How to style side bangs/ a side swept bang hair tutorial
Hey guys, so I got a. I got two requests that I'm gon na knock out today in one video, the first one is on how to sell your bangs and the second one. Second, one is a daily hair, tutorial and um, so I'm just going to get started telling you what you need. The first thing is Aussie volume maximum hold hairspray um in order to protect your hair, you're going to need chi, silk infusion or any other hair protection. Um john frieda luxurious volume and Russ being warped wax all these products can be. I think this might only be available at Ulta, but all those other products are available at like Walmart and then I use I got this round brush at Sally Beauty. It'S about a 2 inch round brush and it was cheap. Its brand is ion, which is the same hair color. That is a hair color. I use and Sally Beauty. So I guess that's it. Ah, here's the after my hair. This is just I'm about to go to class, so this is just how my hair looks on a pretty regular basis unless I'm going really fast, so anyways bye, guys. I hope you like it. Okay. What I'm going to do first is to Spray the john frieda luxurious volume to the roots of my hair on the top layers of my hair, I'm going to grab my chi and just put about that much in my hands and this stuff is expensive, but it Lasts forever, concentrate on the end. Okay, and now I'm going to blow dry my hair upside down to add volume. Okay. So after you blow dries your hair upside down, you're gon na on, in order to style your bangs you're, going to pull this hair back. So you can find a ball and you're going to grab them like and you're going to get your round brush, and what this is going to do is add volume to your bangs and, at the same time, give them that round rounded shape. And you can put your blow dryer on low, but still on it. It'Ll start now, you're just kind of kind of mold, your bangs to what you want, because they're still hot so they're sensitive to what you do to them ha did it bottle start a PD capable stylist, pity it. But Oh steady get football. Can you grab a little bit of this Rusk bean warp wax I'm just gon na, like this a couple times, barely get it on my fingers and kind of mess. My hair up

asksash88: @flowerbloomx sounds like you could use some deep conditioning- I use garnier frutis sleek and shine deep conditioner once a week or whenever my hair feels dry and I love it! Also you should use a heat protection product before blow drying and straightening- I like chi silk infusion- pricey but lasts forever(you only use a nickel size each time) It makes your hair super soft! (focus on the ends of your hair not the roots)

asksash88: Yeah I would try that except when you are straightening the bangs bring them forward and straighten them straight down or maybe almost in the direction of the opposite side of your head and then let them cool for a second. Then just flip them back over to their normal side and spray them in place. You might also want to check out my other side swept bang tutorial. I would try both techniques out and see which works best for you :)

asksash88: It doesn't bug me at all! :) Is your hair relaxed? If so then I am pretty sure it should work but I would also take a look at my other side swept bang tutorial and try the technique I showed in that video as well and see if one works better for you. If you use a flat iron then I would suggest grabbing your bangs and pulling them all forward and straightening them forward and down and slightly in the direction opposite of how they will lay. asksash88: @EpicComicGenius I usually print off pictures of nicole richie's bangs and tell them I want them to look exactly like that...part of getting the right bangs is finding a good stylist. If you see someone--even if you don't know them- that has the bangs you want go up to them and compliment them on their hair and ask them who they go to :)
sithr07: It helps if you blow dry ur bangs in the opposite direction to eliminate the rainbow effect on ur bangs :)

asksash88: @Toomayful Thanks! Well I always bring him pictures of the bangs and hair cut I want so that is helpful...I just google celeb hair cuts. Also I tell him I want tons of layers starting at about chin length and to thin out the bottom. I would say my hair is like a really toned down version of scene hair...its has the same layering and bangs but just not as extreme. Hope that helps! :)

asksash88: @xsophieeexehmmx thanks! I usually just bring in pictures of haircuts I like with tons of layers...also for bangs I usually bring in a picture of nicole richie's hair. My layers start around my chin and go all the way down. Hope that helps!

asksash88: @11WhatNow I don't know if you have tried this but make sure your hair is really damp, put a little mousse in it and then point your blow dryer close to your head and in the direction you want the bangs to go. Make sure the blow dryer is on high heat. That should help!

asksash88: @SmartyMartyy I don't know if you have already tried this but I always print off pictures of the bangs I want...usually just google celebrity haircuts like nicole richie. Also, when you show the picture explain in detail what exactly it is you like about the bangs and where you want them to hit on your face. hope that helps!

asksash88: @flowerbloomx You can just apply the deep conditioner to your ends in the shower- you dont have to get it anywhere near you roots. I've never tried moroccan oil before so not sure.

Iva Žagar: @TheSami201 does it get stuck when you roll the hair around the brush or it stucks just in general? because if they get stuck when you wana flip the tips and you roll up too far your upper hair can get stuck with your lower hair and create a knot-so just shouldn't roll up as much. but if it gets stuck when you just comb through, than you probably have too thick or too knoted hair-don't use the brush on wet hair and use a detangler :) hope it helps and please excuse my english :)

asksash88: @MissMadiStu Because my hair is straight I'm not the best person to ask advice about curly hair. You might want to invest in a nice straightener if you haven't already. I use a chi straightener that I bought at Sam's Club for $80. throughout middle school and highschool I pretty much only wore eyeliner, mascara, blush and lip gloss, even now I pretty much only wear a lot of eye makeup when I am out with friends at night. I would say just stick with light slightly shimmery colors now :)
