How To: Perfect Wavy Curls + Curtain Bangs // My Favorite Way To Style My New Hair

Hey guys it's jack jack and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video, i'm showing you guys how i do this hair, i'm showing you guys how i like to curl my hair lately. Ever since i got my hair done, i've been curling, it a little bit differently now, and i absolutely am obsessed with it. So i can't wait to share with you guys how i've been doing it lately. It is so much easier quicker, saves time. I think it looks way more stylish than how i used to curl my hair before and you get this like cool curtain. Bang effect. If you have like money pieces, mine are very subtle, but if you have like money pieces that frame your face or you have um curtain bangs or like very shaggy bangs, this is going to be so cute with your hairstyle. All you're going to need is two hair ties and either a flat iron or curling iron. To achieve this look, so if you guys want to find out how to get this hairstyle, then just keep on watching. I don't use a brush or anything like that. I just use two hair ties and my flat iron: if you have a curling iron, you can totally achieve the same type of effect with a curling iron. The flat iron is just all i have so. Essentially, what we're doing is a four by four. So we're doing four sections going up our hair and then four sections like through our hair you'll, see what i mean as we get started. So i'm just going to take the first hair tie and create my first section. So i'm starting like right, where my ears are and just dragging it back and that's where we get this first section so with the hair tie, we're just going to tie this hair up and out of the way. So our hair split in half on both sides and with this section we're going to create four sections so going like that. We'Re going to curl four times on this side and four times on this side, and it's always easier if you start with the back curl. First, so this is a pretty thick section of hair, so i'm just grabbing that and curling it with my flat iron. So i went really fast with my curling iron, so you get kind of this soft wave. So i'm going to toss that in the back another section and what i like to do is actually leave out a little bit of the ends. So i don't curl the ends in my previous, like curling videos with a flat iron. I used to like curl everything, but i tried to keep the ends open so about like maybe an inch. I just stop curling, so you get i. I know that doesn't look like much, but that's just our little a little wave and i'm curling outwards and i'm going pretty fast down the hair and then stopping at the end like that. So this is what it should look like. Basically, so tossing that this is kind of what it should look like. It doesn't look like much right now so now on to the next side same thing, going outward with my hair and then leaving about an inch out, i like to twist the hair. So there we go there's that twist back and then leave about like an inch out. I have to do a voiceover for this part, because zoe started barking so now you're going to take your other hair tie and go ahead and tie back those curls just to get them out of the way. So when we curl the rest of the hair, it doesn't get like mixed up so now go ahead and take out that top hair tie and create another section that we're going to curl, i'm going to split it in half, just like i did before so here Are our two halves of hair and we're going to create four sections just like before? Okay, so i let down the hair tie that i had holding the curls. So here's what we have so far, i'm gon na take my hair tie again and gently tie back these curls. So now, with this top section, we're gon na split it into two, because we again we're doing a four by four. So we're creating four sections going up, so that was the second section we just did so we're going to do. The third section right now tie this up. So it's out of the way and then split this in half. We don't have as much hair now because we did the bulk of it already. So i keep the top two sections a little bit thinner and then again same thing, creating four sections going back so and finally time to do this last section. So i want to make sure i have a center part, so i'm just going to drag my nail back to create kind of a clean center part and again do the same thing, creating four sections, but we are going to do our bangs a little bit differently. So i'll show you that when we get there, okay, i'm gon na leave this last one here for a second and then go ahead and do this side. So now we have these two sections and i combine them together. This is going to probably look weird, but i curl it like this. I might have to do it a couple times, but i curl it out and just kind of twist it like that until they kind of create this, like wind blown effect so i'll, do it a couple more times like maybe just with these blank bangs right here And that way you get like that curtain, bang effect or almost like the pharah faucet type of bangs, so just keep kind of curling them back until you are happy with how they look. I might have to do this section a little bit more okay, we got something like that. I'M gon na go ahead and take down the rest of my hair, and now i'm gon na just brush, through with my fingers, to kind of blend everything together. This is my new favorite way to curl my hair number one. It'S just so much faster number, two, the fact that these ends are kind of straight. I think it just looks so pretty and i love this kind of curtain bang effect. So that is it for how i like to style my hair, how i like to curl my hair saves time super stylish. I hope you guys give it a try. You can do the same thing, of course, with a curling iron. All i had was a flat iron. Oh my gosh. I almost forgot to share with you guys that afterwards you can put a hair oil in your hair. This is the briojo, be well organic, cold press 100, castor oil. This is a pretty thick hair oil, but i really really love it. So i just take a little bit. I already put a little bit on off camera, but i'll put a little more. I like to focus mainly on the ends, but here you can see a little frizziness. You could take a little bit and just kind of run that through your hair, if your hair is not frizzy, don't have to worry about it. But if your hair is a little frizzy, you can add that and voila there you go. Oh also. I don't ever use hairspray. So if you are someone who tends to use hairspray after you, curl go ahead and use the hairspray right now, but i just i don't know why i just never use hairspray. So here you go.
