are you joking? I'Ve made major mistakes? Oh dear hello, i have no idea whether i uploaded a coveted vlog thing. I know i vlogged the situation. Uh you'll know before me whether or not i've uploaded that or not, because i haven't reviewed the footage or anything um, but it is now on monday. It is one week and one day since i first got covered, i'm feeling absolutely fine. I have been feeling fine for about four days now. You can still hear that i'm a little bit like nasally a little bit congested, but i feel absolutely fine. The first uh two days weren't the best day three was very up and down um. I kept being absolutely fine and not so much since then being pretty much fine, but i keep testing positive, so nick has been living downstairs. Um for the whole week we haven't hugged all week, um and he's been having to cook dinner. Bring me dinner clean up. After dinner, do the shopping do the cleaning like he's just done everything and i've just sat in one room, basically all week um, but last night i did a cover test and it was a very, very faint line. I'M hoping that this one uh doesn't say positive. Last night it was the cutest thing last night i did a cover test and all of the ones that i've done throughout the week. I'Ve dropped the dropper on it and within about a minute, a line has come up to say. You'Ve got covered like within about a minute last night i did a test um and the minute passed. Two minutes passed, five minutes passed and the test was still. There was no line on it, so bless nick he'd got his pillow and everything and brought it upstairs was like i'm ready to come in as soon as like the half an hour. Official test window has closed. He was like ready with his stuff um and about 10 minutes after i did the test, a really faint line showed up and i was like nick you're back downstairs. I was like see you later. You cannot come into this room. There is still no line. There'S still no line, i'm feeling very very happy about this, i'm feeling very positive right. So, while we wait for oh wow, that is bright sunshine. While we wait for that test to be done, um in the next 25 minutes, i really thought i could just plop you there and i would be fine. That is some bright sunshine um. I need to cut my fringe, so this is the length of my bangs. Okay, listen! Let'S just quickly talk about the bangs, for instance situation. I call them bangs when i call them curtain bangs curtain bangs, i feel like is the official term for my haircut. But if i talk about this section of hair, then this is my fringe. I would never call this my bangs. This is like this is my fringe, but i've got curtain bangs. But i get told off in the comments whenever i say: curtain bangs, because people are like you're british, you can't say bangs it's fringe and i'm like yeah. But i'm not saying my bangs, i'm saying i have curtain bangs because what a curtain fringe, i don't know it, doesn't sound right to me anyway. So my fringe now comes down to here and i went back through a vlog clip which i feel i feel really grateful that i vlog sometimes because i can go back to so many clips. It'S really not working with this lighting and i have a vlog clip. I never uploaded it, but i did vlog parts of getting my hair cut and when i got in the car after getting my hair cut, i pulled my hair down to see the length of my fringe and it was at my chin. It is now about an inch past, my chin, so it's grown about an inch and i just don't feel like it's sitting right anymore, so i want to cut them myself and i know lots of you're gon na be so annoyed. With this whole me cutting my own hair situation, but here's the situation, one, don't like making phone calls number two: don't love going to a hairdresser's appointment, uh number three money i mean sure i can afford it, but why pay when it can be free? If you do it at home, i've looked up a good old, brad, mondo video, and i think i know what i'm doing um, but i just need to chop into them. Oh no, oh no! There is the faintest faintest faintest of lines as in i'm. Talking cannot even barely see that line, but there is one there. So i think nick's got ta wait till tomorrow. Oh no, my test is officially positive. I'M still covered positive, so nick is spending. Another night downstairs: um, i'm gon na go ahead and get my hair prepped, i'm gon na wet it. I'M gon na get the scissors ready. I'M gon na get brad mondo back on youtube. We'Re gon na cut my fringe, but before i do, i really really quickly wanted to show you some of the pieces that i got from anna louisa um. This video is very, very kindly sponsored by anna louisa. Okay, i have two more items, so one of these is a bangle. Oh, my goodness, i love a gold bangle. I had one that fit so perfectly. I i think it was in my travel vlogs and i wore it blooming everywhere and then i lost it and i was so so upset about it. But oh my gosh, i have a new one. Oh yes! Yes, yes! Yes, i love this. Okay and then final item a necklace as well a little gold necklace, but it looks like this. It looks absolutely beautiful. So those are the pieces that i chose. They are absolutely beautiful. I love them all. I will have a link for you in the description to go and get by one get one 40 off, which is an amazing deal, and i'm gon na go ahead, get some scissors and we're gon na cut my hair. This could go very very wrong. However. I'Ve come to realize my hair grows pretty fast, and so i feel like i can get away with a couple mistakes here and there um i mean, since my current bangs were cut in january. They'Ve already grown like more than an inch, so i think we're gon na be okay. Um brad mondo is gon na, be helping me with this, not that he knows about it, but he is, and now i've got ta make some form of triangle. Now i do already have curtain bangs, so i'm hoping that i can make a triangle and it kind of lines up with the triangle: that's already there. So if i do this, oh impressed with myself little triangle line my fringe and i'm gon na try and do it on the other side. This is where symmetry would help and i don't think i can do the same thing again. Um nope! Definitely not i'm! Just not i'm just not getting it on this side. Okay, i think we've done it. Okay, i think that looks pretty good. So what i'm gon na do. The first thing i'm supposed to do is wet it chop it down to the length i want and then oh no do we worry about this. We don't worry about it. We'Re just gon na wet my hair. So i'm now just supposed to chop this to an adequate length. I'M thinking this much off, i'm nervous! You terrified! Oh well, it's gone now! Oh