Perming kit used:

CP-1 - Magic See-Through Bang Set http://shrsl.com/2berx

FYI I realised that the model on the packaging has bleached hair so maybe this kit can be used on bleached hair ?? Any Korean friends know the answer?

Hey guys, it's Tina hue, welcome back to another episode of Tina, tries it in today's episode. I'M gon na be trying a DIY bang, perming kit. Now in case you haven't seen it. I recently cut my own bangs. I have no confidence now. Why? Oh, my god, I got anywhere. Thankfully it turned out quite well. So if you haven't seen that video, you can check it out in the link below now. The thing with having bangs is that styling it can be a little bit difficult or for me, especially because I find like you know, when I wake up. My hairs are all different angles and then, like my middle part, affects sentencer. My bang always splits - and you know, there's this whole array of problems that come about when you have bangs, and so when I saw this kit online, I was like hey. Maybe this would be a good idea, because this will help set and perm your bangs into place it's from a cream brand. It'S called the CP one magic, see-through spank, it's so in the kit. You get two solutions. You also get two different sized hair, rollers and there's a pair of disposable, gloves and the instructions. Unfortunately, the instructions are all in Korean, but it does show you the different styles you can achieve with this kit. So if you want like a fuller bang, I guess like a tighter curl bang and then men can even use this kit. Thankfully we have Google Translate so I'll, just translate it using my phone, but in case you guys didn't know. Combing. Your hair in Korea is really popular. I haven't be up on my channel where I permit my roots fYI. If you did watch a video - and you want to like - have a quick update that volume that root leaf there, it's kind of grown out, and so there this part here is where I got per. If you can see just has like a little bend. I do miss the volume I had this. I do want to do that poem again, but yeah. I did get a lot of questions asking me like what it looks like grow now and honestly. It doesn't really look that bad anyway. So that's the only time that I permed my hair and I have to admit I am NOT a professional at this. I'Ve never permitted my own hair ever let alone use a kit like this. Alright, so I'm going to go for this sort of permed bangle. Look. I quite like how her bangs are looking, so I'm gon na aim for that. Now you may wonder where, on my bangs, they are clipped up and clipped up for a reason. This is what they're looking like. I did actually trim them again after filming that video, so they are shorter now and you see how it just splits in the middle like if it's a style, this I'll have to like wet it again blow dryer and then like still put some wax tile it. So there's a whole process to having bang, I feel, like I've been getting really into hair lately, you know, cut my hair cutting Alfred's, hair and now combing my bangs. I hope this turns out. Okay, I say that every time I've translated the instructions me. I cannot see I've translated the instructions. The first thing is the bangs to be firm. Divided into triangle shapes yes, great, translation, Google, okay, so I just need to pop my head in a triangular pot and then apply one agent. Even I guess solution one evenly with enclosed lot, o dry, the hair all the way. Well, what? Oh god this could turn out horribly wrong dry, the hair, all the way do I leave it on to dry, or do I blow dry? It leave on the hair for 10 to 15 minutes. Wrap wrapping is possible if necessary. I need a call, a friend, hey Charlotte. Are you busy? I need your help, translating some instructions for poor video. Okay. So I shall wait for her response. I sent her the instructions always good to have a cream friend on hand very handy, especially when it comes to products because, as you saw, Google Translate and all the ways that great whilst we wait, should I trim this again Joe hungry too long. I might give this a little trim, so she says just let it dry. Okay, so let's follow through those instructions, do not blow dry it. She was like I eat. Are you gon na come your fringe like yeah jealous? I can't wait to see your new hair me either. I'M gon na be using the bigger roller, because, if I do like this, god help me if I use this one, it would be way too small, and that would be an entirely different look. So I need to use solution. One. Oh there's a baby right here. I'M going to put apply this solution, I'm just I scared. Okay, it's gon na drip! Oh I caught that. Okay, I'm! I need to be