How do you get hello, hi, welcome back or welcome to my channel, i'm kaylee, i don't introduce myself. I haven't introduced myself in a video in so long. What if people like, don't know how to say my name, anyways, i'm going to show you how i style my current bangs. I have gotten this question quite a bit quite a bit. This is second day hair, because i i didn't want to wash my hair today because i washed it yesterday and i'm trying not to wash my hair every day. So these are the essentials you are going to need for this video. What i like to use for my hair is the revlon hair brush blow dryer thing, i'm sure, if you're on tick, tock and you've seen hair videos, you've probably seen this. I'Ve used this in my videos a lot but yeah. This right here is my holy grail. It'S definitely worth buying, so if you have been thinking about buying it, i definitely recommend it, but if you do not have that and you have a blow dryer and you'd rather go that route, obviously a blow dryer, preferably one that isn't probably older than your brother. My brother's 11., this is probably like a fire hazard. I don't even know how we still have this thing. It'S literally like broken and then, if you are going to be doing it with a blow dryer, you are going to need a round brush. Then you are going to need some sort of curlers, i have the little foamy ones and then i have hard ones, and i will be talking about those later. I have a tickle on my throat and it won't go away every single time. I get a tickle. My throat, i get so scared that i'm sick, this is optional, but if you want to section your hair way easier, i would get clips and then last is a spray bottle full of water. If you are doing this on dry hair, because i heard somewhere that blow drying my hair isn't like the best also, it doesn't style as good. This isn't the curtain bangs part i will get to the curtain. Banks part, but first i do need the rest of my hair to look nice. So i section off the top very sloppily, just like i put a clip in there so like won't move, sometimes i'll put two because see that little guy loves to fall out right. There i just spray her a little bit just to get her a little bit damp um. I am not the greatest at explaining things, but pretty much. What i do is i go like this. I go like this and then i roll under that's what i'm gon na do. That is that little piece done you can tell it. Just has a little like blue, usually just like curl it around my finger and throw it in the back. And then i just do that to the rest of my whole head. So i'm gon na do that and then, when we get to the face framing and the curtain bangs, i will explain that when we get there okay, so all of this section is blow dry and i leave these pieces out because it kinda has to do with The curtain bangs okay, so i am gon na tell you, i'm gon na tell you guys about the curlers that i use, because i've been getting so many freaking questions about them. So these are hard curlers. I just recently got these and these are foam curlers. They are squishy in the middle and these are really good if you want to sleep in your curlers, because i don't like these would be so uncomfortable to sleep in you. Don'T really need pins for these. They like really stick to your hair. What i have done in the past, too i'll put these in my ends just to here just to give my hair a little more volume at the end. I actually used these in the video where i recreated madison beers vogue makeup. Look, i used them in that video and then i got this very voluminous look and i will be posting a tutorial on how to get that like 90s blowout type hair so expect that video. That might be my next video or the video after that, but i'm gon na film it very soon. I did get a lot of questions where i got my curlers from. I got these hard curlers from they're from dry bar. I got them at nordstrom's rack. They were like on sale, there nine come in this package and there is this size and this size, so this one's a little bit bigger, if you put it here, it gives it like more volume this, obviously, if it's smaller it gives it more of a tighter Curl and i was actually giving these foamy curlers and i did text her, and i asked her where she got him from, because i've been getting so many questions from you guys of where these are from she's. Pretty sure she got these off amazon, you can get them at sally's, i'll, make sure to link everything in the description. So you guys don't have to go and like search for it, because that's annoying we're gon na get into the process. Now, if you're going in with a brush and a blow dryer, it's pretty much the same exact technique as this: it's just you have to hold a blow dryer on top. I'M gon na show you how to do that. I don't like using this. It is too complicated and takes too long. This is actually how you're supposed to do it. This is like this is the professional way to do it. I'M just lazy - and i like this thing better because it's quicker okay, so first i am going to blow dry. These little pieces, but what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na go in this motion like away from my face. So it's like, i don't know how to explain what i'm doing, but i feel like you get the point. So that's what i'm gon na do now. We have that very nice little swoop right there and what i'm going to do is i'm going to take one of my bigger curlers, because this is a bigger chunk of hair and what you do is i'm doing this in the viewfinder. So it's a little difficult, but you take it on the end. Okay and now what i'm gon na do, because these don't stay that much. I take a bobby pin and i pin these bad boys like this and then i'm gon na pin it up in here to my head. So it doesn't like bounce around and stuff and then i'm going to go and do the other side. So now we're going to move on to the curtain bangs and first i am going to be showing you how to do it with a round brush and a blow dryer. I'M not going to be doing it. This way, i'm just going to show you like the motion and how you're supposed to do it. How i would do it, and you would take it like this and then you would blow dry it at the same exact time and you'd like keep like rolling and stuff, and that's how you would do it with that um. I am going to be going in with this. Oh, i do want to mention i've gotten a lot of questions, because some people, like they've, asked, do you go this way or do you go this way? I usually go this way. This way is more effective. For me, but if you really really want volume at your roots, you go this way and like redirect it so this part's going up, so you have more volume at the top, but either way works. I don't really. I don't know. I just go this way because that's just what i do, but so i go like this and i go over it like multiple times and then i'm quickly going to be putting in one of these foamy ones, because i do want to show you guys both of The results, so i'm going to do that now, just kidding i thought i was going to start. Um, definitely spray them with water first, because they will turn out so much better if they're wet. If you have wet hair, then you don't need to worry about spraying water on them, but they turn out so much better when they're wet. So so these are way better to like sticking to the hair. So you don't really need a pin, but like i'm just gon na pin it because i definitely don't want it to fall. That is what i do. I recently started doing this and i feel like it makes them turn out way better um. I just take dry shampoo. This one was given to me. I still know anything about dry shampoo. My friend, who has gone to hair school recently introduced me to dry shampoo. So, but i spray this in my roots, because this is secondary, hair and my hair does get oily very fast and when my hair is oily, it just like falls and gets super straight and has no volume, and this helps me have more volume at my roots. So i just spray it this one's totally falling out of place. I just spray that around my roots, i feel like it does. Something could be wrong. I usually put them in before i do my makeup. I have them in my hair for probably like 10 to 30 minutes, but just make sure you take them out when it is cooled down. Okay, we're gon na do a transition on here. Let'S see if it'll work, i have a feeling that that looked really bad. Okay, so we're back and my hair is cooled so now we're gon na take them out and we're gon na see the final product. So now we're going to be taking out the main one. The one everyone's excited for this is probably my favorite part of my day oh hold on. That is how i style my curtain bangs, and i kind of just flip my hair over like all day. Oh, my gosh, i just i love curtain bangs so much they just they make like my outfits. Look better. They just make me look more put together. That'S pretty much it! I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope some of you found it helpful.