bother. I may regret this decision not very straight line, but oh no. That is not straight at all. Okay, we're redoing! This bit now, i'm supposed to find my middle part again. I may have made a mistake: i'm now supposed to bring this far over this way and chop. All of that off are you joking. Are you joking? No, no! No! No. I'Ve made major mistakes me panicking. I don't know if i can go any further, oh goodness, oh bother, at least it's not too short. I feel like this could go very wrong. Being the left side of my hair. You know no, no, no! No! No! No! I don't think i'm holding that correctly. It'S gone, it's gone okay, so this is what we're looking like. Is that how they're meant to look? I don't know if i've done this right and i'm not too sure if this is how it's meant to look, but i don't feel like it is right. We'Re taking a bit more off of this side, i think i'm gon na do this, i'm going for it. I think that's! Okay! Oh no! Oh! No! That'S what oh! No! That is way too short, um! Oh goodness! Oh no! I have no idea how to match these sides up, but not only that i can't see a freaking thing. I don't know what to do here. Mistakes have been made. I don't know what to do from here. This is what isolation has done to me: blame isolation. Okay and then in the hairdressers, they do this. Oh do you know what i think i've done it, i'm gon na. Let this cool for a couple of seconds and then, when i let it go, we will see how the how the situation is. Okay, they're very short, okay, this side, amazing, what's this, why are you not curling the right way? Why is that a thing called the other way? I'M really really happy with this side. This side just doesn't want to play what is happening here. Why is this happening? Little curtain bang going on there cute what like what? What is this this one? Just? Oh, that's a little bit better. Okay, it's a little bit better. Obviously a little bit of styling is needed. A little bit of volume spray a little bit of curls xyz, pretty pretty impressed with myself. I'M gon na go ahead and say it. I'M pretty impressed with how that went. Um definitely cut this bit, maybe just a tiny little bit too short. But apart from that bit that just doesn't want to stay anywhere we're good. I did actually chop quite a lot of hair off didn't i i feel like i may have made a mistake. Why does this bit not flick like please tell me why this singular bit? Doesn'T flick with the rest of them? It'S very frustrating nicholas has made dinner. Look at this looks lovely necklace. I made it, you made it. It looks beautiful. This is nick's butter, chicken, but not chicken. Curry looks amazing. I think i've taught you very well to cook. You know i take credit, for this looks lovely you'll, also notice. This is the carpet because i'm sat on the floor. We'Re gon na watch grey's anatomy nick is down the other end of the sofa so that we're two meters away and i'm sat on the floor because there's nowhere else to sit. We usually actually for the past week when i've been ill. I'Ve had the food in bed and nick sat in the clock. Corridor bless him um and we've sort of eaten together, but tonight and last night we're gon na watch, grey's anatomy um and i'm just gon na sit on the floor and pray. I don't spill anything, so it is the evening we have eaten. We have watched an episode of greys. I had oh you're falling over, oh well, um. Ah, here's the situation, i'm gon na do one final covert test. I can't believe i spent two years not getting this and then the week that i like sorted. My life out was like right. I'Ve got everything planned, i'm gon na be filming, non-stop, everything's gon na be amazing. That was the week i got covered very, very annoying and i'd also just started to regularly visit the gym. So i was like in routine. I was going every week. Everything was great. Good luck me getting back to the gym. I don't know if that's gon na happen any time soon. Does anyone else wan na be sick when they put this down their throat, because i do and then up my nose. I sneeze every time bless me. I'Ve also just had a thought. I don't really know why i cut my hair today because in my head i was like oh, but then i saved myself from going to the hairdressers, but i'm thinking about getting blonde put back in my hair, not fully blonde, but i am thinking like a light. Balayage type thing, and if i do freaking, have that done again, i'm going to the hairdressers anyway and cross your fingers, uh, okay, google, 30 minute timer. I enjoy peaky blinders, i'm spending the night alone. Again, oh um, there is the faintest line known to mankind like if you just saw the test, you'd be like yeah, there's, not a line on there that it doesn't look like there's a line at all. But if you look really really close like hold it like this, you can see a smidgen of a line. I didn't actually realize the tests were like that accurate. If you will, because i'm assuming the fading means that i've got less and less and less of the virus in me or the antibody, i don't know which one it's measuring the antigen, the antigen i've got less and less in me. I am going to take my makeup off. Take my contacts out brush my teeth and jump into bed um and probably do some puzzles or something. Oh, i don't know if i've done my word all today. Have you heard of hurdle okay. This is so like. Okay, i want to say it's sad, but i actually took the world by storm. So maybe it's not that sad. I love puzzles. I love puzzles, and i've said that multiple times on this channel, but i feel like puzzles weren't cool until wordle, although that died out pretty fast. But i currently do wordle quirdle, nerdl and now hurdle hurdle spell heard, as in like you've just heard something not hurdle. Isn'T like something you jump over um and i think that might be one of my favorites because it just plays you like the teeniest bit of a song and you've got to guess what the song is um and you can have a little bit more of the Song, if you want to but the more of the song that you have, the the less turns you have, i don't know how to explain it. It'S great fun. Anyway. Jamie Purtteman: I was told that once you have Covid it can take up to 3 months before you test negative because the antibodies are there but you’re not contagious. I would call a Dr and ask to be sure but yeah
Theresa Calvert: Here in Australia we don’t have to re test after we have shown positive. We have to isolate for 7 days and as long as we no longer have symptoms we are free to leave isolation. I’m so happy you’re better, we have missed seeing your cheerful self x

