Hey guys Imani here welcome back to my channel, so today what I'm gon na show you guys is my go-to style whenever I am not really in the mood for my wigs or I'm just wearing my natural here off for the day, it is a summertime. So you can't wear wigs every day I try to, but sometimes you just got ta let the natural hair breathe. So I'm just gon na show you guys my pretty much go to sell whenever I do wear my natural hair out and I'm also going to feature some really good natural hair clip pens they match about a. I would say a 3 B to 4b type of hair texture, cuz um. It is really clearly the clip-ins. I got them off of Amazon for about. One bundle, cost me about $ 40. I believe so yeah, I'm just gon na show you guys how I put the clippings in and then pretty much my go-to updo with curly bangs in the front. So I'm just giving you an up-close view of what the texture of the clip ins look like that. I'M using today I've had these clippings for about I've. Had these clippings for months honestly and I've worn them numerous times so right now they are more on the frizzy and worn side. But to be honest, I like, when they look worn because then they match my natural texture more. If they were just perfectly coyly, it would be kind of obvious there would be a big texture difference, so I kind of teased them myself and just kind of separate the curls, and I don't really mind the frizz because, like I said it will match my natural Here more but just this is like just a little example of a clip and I'm gon na be using today and, as you can see, there's the little clip on the back. It'S opening right now and you just kind of part your here and just snap it into place, and this is the name of the store I got these clippings from from Amazon vinalia, I think, is pronounced and yeah. I got a bundle of these clippings here, so I've already washed and deep conditioned my hair using Shea Moisture products. I just use like the curl and shine shampoo and conditioner than one of their deep mask treatments. I left it in for about 20 minutes and then I just rinsed it out. So that's pretty much. I hear prep for these. My hair is still like really wet, like it's kind of like almost dripping, but for these natural hair clippings to match your hair texture. You'Re going to want your hair to be really wet because you want it to be as coyly as possible and blend in with the clippings as much as possible. So I just have like a little spray bottle of water here that I'm going to use it. Just like spray, my hair, whenever we get into the clippings and then one of the products that I stand and I stand by and I will always buy this product until they stop making it. Hopefully they never do is the uncle Funky's curly magic, curl stimulator. I really love this product. It has like a really gel, like texture, which kind of smoothes my hair and really accentuates the curls amazingly, and then on top of that I'll just use a little bit of oil because I feel, like that's always just good for natural hair, for the moisture and Also, the definition oil really brings out definition in your curls also so always follow up any products with oil. Okay. So what I'm gon na do is super simple, I'm just going to kind of part my hair only about twice because it is gon na be up. It'S not really gon na be down, so I don't need a whole lot of clippings. I'M not even gon na use the whole bundle, but I'm just going to coat my hands and some oil. So I can kind of control the first a little bit more and then I'm gon na part, my hair, I think in the middle and then kind of up front here and that's going to be used to just kind of like when I put my hair up. It'S gon na give it more volume and the coils from the clip band is just gon na make my hair look more fine. So that's what we're gon na pretty much do so got my hands all and glistening here, and I got my ponytail holders ready. I like to coat these in oil too, like I'm gon na, like rub these between my fingers or between my palms, because when your hair gets dry and you're trying to take these things out, if you have really puffy curly kinky hair like I do, it is Just girl, I've cried many times. I am NOT gon na lie. I have cried so many times trying to get these things out of my here without causing any breakage, and they always do, and I pretty much found out that if you just kind of oil them up, they kind of like slip out your hair a little bit Better as long as you're here is very moisturized as well. Okay, so I'm just gon na start and I'm not gon na, do anything like no still got some conditioner in my hair. Well, it doesn't need to be a super clean part. At least I don't think it has to be I'm just gon na part it with my fingers right across the back here. Okay, I am going to leave this much out. I'M gon na take one of my longer clippings in and I'm just going to clip this in the back. Since I am going to be putting my hair up, I am NOT going to clip it down like this. I'M going to turn them like flip them like this and then flip them and flip them up. You know so they're not laying down like this they're gon na, be up like that, just because it's gon na be going in the direction that I'm going to have. My hair in okay, so the ponytail or the bun that I'm going to be doing both clippings are already in place. I am also going to use clippings for my bangs that are going to hang in the front here, so I have one clip in here that I already cut really sure it's above about the length of my bangs, and it's only one clip in long now. I'M going to separate the section in the part of my here where I'm going to put my clip-in bangs, so I'm just going to take my you know just take some hair out right here. That'S pretty much all I need. I might not even need this much here, but we'll see I can always bobby, pin them back if it's too much here in the front now, I'm gon na take one of my oils up here and, and I'm going to put my hair up into my bun. So this is where my water and the funk bunkies on products is gon na come in. I'M just gon na kind of separate various portions of my hair make sure they are. You see like that. Undef initial starting already, definitely need some water, so I'm just gon na spray this down here now I've got some uncle Funky's on my hands. Definition is now there so right now after I just we wet my bangs and then put some products in that the curls are very stretched, but let me tell you string, it is no joke and my hair is gon na, be like fruit, like it's gon na, Like bounce right back up in about like ten minutes, so I'm going to take this clip in and this is going to go. I'M gon na kind of like tuck it right underneath my bangs, so that my reveal here covers up the clip. Now I'm going to finish up with my edges and the products I've been using like religiously every single day from my edges is something I've really grown to love it's from a brand called touchdown edge. Tamer, I'm gon na give you guys a little close-up of that. This is the maximum hold first touchdown edutainment. It says it holds up to 36 hours. It has argan oil, tea tree oil, jojoba oil and Brazilian nut oil. This is a really good edge, tamer and also just like a really good gel to kind of slick. Your hair, if you were going to do like a slick, ponytail, look or anything like that, it smells amazing like it smells like candy. I love the way. This smells put some of this on my edges and smooth this down. Okay, you guys so that pretty much finishes up the video for today. I hope you guys enjoyed everything. I will put the link in the description below about where I got my clippings from up with the direct link to the Amazon store and also the product descriptions for everything that I used in the video today. The uncle Funky's curl magic, the edge control tamer that I use pretty much I mean those were like really the only two, but I was like wha that detailed below it's pretty much my go-to hairstyle for the summer when I want to just wear my natural curly Hair the clip ends do add a lot of volume and definition. So I definitely always add those in it's just really easy, not even ten minutes to do this hairstyle, so I hope you guys enjoy the video.
