This was super duper non-sponsored but if any companies want to give me money absolutely hit a girl up I'm easy breezy beautiful desperate for cash

I literally went running just so I could screw up my hair properly to take a shower and do the rest of my hair. So this is where my hair is that now, let's never take a shower. Tell you this much. I did not run very far this guy and then this guy next things up, got ta put this guy in a towel. So here's what I've learned with my hair, my hair is gone on several journeys. As you guys know, I got short hair. I got bangs, my necklace is the wrong way around and caught in my hair. This is good. This is good. So far. The thing I realized with my hair is that you got to work smarter, not harder. So I let my air, they ask you how you are you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine, come on. You got this. I let my hair air dry halfway and then I actually start doing all the crazy to it. So what I'm gon na do is go, take a nap for 45 minutes and take some antacid because also to the people all up in my comment section on my Instagram being like: why do you have a unibrow? Do you see a unibrow here? No right, I'm trying to give my brows a break. If you knew my history, my trichotillomania, you wouldn't be making comments about my brows. Just want to point that one thing I'm gon na do before I totally pass out is that I am going to get my hair in a position while it's wet that won't like make my bangs go crazy as they dry. This is how greatness happens guys if you have that problem. Wear your bangs almost look like robot bangs, because you blow-dry them right out of the shower. Let dry in like the position that you like and then blow-dry, and do it kind of sparingly, because otherwise you get like you know like full curl, like ah like Sunday, School kind of like mmm. Yes, that's what I do to prevent the hardcore edge of my bangs. I will be back in a little bit two hours later ready to go. Okay, so hair is mostly dry. Bangs are pretty dry. You can see, there's still a little bit of wetness to work with, which is great, why this is the hairdryer I use. This is the con air professional nano silver ceramic hairdryer? It means nothing to me other than it does a pretty damn good job. The things I like about this is that the lower power option here works really well with my hair and I do high heat. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just going to blow-dry my entire head until, like my actual hair hair, not just my bangs is mostly dry. In fact, all dry would be great, and then I am going to also round brush my bangs. This is the nanotechnology ceramic plus ionic near rocky brush once again, something that I just picked up at a salon holds no special place in my mark, but it works. It gets the job done now that that is mostly all dry. It only has a little bit of moisture left in it. I'M gon na put some of the. I am going to put some of the orb a dry texturizing spray on my hair blow-dry. It just a little bit more and then go in with a curling rod, and I don't go crazy with this at first. I go crazy with it at the end, and now we're gon na go back in with the blow dryer for just a quick SEC to just solidify all this nonsense and to get these things poppin. Now here's one thing I'll say about bangs when you are round brushing your bangs. I'Ve learned this like over time and it's really helped me less is more in every way. The moment you start like really doing your bangs is when they look very articulated and very well rounded. So if you like that, look do that. If you want it to be a little bit more boho and just like chill and not so much, which is usually how I like my bangs, just, do like a quick little run-through with the with the brush, but don't go crazy and also don't go too small. Of a brush, this is a two and a half and because my bangs are a little longer now. This works. If my bangs are shorter, because sometimes they can go like halfway up my forehead, because I'm a crazy like that, then you probably need a smaller brush and just like that. I just put a little bit of heat on it. To kind of activate the hair and like make it want to go curly, and then I just like let this little thing have its moment. Do you see how like already that is so done, so I don't like to go too crazy. That'S that's it! That'S it! That'S all I do did you did you see how long I did that, for it was nothing absolutely nothing. So unless you have just like a really difficult hair texture, that's what I would say to you is like less is more just do what you need and like get out of there, look how red my ears are well um on a regular day. I could literally wear this like this and just like leave the house and maybe put some hairspray in. I know I've been sponsored by Swap before, but this is non spawn. I actually really really do like this natural hold hairspray. I love the way the can feels and it smells delicious. You know what it kind of smells like to me. Oh my. This is gon na, be such a reference and like probably no one's gon na get this, but let me know if you get this: every hallmark in the country smells the same, and I, when I smell this scent, I smell hallmark and I can picture myself eating Jelly beans in hallmark when I smell this, you know homework always had like candy counters. Oh my god, I'm having like a throwback TBT moment right now. It'S the homework even still open yeah. It must be. I don't really break my heart if they closed I'm gon na go check. Now I want to know in business. Yeah home are still around. Oh, my god. I used to go to my web kids from hallmark. This is too much for this tutorial right now. Okay, I'm gon na save that for later. That'S what we've done this is great. Now, how do we get it all curly and lovely and fun um? We curl it. So I've got this bad boy. This is the same line as my hair dryer. This is the nano silver Connor professional ceramic and it gets soy hot, very, very hot. Does anybody else do this with their significant other? I always tell