way more careful. It'S a very runny solution. I'D sting! It smelled like a plumbing kit. Is it possible to apply too much? I don't know it just said: apply agent one evenly, that's very, even and then I'm going to roll my bangs. I think it's really important. How I I do this because it's gon na set in this shape hey stay, yeah, okay, so I've got a second opinion. Alfred said it looks okay, so I'm going to get some cling wrap and then just wrap this up like a bonbon okay. So I'm gon na let this dry naturally do not blow dry. It and I'll probably wait like 10 15 minutes, and I shall be back to put solution number two on okay. So it's been about 15 minutes, I'm going to unwrap my bonbon now and then apply solution before dropping it solution to so, it says: leave this on for about 10 minutes when applying in second agent to the eyes be careful not to enter. I think they mean do not get this in your eye, so I think this is the neutralizer I just put on top you actually just pops it on the roller. Okay, I can see why they say be careful not to get our lives. This is like water. It'S so runny. It'S dripping down my arm. It'S dripping down my arm. This gives you not do not like that. Oh my gosh, it's still dripping. Okay. I think I definitely apply too much there. Oh no. Some hands came out. I'M gon na wrap this bonbon up again now, as I was waiting for the solutions to work, I was reading up on how the perming process actually works, because I am no hairdresser. Obviously, but basically solution. 1 helps us through well up the cuticles and it breaks down a bond cord disulfide disulfide bond yeah, so I bonded the hair called disulfide and then knit so that breaks up, and then it molds it somehow. I guess like I think it depends on. What'S what's the agent I'm not really good at explain this, but anyways? The second neutralizing solution helps to rebuild that, and so once it's like rebuild whatever position or mold, you put it in it actually kind of locks, the the hair into that shape and that's kind of how it works. I don't think I was really good at explaining it sorry to all the hairdresser's out there. Oh, I tried it's okay, because this ain't, a science channel, I'm really nervous, because I did see some other hairs move when I put on the second solution. So I'm not too sure if that affects it too much. I always send myself on a emotional roller coaster. I might do these like hey videos, because I don't know if it's gon na work, especially when it comes to like a Korean one, because I cannot recreate it out like by following the instructions right, because when it comes to this type of obvious video, it's really Important to follow the instructions now, I'm pretty sure if you guys have like bleach, dyed, hair and like damaged hair, do not to go and buy a DIY, perming kit, because I think he could just like further damage your hair. You want your hair to be in a really good, like state, because I know this: doesn't it says it's like? Does it without damaging, but I'm pretty sure all sort of like poems do something to their hair like some sort of damage, I'm just how much? No, but if you have like bleached hair, I would not recommend doing this. Actually, I don't even know if I would recommend this to anyone just yet until I see the results, so, let's just uh, let's just pray, pray to the hair gods. Please smile upon me today all right guys. It is time it's been ten minutes, I'm gon na unwrap my bonbon. I have a good feeling about this honestly guys some in the instructions, it doesn't say that that you're supposed to wash it off like the last instruction, is just to blow-dry it, but I'm pretty sure you supposed to wash off the solution I had to like rewatch. My perming video, where I got my roots pumped and the hairdresser said, did wash off the neutralizer and perming solution. So I'm gon na take this off. Please, let's just let's all just say, quick prayer right now, please just just say a quick prayer to the hair gods. Please, let's just just I don't even care if it would just turned out straight like a fraternal straight, so be it, but anything else like if it was too cold early. Okay enough rambling. Let'S just I'm gon na pull this off. I don't think you can even tell they could it'll be wet right, yeah like but looking like sideways, but you know we'll give it a wash it's. Not it's not stuffed up completely just yet I'll be back. So I look like a wet dog at the moment. I guess this is how it's supposed to look, so I'm just going to dry my hair quickly. I hope this works, so it's dry look at her sideways guys. Um I mean it worked, but I just don't