Summer Haircare Products I Am Using + Ulta'S Summer Of Hair Love Sale!

Hey friends, welcome to today's video today i am super excited because i've teamed up with ulta beauty really exciting to share their summer of hair love promotion. So i just recently got a new haircut and color. I don't know if you can tell. I know my hair kind of looks the same, but i did get bangs. I don't know if you can see. I wanted something since i wear my hair in a ponytail. So much in the summer i wanted something that would give a little style when it's pulled back and i felt like bangs does that so that's was kind of my motivation for getting them. I also wanted a little bit of volume. I have thick hair and when it's all one length it gets real heavy down here and it just kind of makes the top flat. So that was the idea behind the bangs um. I also went lighter. I don't know if you can tell, but my hair is a little blonder today than it was yesterday, and i'm excited i always feel like summertime is when i amp up the blonde in my hair. So teaming up with ulta beauty was the perfect timing, because i needed to stock up and get some new products to take care of my blonder hair and then also take care of my hair in the summer. Because we, our hair, takes such a beating in the summer from the sun, from chlorine from the swimming pool from the beach, the ocean, salt, water. All of that impacts our hair, so i picked up some new products. Many of them are part of ulta beauty's. Summer of hair love promotion, so these are buy one get one free discounts and i'm excited to share those with you. So let's get started so the first product that i stocked up on it's a brand that i used back in the day. It'S been a while, since i've used it, but i remember loving it. It'S the pureology and i picked up the hydrate, shampoo and conditioner, because i need extra hydration in the summer from the sun. We spend we're going to spend a lot of time out at the beach this summer and my hair is definitely going to need this. So i picked up the shampoo and conditioner. They were 15 off by the way. This promotion goes until july 16th. So i'll have all of those details listed down below, but i picked these up. I also picked up a purple shampoo. Now, if you're, if you have blonde hair or you're using you know highly getting your hair highlighted, you should be using a purple shampoo. This is going to help tone and neutralize and soften your blonde and brighten your blonde up and keep it from turning brassy. I got this new product from eva nyc. It'S the tone it down blonde shampoo, i'm so excited to try this. This is a new arrival to ulta beauty. Now, a couple of tips about using a purple shampoo. You want to make sure that you let it sit in your hair, long enough to do its job, don't just shampoo real, quick and be in a hurry. I shampoo my hair two to three times a week and i'll use this, maybe once a week or so kind of when i need it too. If i feel like my blonde is turning brassy, i will use this, but i do try and let it sit for a good five minutes, most purple shampoos. You can tell like, when you pump it out, it's gon na, be really you know. Purple and you're gon na suds it up and put it in your hair and the suds will be purple once you see them. Turning white i've been told. That'S when it's a good time to rinse it out, but just keep in mind. Let it sit for a couple of minutes: you're, really not giving it time to do its work if you're just putting in and then rinsing it out right away, so really excited to try this one. I'M gon na report back to you guys on that, the ones that i've been using now recently that i love is actually by beach waiver. It'S the blonde purple conditioner and purple shampoo. So i got them both. The shampoo has shea butter in it and the conditioner has coconut oil in it. They smell amazing i've been using these for about the last month or so and again i use it once a week or so. Whenever i feel like, i need it, and i love love these - these are also available at ulta beauty, i'll link them down below. I don't know that they're part of the promotion, but i wanted to share them, because this is what i'm currently using right now. I also picked up a leave-in conditioner. This is part of the promotion. It'S a buy one get one free, so leave-in conditioner is something that stays in my girls rooms, because you know, as you can imagine, they're always in swimming pool lots of chlorine. They get out of the shower lots of tangles, so especially with kate, like i'll, always put a leaving concern kate, because she's very tender headed and she always comes out with lots of tangles. So we'll put a little bit of this, i really concentrate this at the ends of her hair and i'll. Let it sit for a couple minutes and then i'll go right in and a brush just kind of goes right through i've been using this more on the ends of my hair. When i get out of the shower i'll, do a little pump or two i'll rub it in between my hands and i'll start probably about halfway. I never get close to the root or the crown on my head, because i don't want to weigh it down. I really want to focus that conditioning on the you know ends of my hair to keep them healthy. That'S also where i have the most damage is going to be right here. So that's my little trick. Um. If you have really fine hair, you can also kind of mix it with a little water and work it in that way to dilute it. But i would recommend keeping it away from the root of your hair unless you have really thick or frizzy hair up top. But if you, you know want to keep the volume at the top really focus that on halfway down your hair into the ends and i'll spend a little bit more time, massaging that into the ends on my hair. This is amazing, and it smells so good and the last product that i want to share that you can pick up at ulta beauty. It'S not part of the promotion, but i have been loving. This tool is the beach waiver. Now this is the one and a quarter inch barrel size. That'S what i use today to get this. Look it's going to give you a really nice long, wavy look! This is what i did today. So i did this a couple hours ago to give you an idea - and i say that because sometimes we curl our hair and then the next day. It'Ll, look like this now. This is like same day, so it gives you a really nice long, loose, beachy wave effect. I love this. I also have the one inch barrel and that'll give a not necessarily a tighter curl it'll give a little bit of a tighter wave, but i have been loving this.