will, when I have an iron on, because I don't want him to like walk into the bathroom and just like pick it up with his hands, because I feel like he would or like put his glasses down and melt them cuz. He has done that before and he blames me for it. Oh drama King, if you didn't know that about will drama King anyways well, who smells like burnt hair. I think it's ready to go. So I'm pretty happy as'red about this, that there is nothing like special about the way that I curl my hair really other than i alternate inward and outward so that it looks a bit more natural on this side of my face. I do it towards the center of my face like this and on this side of my face. I do it outward for whatever reason I think it's because I typically tuck this ear and I usually leave this one hanging. So I like there to be volume on this side. So that's what I'm gon na do now. I have nothing to hold my hair up. Somebody'S tiny ass clip. It probably is not going to woo. This is cute, so all this is don't get curled. I know I'm contradicting myself by curling this part of my hair away from my face, the exact opposite of what I told you um, but I do the inverted version of this on the upper parts of my hair. On this side, I go kind of buckwild on the bottom parts of my hair cuz, like I don't really care. I kind of rely on the fact that I use like a texturizing spray and like let it air dry to kind of give me natural wave. So if I miss any pieces - because I am very bad at curling - my hair - it doesn't look crazy, I'm so excited. I have tender greens coming and I needed it. Okay, now that the bottom bits are mostly are all curled up and kind of just have texture. I literally use these bits of my hair just to add volume to the rest of it. So now I'm gon na take this down and you can see how already even this kind of just like pushes this up a little bit now, I'm just gon na. Do the top bits, and usually I get a bit PC err with this, like I'll, do kind of smaller chunks or just like little strands like this, so that I can just kind of give it kind of almost like a bird's nest. Look it's like an avant-garde. Bird'S nest, so that's what I'm going to do! Whoo sorry! I had to take a quick little break because my post may have got here. Oh that is so good. The progress we've made so far. We'Ve got some currently friends up here, they're doing well. I need to do the back. I need to do this side right now. This is reminding me of that episode in Parks and Rec, where Leslie gets half of a perm done. Maybe I should just do an entire video recapping, my favorite episodes of Parks and Rec. Since that seems to be my main passion as of late hey, I am curling my hair. This is boring to watch, but it's almost done now that almost my entire head is curled. I can go in with more texturizing spray. The biggest thing about that is like I love this hair, but I am NOT gon na curl, my hair every single day. So when I use dry texturizing spray, it actually keeps the style longer so that tomorrow it'll look almost exactly the same. Maybe just like a little bit, wavy err, but like I'm totally happy with that, what I like to do is almost bake, my hair, in which kind of sound ridiculous I like to put in a dry texturizing spray um. Once again, this is the orb a one. I don't know of another product that competes with this product if you guys have any cheaper options, please let me know, because this is expensive. I feel like I'm like making a car payment to buy this stuff spray it on the top bits spray it all. In the bottom, just like that, and then I will leave this for 30 minutes, so the curls get like super kind of locked in and it means that you know when I brush this out or like sleep on it tonight, it'll still keep texture, which is great. So I'm gon na let this bake we'll call it marinating your hair, so I'm gon na marinate my hair for a little bit and then I'm gon na come back to it. Okay, we are back um. I'M gon na now mess up my hair like this, because I watched an episode of Parks and Rec and I left this for 20-30 minutes, so it should be all marinated. I like to push this all forward as well like, depending on what your haircut shape is. I think this just like helps volume, especially with the spray, and then I just like push everything back right and, as you can see, just doing that like reactivating that powder just makes everything voluminous and nice and like fluffy, and so you get this like big messy Shorthair monstrosity, you guys can probably tell on my Instagram my social media, but usually I have my ears exposed, I like to tuck my hair in everyday life, because it just like gives me comfort. I don't know what it is, but I actually really love the look of like hair peeking out from behind ears so guys. That is how I do my hair. I hope that was helpful in some way. Um yeah. I just got this requested a lot recently. I think it was one fateful selfie that just pushed you guys over the edge and you were like we need a tutorial. Where is it so? That'S the dealio. I guess I'm making this video to tell you that gon na have short, hair and bangs and not have like the most impossible hair routine ever because at a couple different steps of this full routine, I could have stalked. I could have literally like round brush my bangs put a little hairspray in or dried texturizing spray and just left it. So on that note, thank you guys so much for watching if you like this and you want to see more hair tutorials or anything like this. Just let me know, because I really like doing them and I think they're fun and as long as I get to hang out with you, I'm having a good time also comment down below and let me know what your favorite Parks and Rec episode is because I'm In geing, all of the episodes again - and I love a good recommendation and on that note, thank you guys so much for watching make sure to give this video a thumbs up. If I have convinced you to cut either your pains or your actual hair shorter, and thank you guys so much for watching I'll talk to you guys later bye,

