What do you get when you put a dash of posh spice, a sprinkle of clueless and a hint of brandy, circa, 1994 and baby? Oh, you get a look. I wanted to do a play up on the band trend. Yes, you guys know, i serve all facets of the slate, and today's look is absolutely no different. I'M going to show you the good bad, the ugly and everything in between so make sure you keep on watching this unit is a part of my collection in collaboration with rpg show. You guys have seen this unit before it's nothing new, but we're gon na play on these looks okay. So after you know co-washing the unit allowing it to air dry, i blow dried it and here i'm flat ironing it and i'm using the comb chase method, which is really important, because i, like my units to be particularly silky, because this is a silkier texture. Oh honey, oh, it gets very silky it's about 14 inches in length, and i love this color. Now you guys know. I wanted to show you more of how to slay your units after you cut the lace, i believe, like that's, really tricky for a lot of new wig wearers and so we're going to delve into it. But you always want to make sure that you slick the hair away from your face. It just keeps everything neat. I always emphasize this because it's super important now once i finally slide this unit on it's pretty much out of my face, which i prefer, because, when your hair kind of gets mixed into any adhesive or spray or gel that you use it's a messes. But one of the tricks i'm using now is like taking a bit of liquid lipstick and kind of sliding it at the base of the lace front edge as like an indicator. And then i like to use a bit of alcohol on a cotton round and fade it away and then so when i apply the got to be glue, styling spiking glue, this is the water resistant version. I know exactly where to place it. I don't place too much and everything just works out now. You guys see i'm laying down a very thin layer. It looks almost clear when it starts to dry down, and this is how it should look, don't make it too clumpy or too opaque. That'S not what you want, but i was me mugging in this clip. I don't know what was going on so once the gel is tacky, i'm going to slide the unit and position it exactly where i like, be very specific. You have a few seconds before you know it starts to stick in place and create that white residue so be strategic and use the end of that red tail. Comb and don't forget, use your blow dryer on the cool setting to further set the lace in place. Keeping all of the stray flyaway hairs out of the way i can't emphasize neatness enough, i'm going back in with the cotton round and a little bit of alcohol to just clean the excess gel away it works. It makes it easier says: just follow my tips now. I did the same thing for the left and right sides. The ear tabs are a bit trickier, so you have to lay a bit more product and be super super neat about this, because once you get that lace, you position it and it dries down. It could look practically like skin, it just disappears. The lace on this unit is superb, an rpg show did their thing definitely check the description box. I have links to this unit, so you can shop it or if you don't want the blonde look, you can do this with any unit. You have on hand i'm giving you style inspiration. What is a wig install without an elastic band? I'M going to link one below so definitely check that out, and this is important, because this will help to lay that lace into the skin and practically melting after taking off the elastic band. After about like 10 to 15 minutes, i noticed the baby. Hairs were kind of like smashed onto my face, and that happens so just take a comb and brush in the opposite direction in which you want the hair to lay and if it flakes just add a little bit of water very, very little bit now. This is where things get crazy. Okay, i was nervous, i'm scared about like doing styling with wigs, but i'm stepping out of my comfort zone, and so i'm taking you all with me. I wanted to do a very deep set c shaped part. This is really important when you're trying to capture the essence of this look. So take your time doing this, because this hair is silkier, oh my goodness, but this is a glueless full lace, wig, so parting. This unit was a breeze which i'm so thankful for. That'S why i love full lace, wigs, but i'm going in with the flyaway tamer, which is essentially a wax stick, and i'm going to use this to slick all of the flyaways down and also to start molding. The hair i like to use wax first to mold the hair and with a fine, toothed comb, i'm just distributing that wax. So it's coating all of the strands and then going in and straightening up that part now y'all know i'm like team crooked parts, but i really wanted to make this work again. I was very nervous, but i'm still pushing through, because i want to slay once you've sectioned out the portion of your bang keep all of the excess clipped away. So you don't get intimidated. Okay, because i was on the verge of giving up. Did i mention that you need a hot comb and it needs to be on the highest setting, make sure it's not going to burn the hair, okay and don't use excessive product on the hair. If you intend to hot comb it because you will burn the hair, so i'm trying to get the hair near the part extremely flat, and especially around the crown and the bang. So i'm working diligently to lay that thing down if you think you've hot combed, your hair enough, do it again trust me just just do it again now with my soft bristled brush, i'm just trying to get that swoop. You know what i'm saying i wanted to get that swoop there it is going and the soft bristle brush just helps to better guide the hair, and then i used a fine tooth comb to kind of follow up. I feel like this creates a neater look, especially using the rat tail comb end now with the blasting freeze spray. All right, let's be careful, let's be modest! Okay, if you go in here being super liberal, it could get crunchy and crazy and white. Okay, because the residue so take your time spray a little bit and work and mold the hair in the direction that you want it to go. I feel like because this is a full lace wig. This is one of the best options for styling, but you need to make sure that your hair underneath is flat and there are no bumps and honey. I have like meek millies mixed with plaits, it's a mess under there, but you know what i did the best that i could, even though my foundation wasn't as flat as possible and with the blow dry on the cool setting. I'M just using this to ensure that all of the hair is in place and i don't have any flyaways. This is a good way to double check. Okay, so i wanted to set the bang in place before moving over to the left side. Okay, so i wanted to section out any of the adult hairs that i will be using, because you know i'm gon na do adult swoops and i wanted to again. First use the wax. This helps to mold and you know just get the hair to flow in the direction that i want it to lay, and i went absolutely crazy with the freeze spray. I don't know why i was doing that much, but you know what it's lifted down. If you want to loosen the hold add a little bit of water now to slick it back, i just used a bobby pin, be very careful, make sure that it is tucked, because if it is not, it will cause the hair to frizz. It will poke out. It will not look neat now for these adult swoops, i'm using the invincible, styling gel. This is in the black bottle and i'm going to apply a little amount. A little goes a long way, and i just swoop. Okay, if you find that there's too much hair in your swoop, where it's too heavy too dense, use some tweezers to thin it out and again, i didn't want to do too much because i'm not trying to have baby hairs on swim. Okay, we just want to put our feet in the pool: okay, an adult swoop. No, you know i beat my face and i came back and i'm just going to flat iron the rest of the hair. You know it had a lot of bends. While i was letting it set, but this is honestly uh i would say somewhat easy: i'm not even going to hold you not everybody has the patience, but i like to try new things and i'm happy i stuck with it, but just flat iron, the hair to Make it super sleek? I didn't want my bang to be like super shiny, like od shiny, so y'all could. Let me know how i did. I know that i'm going to get better with time, so this is a style. I would definitely replicate. Try it again. Maybe with a natural hair color, what do you guys think don't worry about the bang portion, i'm going to fix that, but luckily it is concealed. Thank the lord and i know you probably think that you hot combed your hair enough, but i'm gon na. Let you know you probably need to do it again, hit it one more time. Okay, especially around that part right before we go in with our foundation and pressed powder, just do all the heat styling first and then with the wet and wild photo focus foundation and the maybelline fit me pressed powder. I'M going to accentuate that part because i do not have on a wig cap, so i had to go a little bit. You know more intense to make sure that it's very well defined. Now, i'm a fan. I love. How i did this you guys could definitely let me know your thoughts. How did i do, but i love this look super 90s and i'm feeling it again check the description box for all details on my look, even the hair and so much more. Thank you guys.