Laura Carter: I'm a NICU nurse in the U.S. I got covid in May 2020. I had to quarantine for 14 days. Now if we test positive, we have to come back to work in 5 days. My husband had it twice and he was told he could still test positive for a few months but would not be contagious. Glad you are feeling better!

But I was told after 5-6 days, it's highly unlikely you're still carrying enough viral load to be contagious. But I get the abundance of caution. I'm always erring on the safe side.

If you’ve completed your quarantine or isolation period and your symptoms improve after 24 hours, there’s no recommendation for either the vaccinated or unvaccinated to get retested. “And the reason being is that you can still test positive for 90 days or even longer. rhiannee jj: I had covid at the start of the year. My tests were exactly like yours coming back within a minute and then towards the end I was getting faint lines. If you get a line after 15 minutes towards the end of covid then you're safe to come out of isolation. I followed this advice and me being in a uni flat didn't give it to anyone except for one person but that was at the start of when I had covid. Glad you're feeling better. For me I was probably ill for the first 5/6 days. I was supposed to be having my booster when I had gotten covid so the none booster likely impacted the amount of ill days I had.

Carmie Afro: In Melbourne, Australia you can leave 7 days after testing positive and then don’t have to test or isolate for 8 weeks after as you could still test positive from previous infection. Funny how the rules differ so much around the world
MadameMariella14: I think here officially you only have to wait 10 days after testing positive/having symptoms. So 5 days in isolation, and then another 5 days masked around others. In the US they are saying you can test positive up to 90 days. So, here, as long as you haven’t had a fever in 72 hours, your symptoms have improved, and you have your vaccines then you can be back to normal after 10 days.

Hairdressers arent the richest people and are usually small businesses. They deserve to be supported just like you do with your channel. T dub: I’ve stayed in the same room as my husband when he had Covid. The 6ft apart really doesn’t help anyone, I mean at this point if he was going to get it and he would have already just stay in the same room.