bestdressed: arden you sweet temptress don't make me get bangs and short hair again

christine chronicles: sometimes I think I want to grow my hair longer, and then I watch things like this

Ji MC: You're a freaking champ if you went running while being hangover. The only time I ever exercised while hangover I passed out at the gym after like 25 minutes on the elliptical and then threw up on the bathroom lol

Lucy Moon: Try the Ouai texturising spray or the Cool Girl spray!! Not quite the Orbe but v close

Solvision x: Arden, seriously, you looked lovely at every stage of the hairstyling process. You could have done completely without styling and would have been just as gorgeous.

Sen: I finally have hair after being bald for eight years and I just watched this video - you have no idea how much this helped me! I have no idea how to style and I went from having a shapeless boring mass of hair to something actually cute after watching this!

SMiila2: this is THE BEST hairstyle you've ever had. we have the exact same haircut and it suits you so well!

Teagan Danney: I love how you described your bangs as ‘Sunday school’ and I got a very vivid image in my head that portrayed your description sooo well

Anonymous: I actually liked your bangs before you rolled it out with the round brush

Karolane Thibault: Girl, i don't get it. When I'm hangover, I just sleep till 5pm the next day, i drink water, go back to sleep, and don't talk to anyone. You're too much for me. I love it.

Kelsey Renee: I’ve been using Dove dry shampoo as a texturizing spray and it does so well. It’s around $5-6 and does exactly what you say in the video. It helps the curls hold for a really long time and gives your hair a messy look.

Meilin Pang: I highly reccomend Kristin Ess texturizing spray and depth defining water based pomade for volume! I love everything she makes, my hair never used to hold a curl, but I'm skipping hairspray with these products. All of her line is $10-$15 and cruelty free, so it should suit your needs pretty well. Loved this vid!

Sara McClernan: Okay but your hair is literally perfect just air dried what the hEcK

Gwen Holt: an old school arden vid but infused with new cool improved very good at editing arden

Allison Lumadue: I have been watching you for what feels like an eternity! Tea time with Arden? I was there! How to style a pixie, I was raving! I love you so much and your style/personality/opinions have always inspired me to be a better me. Also I chopped off 8 inches off of my hair in my own because of your lovely hair. You seem like a friend to me. Tysm!

