Faux Curly Bangs & High Bun Natural Hair | T'Keyah B

Hey: what's up you guys welcome back to my channel. My name is t'keyah for those of you who do not know in this video. I just wanted to show you guys how I achieved this. Look. It'S just a faux curly bang with a huge bun and I did do the bun two different ways. A lot of you asked how I achieved this style on Instagram. So I hope you like it I'm going to be using my irresistible me curling wand, with the smallest barrel, to get the perfect bang. Look. You guys have seen this one before and you know it is my face. If you are lazy natural like me, then you know this struggle all too well, leaving your hair in a bun for too long. So I'm going to start off by detangling this mess. So I'm gathering my hair into a loose bun just so that the hair is out of the way I'm going to smooth my edges down with this bristle brush just to prepare them and make sure you guys do not forget the back. You need to get the kitchen I'm using this curls passion-fruit control paste and my very old nasty toothbrush to smooth down my edges, I'm using the bristle brush again to smooth everything out. So there aren't any greasy looking lines in my hair. Now I'm finally taking my hair out of that raggedy bun, I'm going to smooth everything down and get my hair all the way to the top of my head, and I mean like as close to the front hairline as possible without looking crazy. If you know what I mean so now, I'm going to separate the bangs from the rest of the hair, I'm using my favorite Kiehl's heat protective cream, which you guys always see. So I'm going to be using small sections and I'm going to start curl winding the hair make sure you do not wrap it too tightly coiled on the wand, so that it does come down into your face and create a bang. Look okay for the first bun! I'M just gon na gather all the hair in the back, push it up so that the bun stands up and then I'm going to bobby, pin it in place. The bangs look like they're coming directly from the bun, which makes it look like the fake hair. So we're going to want to bobby, pin it down so that it looks like actual bangs, then just adjust it to make it look more natural. So now I'm just going to touch up my edges and then lay them down. So when I take it off, it looks a lot more sleek really quickly. I wanted to let you guys know that I will be in Atlanta for the pink curls meet-and-greet party. With these other lovely women they are bloggers and bloggers will be kicking off the world. Natural hair show it'll be on the 23rd and the 24th, but the meet-and-greet party will actually be a day before on the 22nd, so check the description box for all of the information for the second bun, I'm going to wrap my hair around the top of the Bank portion I'm going to bobby pin that back sort of like a ninja bun.