have enough bangs. Now, it's all in the middle. I guess because I didn't do a big section, so you know I mean it turned out better than I expected. It looks a little bit silly cuz. I don't have like big bangs, so it's literally like just like a middle patch right there, but on the side, you can see that you did put my hair into like a c-shape people, giving my bangs more volume and if I just like put the side bits Down and spread my bangs a little bit, maybe it would work. Oh now, I've realized my bangs are too long because it's really annoying cuz. It'S just hitting my eyes. I feel like. I need a trimmer, I'm going to give it a quick trim, maybe I'll try to blow-dry that these sides out a little bit because I combed it into the middle. So it's going to the middle. So let me just quickly try to just save this and look presentable. How short, should I cut it? It'S tough having bangs it's an emotional rollercoaster, that's what it is. Should I go shorter, though I should know a little bit shorter, worst-case scenario in a week. It will be back to its original length. Let me just blow dry it again. Okay, guys, I think I'm back up the roller coaster, I'm feeling good about my hair. I think I saved it because I just blow-dried the rest of my hair, because before that it was just kind of like you know, he saw it, and then I had these bits here that I kind of just like bought forward and so that kind of filled In the gap a little bit cuz, you know before it was just all in the middle, so thankfully I have these longer pots from when I cut my bangs last time, and that just like adds to it and then I just quickly ran my hair dry across The rest of my hair yeah, I think it's safe, good, good job, Tina, Alfred hates bangs with a passion. I don't know why, but he just hates it when I have this sort of like Bank up, but I'm just like whatever is you know, love me for who I am and not what my bangs look like. I think this kit actually works. Clearly, we could see that I have more shape and volume on the side now. So here's a quick recap of what I look like before with my bangs and now this is what they look like. Overall, I think it's pretty easy kit to use, and I don't remember it being that expensive, if you guys want to try it out I'll, find the link for you guys and I'll link it below. Oh, yes, it's so affordable. It'S like $ 14 USD so pretty affordable, but I thought that having this would make styling my bangs easier, but I realize I still need to stall the rest of my hair to make it look decent because I don't have enough like bangs at the front. I guess I think, had I had a thicker bang. This would probably work a lot better in terms of like it's just you wake up and it's like nice. I still have to style the sides and what not to make it look decent. I literally use, like I don't know, like five percent of this there's still so much left in the bottle so later on. I can continue to perm my bangs. If, if I wish, why does I have a one-star review who rated this someone rated this a one-star? It says speechless I hate to come my bank every morning because it'll damage my hair, so I bought this and follow. The instruction did not work disappoint it. Maybe she didn't follow the instructions properly, because the instructions are a little bit confusing. You see, there's the catch. If you don't understand Korean, it could be confusing, especially when you translate it to English. So sorry, Angela, I'm sorry to hear that I guess in terms of the overall kit, it is a thumbs up for me, but disclaimer. You need to make sure your hair is in the right condition to use a perming kit like this, because again you don't want to be using on bleached damaged hair because it might go frizzy. You know it might fall off, something crazy might happen and then you'll leave up a one-star review like Angela, so you just want to make sure your hair is in a good enough condition to use a product like this. I'M not too sure how long this will. Last but if you follow me on instagram I'll update you guys on this yeah overall, I'm finally happy with how it looks - and I was a bit like what the heck did - I just do, but with a little bit of effort, I saw a bleached it. Okay, anyways, I hope you guys have enjoyed this episode of tina tries it, and i hope you like, when you look, if you haven't already make sure you subscribe to my channel and to remember to turn on notifications that way, you don't miss out on any future. Uploads - and i shall speak to you guys next time I look Korean now and yes, your peanut Amida funky gum. Japan will get it Sunday morning away enough with you. We got