BianchuFurioso: Between you and claudia sulewski, you upped my short hair game to an incredible level lol THANKS

nooope: I’ve had a fringe (bangs or whatever u call it) for like 4 years now and when I say the struggle is real THE STRUGGLE IS REAL

Ola Korona: Right after i decided to finally grow my hair again you're doing this and i'm sooo tempted to cut! On the other hand i think i'm way to lazy to do this more often than occasionally. And girrrrl my hair grows really slow so it's not that easy decision

luv2thextreme: This is literally the best hair. You are an international woman of mystery #goals

Robin Green: I'm growing my hair out from a pixie for the first time in years, it's chin length now and I can't wait to style it again, thank u!!

Jennifer Webb: Watch me cut my damn bangs again and have a crisis a month later about them not growing out quick enough!!!!!!

Frank ed Me andrel: Tip for bangs: Clip it to the left to dry, then clip it to the right so it's completely centered afterwards (and just keep on going back and forth as preferred).

Angelface247〈3: Love this glad I cut my hair this summer it’s so much more convenient and easier to style!!

Emily Sudbrock: This video was really cute and funny and has inspired me to now go (attempt) to curl my short hair lol

Christina Lucas: I binged watched parks and rec in a full month, it was so good! At the top of my head the anniversary gift exchange was pretty funny, season 6 episode 14. Can we also talk about how aesthetically pleasing it was to watch this video. Love.

Brionyx: I got my hair cut around a month ago to pretty much your exact hairstyle (because I’m a copycat) and I loved it at first but the fringe just confused the shit out of me. Now I’m determined to make it cute

tonikisi: i’ve had bangs for a long time now and i’ve learned the best way to blow dry them but make them look natural is to hold the round brush vertically and brush my bangs outwards around the brush on each side, then brush them in towards the middle of my forehead. i do it roughly like two halves split in the middle instead of all my bangs at once and turn the brush as i do it. i never end up with robot bangs doing it like this !

natnopal: Damnit! I was growing my hair for my wedding but now I must chop! I loved my short hair and you just solidified my decision. P. S. My fav parks and rec episode is when Ron has a hernia and April throws stuff at him and he doesn’t catch it because he can’t move lawl

Samantha Ritterson: You’re adorable!! Loved this tutorial!!

Babette Vlaeminck: I'm so jealous of your hair!! You look good with everything: curly or straight, long or short, bangs or no bangs, messy or chique.

Eva K: Finally someone with my exact hair texture and length and face shape!!! You have proven to me that I can look beautiful with bangs!! ☺

ericagrxce: love how she just blow dries her hair and it’s perfect wtf, my hair is like

beatrix hardy: Arden having an extreme throwback is TOO RELATABLE

Abby Sprankle: I love my short hair!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and this was helpful thanks

Luz Angela Niuman: You're hair is amazing! You rock Arden.

Emma B: Lol when I first got this haircut like a year and a half ago the lady who cut (who was not my normal girl) LITERALLY called me a page boy. I have been determined ever since to not look like that lol but it has taken a bit. Having bangs and short hair is def a journey you gotta figure out for yourself

B Lsk: I followed your account after watching the first 16 seconds of this video. I can already tell, I vibe with your energy.

sialiasialis: I'm in bed with a mean hangover and youtube recommended me this video, must be fate! I could NOT do any of that shit when I'm hungover, I'm glad if I make it to the shower (if I tried to work out hungover I would literally die), but it was really entertaining to watch I love the snake juice episode of parks and rec. Fits my current mood really well too ;)

m: Love your humour and the added clips. Very real and relatable!

Christina Marie: Hahaha Arden you crack me up so much ❤️ can you have your own tv show already?

Jeanne White: Just cut my hair like this! Thanks for helping me style better now. Video helps. To cute

XxxM Axxx: A lot of people assume that us short haired gals have it easy haha.......nope. I still have to style it and if I go to bed with it wet all hell breaks loose! From a fellow short haired.......yeah I don’t know what I am I already used the word gal once so uhhhh.....lass? This is an awkward comment.. I will leave you in peace now Love from England

kmdn1: You, hungover = more energetic than I have ever been in my entire life at any time

Kim Nicol: Heck yes to the Hallmark smell!!! Loved getting Jelly Bellys and for some reason I loved checking out the awesome diaries they always had.

