How To: Style Bangs In A Side Swoop With Curly Hair

Hey, ladies, so today i'm actually going to teach you how to do this super cute vintage hairstyle and not only is my shirt vintage, but i actually learned this hairstyle in a vintage movie. So stick around so, as you guys can see, my hair is in curlers right now and what i'm doing is i'm kind of pre-setting my curls, while i'm gon na do this nice swoop on the front, and i actually left my bangs out just because this is Where my swoop is gon na be, and it's a little bit more than my bangs, it goes a little bit to the side of my eyebrow all the way to the other side of my eyebrow and now what i'm going to do is i'm going to tease This section and i'm going to divide it into about two or three sections and tease with my rat tail comb and i'm going to tease just slightly up and down cool. Now, i'm going to smooth this hair out and i'm going to use my round brush. I'M going to place it right in the back of my teezing and i'm going to direct it into 360 degrees and i'm going to roll it back up and then i'm going to hair spray it so that i can start my molding. What i'm going to do is i'm going to apply some heat and i'm going to leave it there for a couple seconds, i'm going to kind of move my blow dryer around that way. I can get a nice molding effect, so, as you guys can see when i did my heat, i made sure that i directed my blow dryer behind in front and through the sides of my comb and that's really important because it actually has the heat go through. Your hair, through all the angles around so now, as you guys, can see, i've actually have a nice little wave going on. What i'm going to do is i'm going to kind of mold it a little bit more and i'm going to kind of just do a pink curl so that i can hide my excess hair. So what you're going to do is you're going to smooth out your hair and you're, going to kind of with your thumb, pin it and curl it around there and slowly curl it in take the hair out of your thumb, once you're done and pin it right Behind your whole base cool, so now that i pinned this back, what i'm going to do is i'm just going to smooth it out with my hairspray and a regular comb, i'm just going to smooth the hair back a little bit so now what i'm going to Do is i'm going to take out all my curlers, because my hair is probably super curly now cool. Now what i'm going to do is i'm just going to run my fingers through my hair that way the curl can fully get released. I'M going to divide this side sections and i'm going to take this out and the same one on the other side, and this is going to be the section that's going to look like it's pulled back. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to divide this half section of my hair and i'm going to clip that up and i'm gon na bring this two side sections back and i'm gon na tie them with an elastic in the back of my head. So now that i have my base in the back and it's all tied up, what i'm going to do is i'm going to apply a little bit of metamorphosis all throughout my hair, just to bring out that nice shine and i'm going to smooth the sides of My hair, as well as run it with my fingers throughout my hair, so on the sides here. I want it to look very sleek, so i'm just going to apply directly this part, i'm just going to apply as how it's being formed, and you guys can always use your rat tail comb to kind of fix in all the details that you need to fix And whatever needs to be pinned make sure you pin it whether you use your open or your closed bobby pins, and now i'm going to apply my flower awesome now, i'm all done whoa.