Tina Yong: Where’s all my early notification Tinnies at?

Hannan Sinarimbo: Tina is doing everything we usually do when we’re bored. The only difference is that she doesn’t mess it up and regret it later

zoiedoll: omg, as someone with wavy/curly hair who wants straight bangs, i need this

Chaeyoungs Strawberry Farm: Tina: *uses google translate* All language teaching teachers: *SCREAMING*

Sofi Rose: I has a tip for everyone who wants to translate things in Korean: Naver! I use it all the time, and it sometimes saves me from some very awkward situations

Alishou: A good way to keep your bangs from splitting without perming then is to clip the entire bang off to one side before you sleep so that it won't be unruly in the morning! It may be a bit flat though but nothing a roller, or a hair dryer, can't fix!

Chanel Girl: Pro tip: Tip the neutraliser in a bowl, using a sponge dab it til bubbly and apply it that way.

rithika rai: How does Tina never age... Its been more than two years that I've started watching her videos.. happy to see that she's still clumsy as always

raieluni: OK HOW DOES TINA LOOK GOOD IN EVERYTHING AND EVERY HAIR STYLE ️–

Eunvi: *No one :* *Literally No one :* *Tina : Making our quarantine 100× BETTER*

BallOfAwkwardness: It looks so cute. Seeing how nice your bangs look makes me want to get bangs too now

Wannabe Pronstar: Tina is gorgeous, but Tina with bangs takes her beauty to another level!

piepie: I think you did a really good job. Your hair looks great! I think for anyone reading this comment, if you're going to do this at home, try to apply the roller closer to the root to really lift it. Your permed hair will relax a bit more after a few washes, so you really want the lift starting from the roots. If you have heavier bangs and your sectioned hair is a bigger portion, you should break it into 2 sections for perming, that way you have an even lift at the root, and an even curl.

Eeshaa S: I usually just wet my bangs and pin them back every night before going to bed. It works like a charm and the bangs come out straight in the morning.

朱宝玉Nicole: Haven't watched the whole video yet but so excited because I just cut my bangs two weeks ago and I'm TIRED of having to put a roller in every few hours when my bangs fall flat haha

Sarah: I couldn’t stop wheezing for 5 minutes straight when you turned your head right after drying it

snooker48: You get absolutely more adorable and endearing with every video. Totally enjoy watching you. Bangs look cute!

Tsukid0ll: My bangs get crazzzzyyy sometimes. Love to see new ways to do my bangs

Jungkook Navidad: My mom got a curly hair perm when she was 15 or 16 and she said it lasted her around a year. She has straight hair and she said she wanted to try a perm at the time. I guess she likes her hair now and she hasn't had another perm since then

Jannin Marie: I literally LOLed at 11:33 Good thing you always know how to work it Tina!

A'rya Taylor: GOD BLESS YOUR HEART, I literally got my bangs back again, this was meant to happen!

Meow: I love how everything is so cute when it's Tina's channel ♥️

G K: Before I go try anything a bit mad, I always check to see if you've tried it first so I can follow your tutorial. Huge thanks for being our Guinea pig! Much love to you!!

Mandy L: Alfred's crazy! I think the bangs make your eyes pop! You look gorgeous!

Jenny Mao: I’ve had bangs for about ten years (but my bangs are much more full) and this is what I like to do to help maintain its shape: after my shower the night before, I blow dry my bangs about 70% dry then I roll them up in a roller (same size as Tina’s in this video) and let my hair air dry the rest of the way. Once dried, I take the roller out. It’s going to be much more curled than I like, but don’t style it, just sleep on it. In the morning it will be much less curled and then I just brush and style and my bangs maintain their shape

gyoza: As someone who's had bangs for almost two years, you should cut some side bangs that are the same length to add more hair on the sides :) other than that it looks really good <3

Ashley Scala: I love this idea! Making me want to go back to bangs, and i know who's videos I'll be watching to do it! Show us what it looks like in a few weeks!!

Juuzou Suzuya: I’ve had my bangs for a few months but I recently started using a mini straightener to style them instead of a roller on wet hair and I like it so much more, I have more control of it now and I think it looks much better and more natural, especially looking at it sideways as it curls more towards the bottom rather than the entire thing, but your bangs look really cute and yeah they’re annoying to keep up but I think it’s worth it :)

Jos: This worked so well! Love the style on you

Di Gi: YOU LOOK SO PRETTY!