Camilla Romano: YAY I loved this vid, for the advice AND for the honesty!!! I know youtubers got to be paid OF COURSE but videos where they talk about stuff they don't actually like or use are boring af, not to mention the fact that they only talk about that instead of... Other stuff ahah this is amazingggggg, thanks Arden!!

Meba Lamare: This is so helpful. I've been waiting for this for so long. Thank you Arden, I love you. ❤

Golestân: I want more hungover videos, you're in the perfect mood ahah

Hannah Miller: Kristen Ess (found at Target) has a great dry texturizing spray! Maybe around $14?

Alaa: First of all, you are SUPER cute. Second of all, when you walked in at 2:32 I thought your hair was already done. Like literally the bangs that you had before styling are the bangs I want to do for my hair. My hair is curly so it would never look that good air-dried :(

Caroline Ring: Your hair is so lovely in the beginning as well!

W.M Tower: I liked your bangs better before you used the round brush! Love the haircut!

valeria lay: arden you’re GLOWING! and your skiN! wowwwww seeing your bare lil skin, even if it was just for a few seconds made me so happy :))))

Emma Llewallyn: When i cut my hair too short for my liking I found your other short hair tutorial video and that's how I found your channel! Here I am, ready to chop my hair again.

Amanda Caldwell: You’re so pretty and funny!!! Loved the video can’t wait to watch more

Zoe Martin: ty for making so much content lately I love it!!

Janelly Razo: you make me wanna chop off all my hair and cut my bangs a little shorter. you make it look SO GOOD wow

hello kaily: I just impulsively cut my bangs and this video is a lifesaver, you’re hilarious lmao

Maddy: Super cute! Love that you’re making more vids again :)

MIO: are you running with a hangover? Thats hardcore XD

Mae Durant: Should be all “marinated” is now my favourite hair term. The amount of times I curl my hair and my family go “are you going to leave it like that??” And now at least I can say it is marinating!

Amina Tahir: Came for the tutorial. Stayed for the humour.

mara ·: i recently went from having super super short pixie hair to (kind of) a bob and i was so confused at first but now its much better and i can curl it and do p much the same things as u lol

Be'You: Love the hair! ‍♀️♡

Shannon Leigh Williams: oh girl, I'm so tempted to cut my hair shorter!! I got bangs after being inspired by yours, & now I'm tempted to do the same by chopping my hair off...

Cassidy Nicole: I love your hair!!! Love watching your videos!!!

EmiKa77: I needed this because I sat in my room and cut my own hair the other day and... its a tad shorter than anticipated. But this helped!

Lauren Porter: OUAI volume spray! It works really well plus it smells so good! Like a perfume!

Kim N: The Kristen Ess Texturizing Spray and Kristin Ess Beach Wave Spray are comparable to Oribe. You can find it at Target and they're around $14.

CookieCreamCrumble: how weird i'm also binging parks and recs atm, the show is gold and i havent seen it in years. also i remember having short hair like yours and it was too much maintenance for my liking, now i just wake up and dont have to do anything at all to my hair and it looks good.

Cathy Schmick: More hair videos please! I must try this technique of yours....thanks!

TheSingingPeople: I've had a bob and bangs for over a year now and I have thick hair and whenever I go to get it recut it's such a gamble bc for some reason hairdressers often dont know how to cut my thick ass hair into a shape that even mildly suggests a bob

Junimaedchen2710: haven’t been on your channel for a while and i loooove that hair length and style on your hair ❤️. so so pretty.

Christina Alderete: This is the first video of yours I've seen (just did the big chop yesterday) and I'm low key obsessed with you now. "non-spon." Edit: just watched the Parks and Rec part and I'm now fully obsessed.

Kara Hartman: This tutorial is what I needed in 7th grade wtf love this and you

Allie LL: I blow dry my bangs upside down and they come out perfect and whispy 99% of the time! Just a tip if anyone is having issues with the robot bangs