WITH LOVE, MAY: Damn. Been having and loving bangs since 2015 now and went back and forth between soooo many styles and so many ways on how to style them, but never knew they could get this treatment Styling them almost every day can be so annoying and humidity is the absolute killer Might be biased because I just prefer bangs in general, but you look SO SO pretty with them

TheVampireTwinz: Tina honestly looks amazing with bangs- not everyone can pull that off

Jennifer Ong Jing Yu: I can't help to keep laughing on the part when you are trying to cut your bangs. It feels so real of your fears of making your fringe like a mess, but I think you did a great job on your fringe & Alfred's hair!

Mahi Rastogi: Hello Tina!!! Hope you're doing well in these difficult times... Sending love from India ❤️❤️❤️

johnnydeppishot: tina has officially permed everything

Kendra Dawn: These are sooo cute!!! Bangs look so good on you!

Maria LS: Great job Tina, you look amazing with the bangs

anna fabian: You always make things better!! ❤️❤️

keersten dewitt: The eye squeaks made me laugh the bangs look super cute with the long strands

Jenna L: Tina saying she’s no pro but nails everything thing she tries on Tina Tries It.

Elizabeth Lee: The bang looks so great on you, so I wonder why Alfred doesn't like it. Sometimes there are different styles for girls that girls like from what guys like. (It is true for me and my bf.) May be a short video in the future of you discussing those topics with Alfred would be great!

Diana Williams: I cut my own bangs following the steps in your last hair video and it looks really good I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to perm though

Keiko F: I think the sparse bangs look really cute actually! You're seriously making me want to cut my bangs again.... but my boyfriend wants me to keep them long... and it's SO DANG HOT... but I definitely suffer from my bangs parting in the middle ever since I got keratin done like 3 years ago! Might need to try this perm...

Tamara Lee Gonzales: It looks great on you Tina. Great job!!

Maleehah Shaikh: You being a Korean Tina at the last was just a cherry on the cake for this video

wine: Now I want this product for my bangs; they never stay how I style them, so maybe I'll perm them too. Loved your video.

Chanel K: It looks so good!!!!!!! I love fringes so much it so suits you

Seraphina Phoenix: I have never in my life thought of this. What a wonderful idea! I hope It works for cowlicks.

Lauren Nguyen: It worked great you should try to perm the side pieces in small sections with the big curl you used to create more dimension

Katie Chambers: It looks so good! I love it!

Tiny Jenny: That’s crazy! It looks good on you!!

C.J. Villa: You look so good Tina! <3

Blink xo: love the ending, tina tries speaking korean XD loving the bangs, used to style my hair like that but white hairs grew on y bangs now, and i hate dying it often so i got rid of the bangs :'(

maryam: Love you TINAAAA!! You're soooo inspiring.

Kat M: Your nails are so beautiful in this video!! ❤️❤️❤️

Army Stay You know???: So that your bangs are not split in the middle, you would have to make another parting (a little more on the side). If you are wondering why: it is because of the vortex I hope I could help you!❤️

E Campbell: I would love to try this. I have two cowlicks on either sides of my bangs, so they get messy and I have to style it every day.

Nutella: She looks so pretty even when her bangs are rolled up whyyyyyy!

Xin Liu: The sudden Korean at the end caught me off gard you're so cute! I wanna perm my bangs now

angie4144: I think the next logical step would be to get full bangs ♥️

shreya ramu: Tina your just making our quarantine a 100000000% BETTER❤️❤️❤️LOVE FROM DUBAI

Patsuchi: This might be my solution xD My bangs always start parting when I start putting them back during facewashing etc. So after a while they just split again.

Crystal Cake: @Tina Yong Hi, so about the question you asked about perming bleached hair, well, here’s the answer. It’s possible but your hair should go through the strand test to make sure it’s safe for perming; though it’s recommended to wait a minimum of two weeks between bleaching and perming if that makes sense . I hope this helps you. Korean Tinnie Fighting❣️
